Agriculture / Growing Apples, Cherries, Figs, etc In Nigeria by Jellywhale: 3:27pm On Apr 26, 2022 |
Hello, Let me go straight to the point. Over the years people have been skeptical about growing apples and the so called impossible fruits in Nigeria. The weather is too hot, Nigeria soil is bad for them, we've tried and failed. Well you've tried and failed is not equivalent to impossibility. Just because you've tried and failed and people you know have tried and failed doesn't mean it's not possible. There is a technicality you apply to make these things grow. For example, apples can be grown using tissue culture then you can graft the one (variety) you want on them. You can grow grapes from cuttings. Whichever way you discover is best for your state weather. People have been growing apples even as far as owing orchards in the very same country others think it's impossible to grow. Anyway we sell kiwi, apple, grape, strawberry, cherry, fig, pomegranate seedlings etc. Call if you are interested. We have the wambugu apple, isreali Anna and Turkish apple. The prices of these things are ridiculous at the market. Do you know the price of one pomegranate fruit is so expensive at ShopRite as high as 5k?!!!. Please contact us if you are interested

Good evening Landers. Before I start, I would like to thank God for life, and thank Jesus Christ my personal Lord and saviour. My special thanks goes to Segun for creating this platform and his minions the mods.. especially lala the president of snake club international. Dominique and the rest who help in pushing nonsense topics to front page these days (David news, Regina Daniels). To the topic....are you aware that some people have the face of an angel and even when they are guilty of heinous crimes you would deem them not guilty?. These are people who are the most manipulative, and some turn to serial killers and sadomasochistics. While some people just have guilty faces. People just assume from world goes that they are guilty of everything bad. Even when most are actually angels. If you are aware share your experience about someone with an innocent face that got away with a crime. Thank you... |

Celebrities / If You've Ever Been Chased By A Local Dog In Your Neighbourhood Come And Give Ex by Jellywhale: 5:59pm On Nov 06, 2021 |
Hey nairalanders. Omo dogs can be fun to have around but not those area dogs that are looking for people to chase around. Let me share my own story. In my area, almost everyone own a dog. But there's this particular house close to mine without a fence that has 6 local dogs that were never on leash. When the day is hot those dogs just form a pack and stay in one place. Children coming back from school always get chased. I've had more than two experiences with those area dogs. They chased me to the gate of my house, I was panting and shouting. I thought I was going to dig. Mom for the first time in my life I ran like usain bolt. When I reached my house gate. It was locked so I jumped fence because the y followed me there. The rest was history Well, that was almost seven years ago, those ones have ended up as dogmasin. If you're a plateau person you'll get. Please come and share your own experience. |
Crime / Sharp Daggers Of A Short Life by Jellywhale: 11:00pm On Oct 16, 2021 |
This happened not too long ago at my distant relatives place. A young boy who got orphaned not too long ago was living with just his mom and two siblings. One day two of his friends came to his home and asked his mom if he could go "play ball with them". His mom said yes and off he went. Toward evening his mom sent his other siblings to go look for him. They could not find him. She went herself, she involved the neighbourhood and asked the boys that came to call him. All they said was, " when we finished playing everyone went home". His mom went to look for him till 12am. The following day, some people said they found him by the river. They asked those two friends and they said " he went fishing after they had finished playing the ball". They boys body was found and buried.. Be wise with your kids, never let them play in the neighbourhood. That was how that brilliant young boy lost his life. I hope he finds justice. |
Romance / Fleeing From A One Sided Relationship by Jellywhale: 12:22pm On Oct 02, 2021 |
Most people these days don't realise they are in a one sided relationship till its too late and they are handed a red card. Is it easy to tell you are in one or you're so love coated and blinded till you fall into an everlasting pit of shame. Before you get into a relationship if you really want to be in one, always trust your instincts. Pray about it, God cannot finish what he didn't start. Use your head not heart because you can never trust your heart. Make sure you watch your steps and ask the did person direct questions to know where you stand. You might be the only one aware of being in that relationship. I'm your favourite love doctor hihihi For more tips check the link below https://stoiccreature..com/2021/10/fleeing-from-one-sided-relationship.html |

Romance / Sweet Apple Love by Jellywhale: 7:34pm On Sep 26, 2021 |
To find love these days seem almost impossible. The love of Christ always proves supreme. But we often go looking for love in the wrong places and end up broken. Make Oona hear my short love story. During my early years of development,i would peep through my neighbors gate when they open their gate just to see the fine boys living there. Their parents made sure they never went out and once it was long vacation, they left the country. I wanted to know them bad enough. One day, their mother finally decided to organize a birthday party for one of them. She invited my mother and she wanted to go. I begged her and she let me follow. Their house was much bigger than ours and there were so many fancy cars parked inside the house. The house was full. They had so many fruit trees planted inside their compound. I've only seen their compounds when their car was leaving the compound. The experience of being inside the house was good. A house that was twice what mine was. The birthday celebrant was on top the stage built in front of the compound. It was love at first sight. I used to see them when they passed but this close, brown skin boy.. Hihihi. After the happy birthday song he left the place and went to inside the house. I wanted to know him so I followed him inside to pretending the rice they were sharing did not reach me. Someone directed me to their kitchen where they were sharing food. As I entered, I saw all the brothers with the birthday boy. I was happy inside, all of them fine die. They were discussing before I entered. They stopped when they saw me. I gathered courage and lied that I wanted to collect food for my younger sister. Long story cut. I managed to collect number from one of them. But the one I was most interested in was the birthday boy whose name of "Anderson ". From that day on I managed to find ways to visit them again. On One of my visit I met only Anderson at home. He was outside, we greeted and began to exchange numbers, he told me about some of his hobbies. From there I learnt he was into gardening and showed me his mink garden his mom made for him. The garden was beautiful, he had the most doubtful plants there, he had strawberries, fig, grapes, apples, lime, pomegranates and thymes. It really surprised me, to find someone that loves gardening and to find apples or all these oyibo fruits growing in Nigeria even close to my house. I asked him how he planted them, he laughed and told me he would tell me in time. Going home from there I google to find out how possible it was to plant apples in Nigeria, the articles and threads I read didn't show me much. I fell in love. Naso love Choo my head so tey I con break up with my then boyfriend. When I go to school I couldn't wait for break so that I would come home and visit. Last last after spending lots of time together watering his plants, I con turn house girl when their house girl comot just to please him. Naso love Choo my head. The mumu that I did that pained me, was when he told me he named the apple after me, I began to use him as phone wallpaper, posting his pictures on my status saying love of my life. Person wey no ask me out. We groomed to pomegranates and apples together. I took care of the apple named after me till they began to yield red apples. Long story short I decided to tell him how I felt naso they give me red card. He say him get girlfriend, at feelings fade and people change say make I no worry I go forget am. The shame great, I couldn't process it for a week. The love that was sweet at first turned soar. It took me a long while, I even ran to my uncles place in lag. Till my parents moved from that state. But I've finally moved on. But every bad situation always has a good in it. I've learnt to grow my own fruits and learnt to ask where I stand with someone. So that I no go shame myself again. You can learn how to grow yours too. Check this link below https://stoiccreature..com/2021/09/troubles-growing-apples-in-tropics.html |
