Family / Re: Should American Wife Have To Make Change Before Going To Nigeria? by Inky: 5:24pm On Sep 01, 2009
The woman must like it to change and she shouldn´t only change because of him because today he want her to change this and tomorrow again something else. He started a relation with her the way she was, he loved her the way she was why now changing the person you always liked the way she was?
Family / Re: Should American Wife Have To Make Change Before Going To Nigeria? by Inky: 5:21pm On Sep 01, 2009
I also believe that the problem is not only the weight, I think that the weight isn´t even the big issue. For sure there´s more behind it and the best think is to find that out.
Family / Re: Should American Wife Have To Make Change Before Going To Nigeria? by Inky: 5:13pm On Sep 01, 2009
He liked you the way you was, he started moving with you the way you are so why now changing? believe me, if he want you to change by all means it doesn´t work out. he can´t change you, you only can change yourself but with no force from him.

Today is my lucky day because my mother received a email from Seun and she said to me that my father and his great wife is looking for me. I was not allowed to visit the forum anymore from my mother because nobody believed my story but thank God the the wife from my father believed me. Yes my dad called me amyboy when I was little and he showd a picture from me and my sister as well.

I send them also two pictures from me and I will also show them here.

Well, as you can see did I really not lie; i only looked for my dad.

Bey to everybody, emeka

Oh my God am I not allowed to make a mistake? We went to Nigeria in 1993 and in 1997 he left us.
We didn´t go to Nigeria in 2003 no that´s true. I am very happy that somebody noticed my mistake but it seems to me that it is very painfull for some people here on the forum that I am looking for my dad? controlling on mistakes. No people I am not lying, I am saying the truth and on that picture you can see me and my dad.

So, I am sorry that I wrote 2003 because that was really a mistake but if nobody wants to believe me than is that ok.

PL+C:

You claimed your dad snapped the pic with you at the Airport Hotel? Who told you it was airport Hotel? Maybe, the name was written at the back of the pic or your mum told you that. You may replied! However, was your mum also with him when he came to Nigeria with you? If yes, your mum must have visited your father's relatives or friends in Nigeria.

Finally, I'm too old to believe your story. Forget those craps!

Ok, I will explain it again. In 2003 we went to Nigeria; my mother, my dad en myself. We stayed in the Airport Hotel. And yes, we have seen here family from my dad, even his own father and they lived in Lagos but my mother doesn´t know the place exact. It was just about 15 minutes walking from the hotel.
And I didn´t write that my dad snapped the picture!!! I am in the water with my dad and my mother snapped the picture, but anyway. If I say now something everybody will say again that I don´t have any respect wink

After my dad left us my mother didn´t have any contact anymore with his family or friends and later we also moved. if she still had close contact I would never ask here if somebody knows my dad!!!

But ok, you people believe that I am making up stories that´s ok. It´s a pity but anyway. I still want to thank everybody for serieous thinking with me and for the others I feel sorry.

Yes, I am going to follow the advice from this people. I want to thank everybody for helping me and if I found my dad I will let you know.
If somebody knows where my dad is than please say to him that Emeka and EziNne are looking for him.
Family / Re: I Am Looking For My Dad: Emeka Kanezi by Inky: 7:52am On Apr 16, 2008
Well, I did my best. Everybody here is allowed to insult me because I am a 16 year old person but I am not allowed to say anything back? I am not going to accept that some on this forum like to say everything they wish; than I also do. I learned to have respect for everybody but how can I have respect for somebody whom doesn´t have it for me? Those whom really want to help me will understand me.
Let also my mother out of this, she gave me a great youth and she still does and she teached me a lot in my life.

