Politics / Re: VeryDarkMan Asks Tinubu To Declare A Curfew Because Of Potential Violence by Jephyard(m): 1:14pm On Aug 02
emkz:
The protesters must be allowed to express their grievances.

The police must allow them run amok.

These children must experience what we experienced in the post June 12 annullment when people were maimed, women were not spared and people were killed.

Due to the liberal nature of the president, people are riding on his goodwill. They are asking for the return of fuel subsidy, release of EndSARS protesters (some of whom looted people's businesses and burnt public infrastructure), abandonment of the constitution, electoral reforms, and some called for regime change.

Deji Adeyanju blamed the president for increasing allocation to state governors post-subsidy removal who have gone on to mismanage the allocations. They are afraid to protest against the governors who eroded public service and local government administration.

Throughout yesterday, apart from the police station that was razed in Nyanya, most of the properties that were destroyed belonged to private individuals.

More than 22 persons were reported to have died , including the suicide bomb in Borno State. While Ebun Adegboruwa, Deji Adeyanju, Inibehe Effiong and Yele Sowore were singing days of rage, they forgot they won't be able to control the mob. Deji Adeyanju tried to blame the police for instigating violence.

Very dark nuisance was one of the promoters of the protest; suddenly, he wants an end to it because they didn't expect the outcome. Arise News anchors on the morning show called for protest, their bus was destroyed by the mob in Kano. Atiku supported it, but has not issued a statement to commiserate with the families of those killed yesterday.

To the protesters and rioters:

(1) Who will cater for the families of those killed yesterday?
(2) Who will bear the cost of people's properties destroyed yesterday?
(3) Which fund will be used to rebuild the infrastructure destroyed?
(4) How will the mob leaders rein in on the mob they unleashed?

To Tinubu:

(1) You have been advised to address the nation and douse the tension. Don't do it! Only sensible people are ready to listen to you. Right now, the protest leaders and the rioters are not reasoning. Let them continue and whenever you step it, it is to restore order in a decisive way. You don't need to say a word. Just do it. Learn from Buhari.
(2) You cannot return fuel subsidy or return fuel price to 100 naira. The nation cannot afford it. Let each state government handle internal transportation at affordable rates. The easiest thing to do is to buy airconditioned buses and let them subsidize transportation. It is not FG who should take care of transportation within states.
(3) Let cargo planes start leaving states like Plateau and Taraba carrying food from there and taking them to major cities. That would be a temporary solution until rail infrastructure is improved nationwide.
(4) State governors must now agree to work with FG to tackle insecurity and strife within their states. The accusation of local politicians, religious leaders, military men and elites fuelling insecurity for business gains need to be nipped in the bud. One of the notorious terrorists accused a minister of funding them when he was governor.
(5) Do not declare a nationwide state of emergency or curfew for any reason. Let each state governor declare such in their states if needed.
(6) There are a lot of lies being peddled about your administration. There are lies that you bought a yatch. Where is the yatch? Some even claim that you bought a private presidential jet. How can a presidential jet be private? You may need to overhaul your information management team. You have the most media advisers in history and most of them are incompetent. Now is the time to look for a seasoned PR guru and let him bring his own team to manage information and public communications from the presidency. You have done a lot and that has not reached the ears of those who should know. As the saying goes, until the lion learns to tell his story, the tales of the hunt will always glorify the hunter.
(7) Finally, stop being nice and too tolerant. You are managing a complex nation and a complex people. How do you explain children looting public property in Kano yesterday? Being nice will lead to you being messed up. Ask Jonathan. Remember a fool will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience. You must rise to the occasion. Remember General Sani Abacha was an effective leader, despite his many faults. He accomplished all he did for the nation by not being nice to anyone. Any stumbling block to national development needs to be weeded out.

Really. There is an adage; You can't teach an old dog a new trick. He is too old to be in government. He should take a clue from Joe Biden after his first term he should throw in the towel.

Anyway this protest is needed. He is even in luck the country is not burning right now. No matter how wicked a leader is never make your citizen hungry. Even Christ or Prophet Mohammed understand this principle about leadership even the Arab world and the western world will never allow their citizens go hungry no matter how hard the economy is being hit.

Our politicians are very unintelligent, lack foresight of any kind and can't do a basic economic principles for the betterment of his people. If Tinubu likes let him not talk to Nigerian and keep mute like Buhari then He should kiss his second term goodbye.

What is oga JD saying?

I seriously get worried when some of our elders speak and says things that are outrightly false.

What wasn't bad under the military? Cost of living, economy? Security? I mean some of us are not kids or teenagers that you can twist history and deceive. Can he have freedom to speak under the military the way he speaks now? The way he constantly throw shades against the president and even before he became president?

Things are tough, that is very much true and constructive criticism of government is needed to keep the government on its toes. But what he is saying is wrong, fallacious and condemnable.

Comments like these are what sets some of out youths on edge, especially those who didn't experience the military. Is he alluding that going back to the military is better?

