Politics / Re: About The Presidential Election On Saturday. by EOS(m): 4:17pm On Apr 12, 2011
Procedure for the election released by INEC is very good, but the implementation is poor. Last week National Assembly election was credible only in very few places. The election was massively rigged in most places, and we should expect the same thing coming Saturday.

Politics / Nyako: We'll Return 75% Votes For Jonathan. by EOS(m): 12:59pm On Apr 12, 2011
Adamawa State Governor, Murtala Nyako, Monday, said President Goodluck Jonathan is assured of 75%, and if possible 95% votes in Adamawa State in next Saturday presidential election.
Nyako who spoke with Journalist in Yola in reaction to the performance of the PDP in the National Assembly election, said the people of the State would vote massively for Jonathan just like they did during PDP Presidential primaries. It would be recalled that PDP won the three senatorial seats in the state.

If Nyako words are to be taken, that means other PDP governors in the North will be ready to buy Resident electoral commissioners(RECs) with any amount to deliver their states for Jonathan in order not to be left behind. With this permutation, it then means Buhari should be ready to go to court again as the coming Saturday Presidential election may not favor him.
Politics / Buhari To Jonathan: I Have Never Stolen Public Funds by EOS(m): 8:04am On Apr 08, 2011
Congress for progressive Change (CPC) Presidential candidate, Muhammed Buhari has challanged People Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential candidate, Dr Goodluck Jonathan, to publicly declare that he has never stolen public funds as a public officer. Buhari also declared that he has never touched a kobo of public funds throughout his career in government. Buhari spoke in Lagos wednesday at the presentation of CPC manifesto. He said, "I have had the fortune and privilege of managing national resources in various capacities- as a military commander, as a state governor, as a minister, as a head of Petroleum Trust Fund and as a head of state of this great country. And in all that i have been and done, i have never touched a kobo of public funds." Challenging Jonathan, his main rival in the presidential race, Buhari said, "I say this without pride and with sense of responsibility and humility, but i challenge anyone in the race for leadership of this country then or now to dare make the same claim."

This is a serious challenge! If Jonathan is clean, let him briefly respond to further boost the confidence of the electorate in him.

Vote the candidate you trust! This topic has no weight.
Politics / Re: Only 300 To Vote Per Polling Unit-inec by EOS(m): 11:04pm On Apr 06, 2011
@Hattude. Each Polling officer is going to carry a complete sheet of the register; with your register card it won't take them more than 30 seconds to accredit one person and the register is manual.
Politics / Re: Only 300 To Vote Per Polling Unit-inec by EOS(m): 2:59pm On Apr 06, 2011
@egift, you should understand the comment very well. Wherever the voters happened to be over 300, a new polling unit will be created at the same unit you earlier registered. For clarity, if 1800 registered at a polling unit, the number will be divided by 300 to get 6. This means 6 polling units will come out of original one(1) unit at the same venue(station) which will be presided by 6 polling officers.
Politics / Only 300 To Vote Per Polling Unit-inec by EOS(m): 10:32am On Apr 06, 2011
Part of the decisions reached at INEC meeting headed by Jega yesterday was to have not more than 300 voters per polling unit in order to ensure completion of accreditation within four hours and for voting to commence by noon.
This means wherever the voters happened to be over 300, a new polling unit will be created.

Seconded, at least, this will reduce a pressure on the queue and time factor.

