Jobs/Vacancies / 3 Donts That Will Make You Fail A Job Interview by goldenceo(m): 9:40am On Jun 25, 2008 |
Friends, I just posted this article on my blog but I Thought of sending it to you in case it can help. ================================== So many people think an interview is all about the questions they ask them. What a lie? The interview starts the moment you walk into the interview room. In this article, I will be sharing with you 3 things you must totally AVOID during interviews. 1. Not wearing a smile - This might look foolish but wearing a smile makes you look confident and helps you to be more confident when answering the questions. 2. Not dressing well - When the issue of dressing comes up, most people especially the male folks think about wearing a suit and a tie. How limited? There is much to dressing than that. You must iron your clothes, polish your shoes, check out your hair and nails check your colour combination and moderate your make-up etc 3.Lack of a Good Knowledge Of the position and the company: Can you imagine what would happen if you were been interviewed at Zenith bank and you were asked the following questions and you couldn't answer: a.What is the name of the CBN governor? b.What is the name of the General manger of Zenith Bank? c.Whose picture is on the Ten Naira note? The truth is that small things like the ones above is what leads to failures a times in interviews. Therefore you must take time to master them all before going for the next interview. ======================================== Remember that the Job Getters' Package gives you elaborate information on all of the 3 points above. Get it at http://hotjobsecrets.com ======================= I hope this has helped. I wish you success. |

I think I have to add this. Getting your dream job very fast is dependent on some factors that involve you. For instance, if you can't create a very powerful CV or take the time to submit your applications to all the places I will show you, your chances are reduced. So, take these facts serious. I wish you success. ===== |

Hello friends, It is no longer news that the unemplyment rate in Nigeria is very high. I was on Uba's website yesterday and I was surprised to read that UBA employs 15,000 every year. You too can be a part of the FEW that most companies employ. But then, there is something you have to do: You need the knowledge. When I am talking about knowledge, I am not talking about people who come to forums like this to post the articles they copied from some other sites. I have been working on Job Issues for the past 3 years so I know what I am saying. As a result, I have prepared a straight to the point FREE Short PDF report for people who are interested in becoming part of the lucky FEW who get the jobs. If you are interested, simply send an email to me at toyin@hotjobsecrets.com with the subject "FREE JOB REPORT" I will send you the report as soon as I get your mail. Please, do not post your email addresses here so that scammers will not pick it up to use. I wish you success. |

Business / Re: What Is A Domiciliary Account? by goldenceo(m): 12:48pm On Mar 29, 2008 |
Hi friends, I have read a lot of things above and I am afraid to say most of them are merely crap. Here is a powerful information below from an expert. Follow it and get your dormicilary account opened easily. ============================================ Many of you have complained about not being able to open a domicilliary account(and this is needed to cash your Google Adsense checks). Now,it's pretty easy.I have a dorm account with GTBank,so,that's the only bank I can authoritatively talk about. But,some of my students have talked about successfully opening dorm accounts with FCMB,UBA and First Bank,so,you may want to try them. As per GTBank, the fastest way to go about this is to open a current account with N5000.They will request for the following: *your National ID card,Passport or Driver's License *current NEPA bill, you can get this from your landlord *1 picture *2 referees who have current account in any Nigerian bank *as well as N5k minimum Once you successfully open the current account, just ask them for the forms to open a dorm account.Remember to choose all denominations, not just dollars. You don't want to limit yourself,do you? In the past,it was difficult to get an individual dorm account. Not so anymore.Just go out there and get yourself a dorm account to assist your online ventures. All the best. By Iyabo Oyawale. Career / Is Your Salary Enough For You? by goldenceo(m): 12:50pm On Mar 15, 2008 |
Friends, I want us to discuss something very important: This is one of the reasons why I stopped working for other people especially the government. They are always paying low wages. I even pity the people in Lagos the most. Most of them spend about 50% of the so-called salary on transportation. How would they get the money to pay for a new car, house or other things? And worst still, they do not even have the time and capital to go and start their own business. Is this happening to you? If it is, why don't you let's discuss it here. And to others who are not suffering from this same problem, let's hear what you have to offer. We shall all succeed. Yours, Oluwatoyin |
Jobs/Vacancies / Do You Want To Get A Job In Nigeria And Earn Over N900,000 Monthly by goldenceo(m): 1:06pm On Nov 23, 2007 |
I was totally amazed recently when I discovered that there are people in Nigeria despite the unemployment "saga" who still earn over N300,000 per month. (And excuse me,I am not talking about M.Ds or presidents of Big Corporations.) I am talking about young employees of ages between 26-35 I am sorry that I won't be able to reveal their identity here for security reasons. The latese one I heard was of a guy who earns N930,000 monthly. You want to know the difference between him and you?Simple. He has got rare skills and so he is highly sought after. The problem I am having with a lot of Nigerians is that they stop learning after graduation. For instance, someone who studied accounting in the university has forgotten that he has to compete with other accounting graduates from other universities and polytechnics. So,how do you make yourself unique? By going the extra mile. Please I am not talking about ordinary masters degree with no skills. I am talking about you becoming a rare expert in your field. Today, the likes of Beckam,John Terry etc are the highest paid footballers in the world. Why? Because these guys are highly skillful and they took time to develop themselves. I promise you that if you can take the time to really work on youself,it would be companies running after you and not you running after them because among the other 10,000 job seekers in your field, you are the only one with a difference(positive) How do you get these rare skills? 1.Go for valuable professional courses.-I weep for those who go for these courses just to get the certificates.Time will always tell.Look for the ones relevant to you and apply for them. E.g CISCO,ICAN,CCSE etc. 2.Attend Related seminars and workshops 3.Get books,Videos,Audios on your field and study. 4.Do personal development. All these are done easily and you will be amazed at the results. I wish you success. |