Now I don´t know anymore where to look for my dad, some say he´s a Ghanian, some say he´s not a Igbo honestly I am confused now. It means that I am half Dutch an half ?

brownbonno:

Boy i can understand your feelings.I am sure u can locate your father, as u are aware 1997 is long time.Surely these lead will help-
1.Go to Antwerp there is particular night club/bar owned by a Nigerian,i am sure they can help you because they both(husband/wife)lived in Holland before relocating to Belgium.Just ask any African around the Antwerp Train station where u can find African Night clubs(100m from the train station.
2.Go to Achen(Germany border town with Heerlen there is community of old Nigeria Immigrants there, they may also know him.
he Antwerp lead will be the best bet(usually Thursday-saturday night)
Wish u the best.
I am sure your dad got his passport from either of the below embassy, they may as well tell you of his place of birth in Nigeria.
http://www.nigerianembassy.org/mission/belgium.shtml
http://www.nigerianembassy.nl/

Je hoeft niet te bang zijn.Je bent ok Nigerianen, bel de embassade voor meer informatie over je vader. You moet sterk zijn,je ben en man.
Stuur mijn emailje als je personlijk vraag heb.Groetjes

Thank you sir, but I have a question. My dad is not registered with Emeka Kanezi in Holland he used the name Paul Matamba and in Belgium he used the name Paul Francis , do you think that the embassy will find his name than? Because my father claimed to be a Liberian to get his papers but he said always that he was Nigerian.
Long time ago my mother went sometimes to a club in Antwerp together with my dad called Shooby? The problem is that I am not allowed from my mother to go to a club on saturday night; she find me to young for it. So maybe I better try the embassy?

nwando:

This Emeka should be very proud of such an intelligent son.
I wish I could find him for you @ little Emeka.
do you know what Emeka even means ?
The full name is Chukwuemeka meaning God has done great things
Your sisters name Ezinne means good mother
what beautiful names.

Thank you very much for this answer.
Yes I knew the meaning from my name and my sisters name, my mother told us. On my id card is standing the name Emeka but I hope that I can also say Chukwuemeka because I like that a lot. My mother says that I can not use that name because it´s not registrered.

@ Inky
I believe Nwando had given u some leads. It is not much but it is a start and u never know what might turn up. I really hope You find him.

However, the question is "And then what?

And if u are sure of your story, You can also send the pictures to prolly the NTA or something. I don't exactly know the procedure but I believe somebody on this forum might know.

And don't be dissapointed if peeps here doubt your story. Nigerians can come up with a whole lot of crazy stuff and the first thing u going to learn as a Nigerian is that everybody is guilty until proven innocent. So it is nothing personal.

All said, this forum boasts of some formidable personalities in all works of life and I believe You can get some help here.

I want to ask my dad a lot of thing because he left us so fast and we never heard anything of him or saw him again. My sister can´t even remember him anymore and she also want to see her daad or at least hear how he´s doing.

I know that a lot of strange and stupid people are on this forum but reading is really very difficult for a lot of them or "understanding reading". In stead of that they start giving stupid answers they better could asked me to explain it once more again I think.

but anyway, thank you for your advice.

@ Poster.
I believe we need your help to help you. Give us some of the info your mum kept for you two it will go a long way in helping us find your dad.
Again you wrote earlier that your name is Emeka Kenazi but in you second post you wrote about Matamba again. Which of them two is your surname?.

Who knows Nwando might be your step mother lol     How old is Ezinne   what a good name!!! just kidding

Have you tried to locate your two uncles in Europe(London and Germany).

Well, reading is not your strongest side or?
I will help you: I wrote that my fathers name is Emeka Kanezi his REAL name. But in Holland he uses the name Paul Matamba and when I was born he gave us the name Emeka Matamba because this name Matamba stood also on his paper to stay in Holland.

Oef, that´s difficult for you or but for smart people very simpel,

And by the way: don´t say anything bad about my sister please!!!

My father lived before in Heerlen (Nederland) till 18 februari 1997 and then he moved to, as far as we know, Antwerp. But after that we don´t know because we never heard anything of him again.

I also understand that everybody likes to talk but I don´t like it when people claim me to lie.

To be honest my mother doesn´t know any of his friends anymore. The moment that my dad left us she never contacted any of this people again. I am not allowed to go to Antwerp by myself to look for my dad and my mother doesn´t want to go with me and my sister is also to young (13 now) cry
My dad didn´t have papers; he was illegal in the country. The time that he was with my mother he had permission to stay but when he left dat finished.