Express your mind on the INEC decision.
Politics / Re: Why You'll Never Vote For Muhammadu Buhari? by EOS(m): 9:01am On Apr 06, 2011
kicking against voting for Buhari or Jonathan is not the matter for now. What matter most at this period of time is election should be peaceful, credible, free and fair, and results should be announced at each polling unit. Since we are all educated, there is no need to be lectured on the two candidates. We know the candidates abilities, their records and performances very well. Let the D day decide. FIRE ON THE MOUNTAIN!
Politics / Re: Why You'll Never Vote For Muhammadu Buhari? by EOS(m): 5:14am On Apr 05, 2011
People are just accusing Buhari falsely because of their myopic idea.
Politics / Re: Why You'll Never Vote For Goodluck Jonathan? by EOS(m): 9:16pm On Apr 04, 2011
I will  not vote Jonathan because he has not shown seriousness in fighting CORRUPTION. In the Presidential debate organized by BON, Goodluck Jonathan made a statement that if he wins the presidential race, he would appoint people that are less corrupt as away of tackling corruption. The statement shows that the sitting president has no program at all. How could he say appointing people that are less corrupt is away of fighting corruption. Corruption is corruption, just like sin is a sin; nothing like less corruption.
Politics / Re: What Attracted You To Support Buhari/bakare 2011 by EOS(m): 10:36am On Apr 04, 2011
I'm in support of Buhari because he is honest and a straight forward Man, he is totally ready and committed to eliminate/destroy CORRUPTION that has been a menace in Nigeria. This is a Man who was Minister of Petroleum in 1975, NNPC Chairman 1979, Head of State in 1984/85 and PTF Chairman in 1995 to 1999, and yet this gentle Man has no land property in Abuja, no Petroleum station in any part of this Country. Some few individuals against Buhari are corrupt and by all means want Nigeria to continue to be ruled by corrupt elements. TRUTH IS BITTER!
Politics / Re: Reuters Mocks INEC's Incompetence Over Postponed National Assembly Elections by EOS(m): 10:42am On Apr 03, 2011
Replacing of electoral officials by a party loyalists  is not a problem. They can even go ahead to bring party executives to do the work of intended officials. The sweetest thing is that result must be counted and announced at each polling unit, otherwise cancel. No shaking!
Politics / Re: Reuters Mocks INEC's Incompetence Over Postponed National Assembly Elections by EOS(m): 8:02pm On Apr 02, 2011
Jega should be totally blame in the postponement of today election. And truly, he accepted it. He suppose to know the kind of contractor is dealing with from onset. He did the same mistake during registration, and the same thing is already happening. Is it compulsory that the contractor must be an indigenous one? I think he should have gone for a competent and efficient foreign contractor instead of those with flimsy excuses.
Politics / Re: Report Here On National Assembly Elections: 2nd April, 2011 by EOS(m): 11:00am On Apr 02, 2011
We are still waiting at polling unit; non of the official has shown, let alone commencement of the election in Kogi State.
Politics / Re: General Buhari Is A Disappointment To Me. He Is Unfit To Be President. by EOS(m): 11:18am On Mar 30, 2011
If Buhari has lost the election already as claimed by some few individuals, why are they still having sleepless night? I expect them to start dinning and winning, instead of continous attack on him.
Politics / Re: Presidential Race-atiku, Ibb, Gusau For Buhari! by EOS(m): 9:07am On Mar 30, 2011
IBB, Atiku and Ciroma are corrupt, deceiver, selfish and betrayer. They should continue with PDP. Infact, we don't need they support in the alliance talk between CPC and ACN/ANPP. IBB is a devil!
Politics / Re: Buhari - Live In Kano With Pictures! by EOS(m): 8:53am On Mar 30, 2011
Free and fair election! But why PDP members are always attacking Buhari? I think they should be attacking Tinubu who is after them instead of Buhari. Or, are they afraid Buhari chances?
Politics / Re: South West: Between Ribadu And Buhari by EOS(m): 8:16am On Mar 30, 2011
Voting Buhari or Ribadu is not the matter. What matter most is free, fair and credible election without violence, and result should be announced at each polling unit.
Politics / Re: Ibb Endorses Ribadu For President by EOS(m): 9:13pm On Mar 28, 2011
ibb is a deceiver, corrupt and should not be giving attention.
Politics / Re: BON/NEDG Vice-Presidential Debate: Official Thread by EOS(m): 8:27pm On Mar 28, 2011
I'm watching the debate. It's an arrange debate, usual grammar. No talks on corruption, that means there is no CORRUPTION. Sambo is only emphasizing  on God has giving us water, oil, coal, mineral, etc. ARE YOU NIGERIANS AWARE THAT NOTHING IS GOING ON THE SO CALLED DREDGING? PLS, TRY AND FIND OUT.
Politics / Re: Ibb Endorses Ribadu For President by EOS(m): 11:04am On Mar 28, 2011
any person that follows ibb talks is bound to fall into ditch or pit. i always wonder why people are listening to ibb. he is a devil!!
Politics / Re: How Buhari Skewed PTF Projects In Favor Of His Northern Zone- By Yoruba Body by EOS(m): 9:25pm On Mar 26, 2011
Beaf, what we are praying for is credible election. Vote for your choice and stop deceiving people. It is only those who are intellectually dwarf that will take your comment important.
Politics / Re: How Buhari Skewed PTF Projects In Favor Of His Northern Zone- By Yoruba Body by EOS(m): 8:53pm On Mar 26, 2011
Onlytruth, you are just making noise. What we are clamoring for is credible election. Even Umoru Dikko is eligible to contest once INEC clear him. It is left for you as a single entity not to vote for Buhari, since you have discovered he is sectional and corrupt. But, you should know that only those with myopic reasoning can easily be deceive by your comments on Buhari.
Politics / Re: Governors Of 19 Nigerian States Under Buhari - Most Are Millionaires Now. by EOS(m): 7:27pm On Mar 25, 2011
Blink 182 or 187, you asked why Buhari is contesting. Every Nigerian, including you is eligible to contest once you are clear by INEC. It is left for you as a single entity to vote your candidate you like, since Buhari is not your candidate.
Politics / Re: Governors Of 19 Nigerian States Under Buhari - Most Are Millionaires Now. by EOS(m): 6:57pm On Mar 25, 2011
David Mark was not a Governor during Buhari regime, but Babangida's regime. Almost all the Govenors were Brigadier and mark was Lt. Col, not even Col. as at then.
Politics / Re: Governors Of 19 Nigerian States Under Buhari - Most Are Millionaires Now. by EOS(m): 6:47pm On Mar 25, 2011
This topic is meaningless. What has it to do with him, even if they billionaire? Enugu Ekwu, you are one of those people that will find it difficult to survive without corruption; because you want it to continue. So, you better start prepare to leave Nigeria to any neighboring countries where corruption will continue to be practiced. CORRUPTION must be eliminated from NIGERIA!
Politics / Re: Buhari, Ribadu, Shekarau Pull Out Of BON Debate by EOS(m): 4:03pm On Mar 24, 2011

Politics / Re: Gej Is Of Very Few Words, Calm, Cool, Calculative And Deliberative by EOS(m): 6:51am On Mar 01, 2011
In fact, NIGERIANS need a very strong minded candidate that discloses his intentions before been voted in.
Politics / Re: Gej Is Of Very Few Words, Calm, Cool, Calculative And Deliberative by EOS(m): 6:38am On Mar 01, 2011
Give him all the qualities of a good leader, he has no plans/intentions to tackle or stop CORRUPTION. He has been in power for 4 years now and the rate of corruption is increasing every day. We need a leader who is bold and courageous to stop CORRUPT PRACTICES. Yes, it can not only be reduced, but stop. It is very possible when we have determined and serious minded leader. It is no longer issue of voting for a party as it used to be again, but the candidate in question.
