Business / Dell Laptops At A Bargain by godsonadex: 3:17pm On May 20, 2011
Afternoon. I live in the UK and I deal in DELL Laptops but want to expand my distribution network to reach Nigeria.

If interested, you can specify what you want in the laptop e.g. RAM, Hard drive size, Processor speed and so on and any extras you want with the product e.g. flash drive, Internet Security e.t.c, I will get this built for you by DELL and will send it to my partner in Nigeria who you can pay in cash and get your laptop. So as you see there is no risk involved.

I can guarantee the price you will be getting it from me will be lower than the price you will get it from any store in Nigeria.

If interested, send me an email at gistwitmii@yahoo.co.uk leaving your name and phone number and I will call you ASAP to discuss your needs.

Have a wonderful afternoon.

Travel / Price Fixing By Ba And Virgin by godsonadex: 1:44pm On May 27, 2010
Yo folks, is it just me or are these two corporations fixing their prices so that there is practically no competition and hence almost making flights to Naija a monopoly market, what do you guys think considering they have been caught committing the same crime in the US so if they can do it there I am sure they are more than happy to orchestrate such stunts on flight to Nigeria!!!

Romance / Re: Am The One Doing The Calling by godsonadex: 3:52pm On May 13, 2008
vicade:

There was thia girl i was dating in nigeria. She never used to call. I send her credit and she still flashes. The closest she got to calling was sending texts and heavy flashing. I refused to call her for five days and she then called me and I told her i was broke which is why i could not call. All she could say was :JUST CALL ME BACK. I never did call her back and we broke up enventually

There is a girlfriend of mine, as long as she has credit she will call me when she is broke, she will go to call centre and call me. Whenever i send her credit she will use most of it to call me back and she also sends me credit. But it is like some girls are allergic to calling their bobos from call centres.

Your english is clearly not up to scratch, don't feel bad about that, tough luck

About this girl, I have one advice for you, dump her HARD because she is a CUNT and she should be treated so, I feel you have to develop some self respect for yourself and maybe consider changing the circle of friends you move with, they should be the ones giving you this advice not us.

Religion / Re: Are Churches Helping Poor Members Enough? by godsonadex: 1:05pm On May 12, 2008
Yes they are old alright, and rich!!! I am speaking based on known facts, these churches have millions of Naira stuck away in various accounts.
Religion / Are Churches Helping Poor Members Enough? by godsonadex: 12:33pm On May 12, 2008
I am a bit worried, I think the church has taken it's eyes 'off the ball', if I am wrong, I hope God forgives me. I am a naija guy but been in the UK for 5yrs now, I consider myself to be a christian but when I look at the situation in Naija, I get sad, reason is because the churches are accumulating wealth while their members are living in pure abject poverty, if I recall, in the bible, fellowship is about sharing and making sure your brother or sister is not wanting but of course these mega-churches can see that majority of their members are suffering but they are not helping them, rather, some pastors provoke these people to bring EVERYTHING they have and God will surprise them (but not through the church, oh no!). These churches are becoming enterprising, good, is this money helping it's members I say NOOO!!! These churches are erecting universities and the works, is it helping the common church member?? NOOOOO!!!

I know some very 'STRONG CHRISTIANS' will say if this people are poor, it must be because of their sins or because they can't be helped or that if they really are christians then they shouldn't be poor, I will say to those people to read their bible because in reality, not everyone can be rich and even if these people are sinners, does that give the church the right not to help them

Please guys tell me what you think about this and let me know if I am getting over the top. Cheers 4 reading. God bless.
Religion / Re: Must He Marry The Girl He Impregnated? by godsonadex: 12:18pm On May 12, 2008
Thanks so far guys, it's good to have different points of view but in reply to those that think he 'wants fresh orange', this is not the case, he just doesn't feel anything for the girl (lovewise) and he has never felt in the past so it's not a case of him decieving her to get in her pants. The girl knows he doesn't love her but she loves him. They have both agreed that come what may, they will be pals and take responsibilities for the baby so the baby is in good hands in terms of getting love, affection and financial care. In light of this info, can i get more views please.

Religion / Must He Marry The Girl He Impregnated? by godsonadex: 1:36pm On May 08, 2008
I want to get thoughts on this. I have a pal who is a christian, he had a baby with a girl but he has no love for the girl to warrant marriage, although he will be a good father to the lil baby, he does not want to marry this girl, is him not marrying this girl a sin according to the bible? Please no criticism, just want creative suggestions, this guy has been criticised enough!!!

AIMS CHILDREN INVESTMENT FUND
This product is targeted at tackling the hydra-headed problem of youth unemployment ravaging the economy. If the current trend continues , in a short while, as many experts have predicted, majority of our youths may well acquire their degrees and come and sit at home. The labour market is already over-flooded with job seekers with no equivalent openings. It calls for inward looking determination to create, rather than spend several years in the labour market seeking already created jobs. Our ACIA account therefore, seeks to plant a seed today that would become an initial capital outlay for self-employment project after graduation. If you deposit N 100,000 (one hundred thousand Naira only) now for your child or ward that is say one year old, by the time he would be graduating from the university or polytechnic in the next twenty years, your N 100,000 deposit today would have grown to about N19m (Nineteen Million Naira) at a 30% P/A average rate of return. This is how planning works; take long-term focus and pay a lower price. Don’t wait until situations are out of hand before you begin to adopt fire-brigade approach. This fund is then pulled out to set up a self-employment project for your child. Many graduates languishing in the labour market today could effectively manage productive business concerns if the opportunities were there. ACIA account is out to create such opportunities for your child at the time of his graduation.

I believe you work for this AIM company, what you have said is true to a novice but to a Finance professional, this is just half true. Why don't you mention the fact that 19million in 20yrs time your GRAND CALCULATION won't be worth 19million today, it's probably going to be worth 100,000 today at the rate the inflation in the damn country is going. I appreciate you giving suggestions but it would be nice to paint the whole story.

Business / Ever Thought Of Life After The Working Age? by godsonadex: 1:45pm On May 06, 2008
Nigerian folks, I know you worry about today and how to get by but have you ever thought of what position you will be when you retire? Life after work can be a tough one even if you have children to take care of you, there will be less finance available to you and your children may turn out to be the non-caring ones anyway so what are you going to do?

Ever thought of leaving something for that future? If you are brave, you can invest in stocks and if not you can invest in bonds and the rest. I am not in Nigeria but I am confident that there are loads of financial instruments to put money in, a little money put aside monthly can add up over 20-30-40yrs.

I hope this provokes your thought and if you have anything to add, please comment. Cheers.

Investment / Re: Bought Transcorp Shares With My School Fees: Mistake? by godsonadex: 1:37pm On May 06, 2008
I am a Finance guy so will talk to you professionally, or at least I will try. Stocks is like gambling, the prices go up and down but the general trend over a long period of time is up as proven historically, share price falling to 3Naira or whatever is a consequence of various causes, thisis where you make up your mind if you want to be bullish or bearish. Bullish take risks, bearish don't. If this investment is to make a quick profit, obviously this is not happening so you might want to sell the shares now and cut your loss, if it is a long term investment, just leave the money there and it is sure to go up and down again with an UPWARD TREND. If you want a sure investment, you should consider stashing your money into bonds but the return may be lower than that of shares, it's a risk-returns world. Good luck.

P.S. If you want to buy shares next time, you might want to look at previous trend of the shares before buying, if it's been rising then there are chances it will keep rising in the near future and vice-versa. be smart.
