The bitter truth is: Proofreading and editing is highly competitive on Fiverr and you can hardly make headway with only that gig as a Nigerian seller.

I beg to differ, I've gigs on proofreading and editing on fiverr, I'm also new and above all, I use a Nigerian acc yet I just recieved my level 1 batch yesterday, after making 10 sales with 7 five star reviews. I know the niche is saturated but one can still make it there if u r gud!

Pls advice is needed here, a narcissistic buyer who wanted to cheat me but I refused then in retaliation, she slammed me with a one star negative review, claiming that I delivered 683 words instead of 3000, when I actually sent her over 2800 words with the promise to deliver the balance within 24 hours yet she wouldnt bulge. Now my 100% positive rating from 7 previous buyers crashed to 69% & automatically I was barred from using buyer request page which I heavily rely on as a new seller on Fiverr. firstly that road does not lead to enyimba stadium. secondly that road doesn't lead to the residential 10%of the entire population. thirdly that place is around the outskirts of the city. fourthly the road is not the doing of abia state govt because it is a federal road and the state government has rehabilitate it up to three times but it spoil after sometimes because of poor work,the federal government just needs to spend quality money and resources to repair the road.

Owerri & Ibadan should be removed from that list immediately. I live in Owerri & I have been to Ibadan. In the former pidgin is only widely spoken in the higher institutions that dot the city while in the streets, markets or offices, it is strictly English or Igbo at the ratio 30/70. Yoruba is predominantly spoken in Ibadan, whether in the streets, markets or offices! I had a hard time communicating with the locals when I went there. They always think that everybody knows yoruba & many cant speak either English or pidgin!
