You most be joking. Do you mean their airports and under grounds will fold up while they watch. Their factories, education sectors etc.
The Japanese economy is stronger but the U.K economy is one of the strongest economies in the world.
The same mistake you guys are making here was what Argentina made 30 years ago. You know the consequences.

The UK economy is based on over taxation of its citizens and exploitation of 3rd world countries, take that away and see how they'll crumble. The emergence of BRINCS will spell doom for the imperialism of the west. Like sam_ikenna said, if Nigeria gets its heart together, we are strong enough to eclipse the UK economy has shown by Brazil and India. IMHO massive industrialization in the east, an agricultural revolution in the north and the emergence of an ICT hub in the west and in the next 20yrs Nigeria will be a force to reckon with in the league of powerful nations.

Shareboyz: Can i get a virgin like me in Nigeria?smiley

every guy i ever talked wiv said he's had sex before. That makes me the only virgin guy in Nigeria.

There are 3 scenarios here;

1. You're very bored and looking for a way to make your miserable existence bearable,

2. You're a gay or

3. You're just plain dumb.

Wetin concern us with your level of sexual experience?

omega25red: dont women also want good looking men? There is no hypocrisy here. The girl is just a useless woman who is attempting to flaunt the money she didn't earn her self. i would just pick up my keys and ring and leave her with the bread

Oga comot here, fat pocket and goodlooking are like synonyms for MOST girls. Even though the story is a myth, I won't conclude she's a useless woman, might just be her temper.

Nigeria is dead broke at a time when oil prices are soaring. In just 2yrs this bloke has succeeded in running the country down with his daft statements and gross inaction while his cronies continue looting in a manner that's unprecedented in our history. I just hope the present Chief of Army Staff is not as weak as our president cos a coup is not too far away if things continue like this.

The day she forwarded a particular viral Blackberry message to me, I just concluded that she has below-average intelligence. The same applies to many people when it comes to these GSM scams, don't people think? MTN sells recharge cards to you, why would they be asking you to send it back to them. It is like saying Seun is asking Nairalanders to teach him how to use Nairaland- wouldn't that be madness and stupidity combined?

Don't even talk abt that BBM menace oo, sooooo frustrating, even those u expect to know better end up re-broadcasting the most ridiculous things. The problem with people is that they are too stupid to realise how stupid they are hence their penchant to fall for the most obvious of SCAMS.

You people calling what happened in the civil war a genocide is an insult to the victims in Rwanda and Bosnia. For God's sakes your people declared independence annexing parts of d State that weren't even ibo, what did you expect? Biafran Soldiers also committed attrocities during d war so stop playing this victim card like it wasn't ur coup leaders that started it all.

Everytime you people strike, u keep comparing ur take home pay to that of councillors, why don't u just quit medicine and go into politics? You selfish people have never gone on strike for the poor standard of facilities but for ur own pockets. 40% of u already have ur own mushroom clinics anyways, its d other 60% who followed the stupidity of the union leaders that I blame.

Politics / Re: 25 Years After Awo’s Death: How He Predicted Events Of Today Half A Century Ago by gidiMonsta(m): 6:25pm On May 07, 2012
manchy7531: A flawed and erroneous perception of Awo. This is not to denigrade his persona, but to paint a true picture and a realistic representation of Awo is as follows:

1. He was a tribal chieftain and could not see beyond his nose when it mattered the most for a short-term gain.

2. He was full of contempt and was distrustful of his comtemporaries, and also led the way in tribal politics (Carpet-crossing).

3. When Emeka Ojukwu who was young enough to be his own son, warned him of the impending doom. This same Awo jettisoned a brillant idea to free everybody from this shackle and bondage of a nation called Nigeria.

4. Awo was consumed with hate in thinking that the defeat of Igbos will advertently bring endless rewards to Yorubas by taking over from where the Igbos left off. But as history has shown us, such rewards never last long in history.

5. That singular act of betrayal from Pa Awo has forever and inadvertently placed a burden of guilt on the younger Yorubas, who will always be derided and stigmatized cameleons and a bunch that can't be trusted, weather deserved or not, only time will tale.

To be continued............Only time will tale!!!

STFU...all ur 5pts r based one ridiculous notion that Awo betrayed Ibos because he did not go along with ur silly secession plans, Awo did not betray anybody, stop casting aspersions on a dead just to justify the reason ur coup against the nation failed.

As for ur silly opinion of stigmatization; its only d ibos that live on d past, let's just move on leave all ds Biafra shi.t in d backwaters of history. We yorubas are progressive people and do not care for ur silly approval, all we want is regional governance so we can return to our path to greatness while ur pple keep shouting marginalization while ur foolish leaders rob u dry.

BTW: if all yorubas are cowards because AWO didn't support ur plan then so r ibos too since ZIK had d same opinion too.

Politics / Re: Boko Haram Lagos - Abuja Threat: Should Jonathan Appear On AIT? by gidiMonsta(m): 2:28pm On May 06, 2012
patriot2: What you are saying is silly, I can see you are a terrorist lover.
What you should know is that America never negociated with Alqaida (the terrorists), the talibans were a bunch of ruthless rulers in afghanistan who refused to hand over ben laden leading to the war. But the fact is that there is no american interest to protect in afghanistan, so the troops being stationed there is a misuse of money, hence america is trying to pull out without living too much chaos. So if there is any negociation then it would be about the fate of the afghanis and not that of the americans. In the light of all this why would you suggest we negociate our freedom with terrorists ? Are you one of them or are you planning to become one ?

STFU jor! Go and check FBI most wanted list and see if Omar(Taliban head) is not it. Israel released over 800 hamas prisoners just for one soldier Gilat Shalit, the not negotiating ish is subjective and not a rule u must adhere to. If ur own son was been held hostage by some goons in exchange for money will u quote dat nonsense not negotiating shi.t? How many more people should die b4 pple we come to our senses? Say what u may, me personally will vote for anything to stop d senseless killings of my brethren.
