Good One,and very very sad.I once had Malaria symptoms and i went to the hospital very early in the morning.I was not attended to until evening and along the 'lane' i got exhausted and fainted, and thank God i didn't die! That is Nigeria for you,and my condolence goes to the family.Only God can save us from this mess, |

Guys please why did the Custom Chief change his name from Alhaji Abdullahi Inde to Alhaji Ahmed Dikko while still in office? Is it a ploy to cover for his 'dirty' past that in a sane society he would by now be rotting in jial for life.Gej is too weak, why can't this guy be prosecuted?Nigeria can never move with non-chalancy like these! |

Cheif Awolowo could never have won the 1979 election because he is a core Tribalist and it was pay back time for him for his infamous role of trying to keep the Igbo people down which he and his kingsmen can never ever succeed. How on earth would he have thought of been the Nigerian president at least he once asserted that "Nigeria is a mere geographical expression" yet he wanted to be president ! President koo, gomina nee. |

I am from Abia State, and alot of times i cry as to how our God's own state is not a shadow of the past. The governor definately lacks the mental well-being to run a modern state like Abia, and who would blame him when he rigged his way in.Build up the decadency in Aba to a world class standard i thought Aba is the Japan of Africa? Get a public-private mix and build a refinery given the proximity of Abia to oil.Is it that our rulers are bereft of ideas or what?Sometimes i cannot decipher whether some of them cannot think straight or just refuse to think at all.Give me Abia and in four years other states would go green with envy. The human resources and the zeal to deliver is abundant in Abia,i know what im talking about,i once did a local study on the industrialization of Abia and the potentials are over enormous.I rest my case. |

one of the underlying role of government in a modern day economy is improvement of market outcomes particularly when there appears to be market failure in sight. That essential entails creating the requisite 'environment' to deep her economic policies that is tailored along her set objectives all geared towards acheiving the set goals with respect to the economy at large. I have critically analysed Sanusi Lamido's economic drives and methinks he really needs to undertsnad the role of a central bank governor is central and essesntial he is expected to harness his roles around formulating economic policies aimed at booating the economic propensities in the right direction. All of these varied implementation appears a duplicity of governmental role since the same CBN Governor practiced and preached the CBN intervention funds for the agric sector and other sector he felt required these funds all geared towards adding qualitative drive to the economic rank and file. I would like to ask the CBN Governor what has happened to NEEDS under his predecessor and why his not adding values to NEEDS,since his major argument for the sharia banking is centered around Soludo's programme. Strong Economic wills and not sentiments are the drivers of modern economies. I rest my case , |

Mtn i over-detest,i once joked with m brother that if i had my way i would burn down all the Mtn Base-station In Nigeria. All Mtn brings to once pocket is sorrow, tears and blood.I over love Etisalat they kinda put their customer first. At current levels if Mtn goes out of the Nigerian Market there have done so fine given the fact that they broke even almost immeidiately they started work in Nigeria, and really they don't give a hoot. The Government of the day needs to be proactive to improve the market outcomes in these regards.I have not loaded more than N2,000.00 CREDIT on my Mtn line this year and nothing good can ever come out of those highway robbers network , |

Indeed It is Sai Buhari all the way.Buhari is more issue driven and his focal point is quite ecclectic to say the least .He style of governace as revealed in his manifesto is quite commendable.PDP would need more than 'GoodLuck' to retain power at the centre.12 years and what do they have to show for it? Nigeria as a body polity has gone beyond the days of mundane and short-sighted rulership. We need qualitative change and im afriad to say that Buhari is trusted and tested, and i know he would deliver.I'm not a northern but we need a structured and self driven leadership who would take Nigeria to the next level.I'm particularly mift as to how a whooping $30 Billion excess crude oil account was wated by these 'empty' nuts in PDP.How on earth and what exactly do they have to offer apart from sorrow, tears and blood ? |

With due respect,Etisalat bussiness model is indeed a phenomenal !Sentiments apart when Etisalat came on board i for one thought that in six month they would have shut down. The reverse is indeed what we have today. With over 10 million subscription base and still growing. As an Economist i carefully understudied there bussiness model which essentially is centered around putting people first.i enjoy browsing free unlike mtn that has a knife cutting approach with all the wrongs of capitalism.Obviously with stiffer mtn's profit margin would come falling. Thanks to Globacoms, and airtel . |

I am really ashamed being a Nigeria, 60,000 imported British what ? Its terribly barbaric and in saner clime Akunyili would no have the gusto to insult the intelligence of the Nigerian people.I don't know why a local company cannot be given the production order for such a project that requires no technical competence!!!!!!!!!!!!Its really absurd to the extreme,no wonder a Nigerian in these jet age is been trapped dead just because he wants to leave Nigeria for greener pasture.GEJ i'm not impressed you can bet,and minus one vote for you,you can bet , Rubbish , |

If you ask me,the world has evolved and the fact that you studied a particular course does not exactly mean you be 'monolithic' in your approach. The university Education is supposed to open up the 'eye' of your mind such that you could virtually do anything you lay your hands upon .Methinks you should think outside the box and be more proactive and look beyond your course of study .With prayer and fervent faith in God all things are possible , |

Dapolam,i have really taken time to go around your message, and even though im really impressed,i hope its not another round of so so talk, and no action.I was at the great Citadel of learning ,UI when you were around, and no doubts most of the talks, were indeed 'side-talks' with no locus standi .I also do have a crave for 'qualitative' politics and no doubts if you can put to actions all your 'programs' then the wind of change 'cometh'. Better days ahead while we work together to advance the course of humanity in these part of the world . |

Come to think of it,what does that TUC guys meant when he said Nigerians need to be educated on Deregulation?Methinks some stupid chaps just sit down and begin to apportion to themselves what is not.Deregulation or not,all we want is not hike in pump price if fuel, chikena. |

I strongly do believe that it is doable given the huge and untapped resources that abound, yet the major challenge remains how to steer these potentials into concrete economic reality which is within our reach if only we could muster the expected political will ![]() |