@spikedcylinder

Just because he claims not be a native english speaker does not mean he would say things like 'half cast' and 'When he left us I was almost 5 years and my little sister was going the next day to 2 years'. These are typical errors Nigerians make. I belong to forums all over the net and I meet non-english speakers. Every Non-english speaker makes errors based on their native language.

This fellow makes no simple errors in his tenses which is prevelant amongst European speakers of English rather, he makes grammatical errors usually committed by Nigerians. This, as far as I'm concerned is hogwash!

@poster
Like I said earlier, Start a new thread with something more clever.

I feel sorry for you that you really believe that I am a Nigerian. Poor you, have you ever been out of Nigeria? believe me in one thing: I am not such a stupid person like you are!!! so if you can´t help me than don´t reply answers on this topic please. I might be 16 years old but don´t claim me to be somebody whom can´t say the truth.
I let that for people like you.

For the people whom want to help me:
My father entered Holland without papers. But because of the fact that he also asked for papers in Belgium he couldn´t get no papers in nederland. Ok, a complicated story but in Nederland my dad used the name Paul Matamba and claimed to be an Liberian.
His real name is Emeka Kanezi and his nationality is Nigerian. His fathers name is Francis Kanezi and his mother died.
Family / Re: I Am Looking For My Dad: Emeka Kanezi by Inky: 4:33pm On Apr 15, 2008
The family from my dad lives in Lagos and one uncle in London.
He had also one brother called Charles whom lived in Frankfurt, Germany.

The mother from my dad died long time ago even before I was born. When I was born <<snip>>, my father used the name Matamba and that is also the family name me and my sister EziNne are using.
My parents are not married and they lived in Zuid Limburg, Nederland.

My mother is now 39 years old and my father said that he was born on 2-10-1963?
Family / Re: I Am Looking For My Dad: Emeka Kanezi by Inky: 4:16pm On Apr 15, 2008
First I want to thank everybody whom believs that I am sobody whom doesn´t tell the truth.
I am born and raised till my 13the year in The Netherlands and then we moved to Belgium. In the Netherlands I never studied English on the school and since I am on college I learned it since last year. So please, give me a chance to learn to write it good.

The second laguage in Belgium is, by the way: French and not english.

So what does it mean how I write; I was only asking for help but even this I can not get from here.

And yes I am halfcast because my mother always called us like that and so what? is that bad?
I must say that I am half Nigerian and half Dutch, that would be better? I am sorry than.

And no, I am not living in Nigeria I am living in Belgium.

I am sorry for all the people whom believes that I am in Nigeria now or that I lie.
Thank anyway and greeting from Emeka.

[b]hello everybody.

I am a half-cast boy and my dad is Nigerian but I heve never seen him again or heard from him since 1997. When he left us I was almost 5 years and my little sister was going the next day to 2 years.

He never sent us a postcard, letter or telephone call. He completely forgot about us although I was his first child and my parents named me like him: Emeka.

My mother told us that he went to Belgium. She never showed hate towards him because she always said "where two people separate do also two people have faults"

I am now, together whit my sister EziNne looking for my dad. I just want to know where he's living and if we have more half brothers and half sisters wink because when I was in my hometown I found out that he was also looking for us but we moved to an other country as well.

My dad used some different names and when he meet my mother he was also living in Belgium, in Herentals. My mother kept a lot of important information for us so that it would be easier for us to find him.

The real name from my dad is Emeka Kanezi and he's a Igbo. grin

Does somebody know where my dad is and if he's doing well? Thank you, Emeka and EziNne.

Hello, I use the account from my mother so that´s why her name is standing in the avatar wink

I´m half Nigerian because my dad is a Igbo and my mother is Dutch. My parents separated when I was 5 years old and my sister only 2 years. I´ve been several times in Nigeria and I can speek pitching english because my mother never pushed the Nigerian culture out of oure lifes. My mother can also speak a little Igbo and pitching english like a african woman; she even cookes sometimes garry and stew wink
But still I feel more Dutch than Nigerian, maybe because my dad left us and he never contacted us again?. My mother suffered a lot because she had to take care of us and that was not easy. My name tells everybody that I am a Nigerian but I am not really proud to be a Nigerian, than I have to be proud of all what my father did? and he only let us suffer embarassed