Career / A Cover Letter Secret That Guarantees You Will Get More Job Interviews by goldenceo(m): 4:07pm On Nov 12, 2007 |
Friends, I believe this article will greatly help you. A cover letter sent along with your resume will greatly increase your chances of getting an interview. The job market is very competitive and you want to give yourself every advantage possible in your efforts to land your dream job. There is one little known secret that will almost guarantee you getting a first interview. Think about all these direct sales letters you have read over the years. These are produced by some of the most highly paid writers in the world. A sales letter can make or break a direct sales campaign, so companies are prepared to pay large fees to competent copywriters. A good way to be successful in life is to copy people who are already successful. So when you write your cover letter, why not use one of the favourite tricks copywriters use to grab the attention of the letter reader. Have you guessed what the secret is yet? It is as simple as adding a P.S. or Post Script, after you signature. Why is this tactic so powerful? No doubt you have noticed a number of occasions when you have opened a letter, looked to see who sent it, and then gone straight to the bottom to read the P.S. This is because we have become conditioned to act like that. Copywriters, have for years, been using a P.S. at the end of a letter to get people to take action. The best way for you to take advantage of this secret in your cover letter, is to construct a really strong P.S. that asks for an opportunity to be interviewed, and gives contact details. If you do this, you will have a considerable advantage over the other applicants for the position. When a hirer has to look through hundreds of cover letters and resumes, anything that makes their life easier is going to reflect well on the applicant who uses it. Because so few people think to use this little secret in their cover letters, anyone who does, is likely to be viewed in a favourable light. A well constructed cover letter can be the key to opening the door to lots of job interviews. Make sure when you write your P.S. you keep it brief and concise. Follow the example of the professional copywriters and make it a call to action. P.S. Job hunting can be very frustrating. Use this one little known secret on your cover letter and watch your success rate at landing interviews climb. Sandy is a highly experienced recruiter, interviewer and trainer. He has lectured to undergraduate students on the skills required to obtain their ideal position. Career / Are You Making This Mistake On Interview? by goldenceo(m): 3:59pm On Nov 12, 2007 |
This should help. ======================================= Being unprepared for an interview ranks as number one in the TOP 50 Recruiter Turn-Off's and is a sure fire way to kissing goodbye a potentially fantastic job offer. Interview preparation is a critical stage in the job hunting cycle. The quickest way to have an interview terminated is to give basic, one word, monosyllabic answers. If your answer to an interview question begins with "Ummmm," is followed by along pause and then another "Um," it doesn't say much for your competency, does it? To display a lack of preparation for an interview is the quickest way to have your application rejected - regardless of how great your qualifications and professional experience. Don't Be Scared! Be Prepared! Nowadays employers often ask questions designed to discover how you would deal with certain situations and how you would behave. Companies want to know about your abilities and track record, not just your knowledge and experience. Recruiters love to ask the question : What are your weaknesses? This is one of the most useless questions anyone could ever ask you. As if anyone is going to admit to being extremely lazy and will only do the bare minimum to get by so they get to hang on to their jobs or that they are always late etc, etc, etc. I am not sure why people still ask it as it is a joke of a question but EVERY interviewer LOVES to ask it. Your answer should be clear, concise and have a positive spin. Questions will fall into one of three main categories: factual questions, philosophical questions, and testing questions. Each category of question requires a different sort of answer. Factual questions require verifiable information about something you've done. Philosophical questions explore your attitudes about business. Testing questions are designed to assess your knowledge or skill. Go with the flow. Be prepared to change gears at any time. Anything can happen during an interview. Just as you settle in to answering a series of factual questions (Where did you work? What was your typing speed? How much many people did you supervise?), an interviewer can try to throw you a curve ball by asking you a philosophical question. Something to keep in mind: tricky questions are not designed to deliberately trip you up. The goal of a complicated question is to give you a chance to shine, to think on your feet, and craft a clear, concise response. The best way to be prepared for interview is think of a questions that will be most likely be asked at the interview, write out your answers and go through them with someone. Do a rehearsal interview, this is great for ironing out any glitches and will have you more confident at your interview. Happy Job Hunting. www.improveology.com/securethatjob |
