The second time, i met a crowd at the machine, i was so scared of embarrassing myself so i still opted for the queue. The 3rd tym, i decided that i must use the card. There were a lot of people. When it got to my turn, i was sweatin like a HE goat. As iintert the card, my mind de beat like sunami. Some one just came to announce that there was no money in the ATM. I stayed back when everybody had left the and i took tym to study the machine. Since that day, it has been ATM. Who no like clean Note ![]() |

HAppy to know that People like you either viwe this site or have your publication posted on it. As an "old wig" , i would rather you concentrated on the issue of reforming the the legal profession. For instance, why do we many one-man chambers in Nigeria? Why do "old wigs" find it hard to employ fresh graduates feom law school? What has happened to professionalism and specialisation? I wat to know because i am a lawyer and i am affected!!! |

Hey! is that legal in ur location? If it's no longer acceptable in Africa where parents are known to instill discipline with rod, it should not be in any other part of the world. There are better ways of correcting kids these days. Bytheway, if you know any kids whose parents still beat them, you can cantact me and we will sue their ass off, cos i am a lawyer.Lol |

Guess I heard som1 Say that there are too many lawyers in Nigeria. That is actually far from the truth. Nigeria since 1963 till date has produced only 73,000 lawyers, compared to U.S that has a lawyer population of 1.2 million. Their total population is just about 250 million. The reasons for the seeming congestion of Nigerian legal system are two-fold (1) Nigeian lawyers have not understood the imortance of partnership and specialisation to practice. (2) The attitude of "old wigs" to the "new wigs". The truth is that wen man don waka the whole street looking for job,he may be forced to look for the next available space, whether office or kiosk and start his own. Afterall, man must wack, whether through charge and bail or otherwise. The legal practitioners need a change of attitude!!! |

hey!!! I thoght i was the only lawyer who has got his ass stuck at home until i read from you. Though I aws called to the Nigerian Bar in November, 2006, I have traversed the whole of lagos Island looking for jobs with my 2:2 in both law school and university, all to no avail. Although there are about 8 law firms on every street in lagos, there are still a lot of unemployed lawyers. Men, after a long and unsuccessful search, i decided to specialize further in the area of intellectual property law. I hope that will pay off in the long run, although my eyes are still on the streets |