If not for emotional sentiments and the fact that our system of governance and accountability is just lacking, for such comments, he should be politely invited to explain himself.

But alas, he is an elite and the people he is talking about are people of his elitist class. So wetin be my own.

Bro stop lying. If you put this democratic setting and military rule side by side, the military will come out as a winner twice.

Tell me, is it terrorism which they will kill immediately (there were terror act during their time but was laid to rest immediately), religion crisis is 50/50 depending who is in control during Abacha time it was at the nearest minimum, economy was fair even with sanctions by the west during Abacha time compared to this nonsense being pushed by APC and their gang, ethnic homogeneity give it to the military they came close to have a level playing field (Like the federal character act/laws or whatever) except that the Igbos where denied to some level due to past experience than to what we have today (NYSC was their creation to bring everyone back to common ground), Infrastructure though low but between them and this current democratic setting they way all above and so many. The amount of bigotry online these days it so damming between two tribes that have long live together.

I thought Peter Obi was a nobody. But the APC attack dogs keep attacking him while doing nothing, shows there is more to what we all know.

One thing I know for sure is that the APC Party as a whole are scare of Peter Obi because he has a huge following which APC will pay billion to have. So they are working overdrive both day and night to assesinate his character.

Anything to rewrite history to make sure he doesn't win the next coming election has been on the run yet they have gotten so little results so far from all the stipend given to their attack dogs and also the abysmal performance from Mr. President and his team from APC has not help at all.

APC Achilles heel happen to be Peter Obi due to only God knows why, they are so interested in him even though he is sleeping his bedroom they will still find fault in it. Too bad to be a APC fan this period of time.

what is this one saying, did the looting and vandalism start after the killing or before?,don’t let sentiment blow of your ignorance and bias.was it not when you people started chaos, stealing, killing and obstruction of economic activities that you met hands that can pocket you and your cohorts.

Bro stop please. The looting and vandalism started when the soldier killed the protesters. Even before the soldier came, thugs were hire BRT buses (Blue Buses) to disrupt the protest in Lagos yet nothing happened, the protesters stood their ground.

It was when the soldier came that everything erupted into chaos. Show me one prove that properties and life were destroyed before the soldier came. Any link to an article or anything and I will learn.

I can understand the traffic gridlock they cause at the Lekki Tollgate, Airport Tollgate, Alausa and in some pocket area's in Lagos. But looting and vandalism did not raise it ugly head until the soldier shot at the protesters.

Do your research and stop being a nuisance to public peace.

they should attack political infrastructures that were provided with tax payers money,do you think those things were provided with politicians money?.
A youth with this kind of mindset too will be decrying hardship,I wonder how you want to have things easier with this kind of thinking.what a shame,so after the destruction the government will allocate huge sums to renovate what you destroyed instead of providing new additional ones.
I’m very sorry to say people like you, your hardship is self inflicted because I’m very sorry to say you are a disgrace.
The police stations that were set ablaze during the endsars has been rebuilt but from whose money?.people like me will support them killing your likes that goes around destroying what they built from my own money in the name of protest.i wonder if you have a tax clearance certificate.
During the endsars protest, how many houses, police stations, government busses and other social amenities did your people destroy in the southeast, perhaps how much of those has been provided by your state government ?.obviously it was a calculated attempt to draw back the Southwest to the deplorable state of economic and political penury that you people have placed yourselves.
Go and protest in your states and destroy political infrastructure there.yet I’ve not seen any northerner on this thread talking about protest, make una Dey cook am and don’t forget to add poison,na una we go feed am to laslas

I don't understand why some of you absolve the blame on government over the wanton destruction during ENDSAR'S. It was peaceful until the government sent in soldiers to kill protesters. Afterward all hell was set loose. Most of the protesters in Lekki Tollgate were not the one who carry-out the destruction. It was the reaction of the people who saw what the government has done and felt so bad about it, decided to storm the street in anger. I know people who have never join the protest until the death of the protesters in Lekki Tollgate.

Same thing happened during Covid-19 where the government starve the populace until they had to loot the warehouses where relief materials for Covid-19 where kept. Same is about to happen because of government insensitive to the plight of the people over increasing cost of food, transportation and housing due to inflation. Not just inflation but bad policies that are beneficial to the elite and the west.

The government have every opportunity to weather the storm but they are playing deaf to the cry of the Nigerian citizen. So please if you want to come here and spill nonsense as if some of us where not here when it happened. Is either you educate yourself or tell your pay master we didn't in anyway forget what actually happen. Have a nice day

IdeasYapayaski:

Your justification is not synonymous with the consequences.

What do you mean?
Religion / Re: Avoid Sleeping With A Married Woman by Jephyard(m): 10:38pm On Jul 14
IdeasYapayaski:
Adultery is growing in our society because people are trying hard by all means to ditch the word of God. But the truth is that, it is impossible. The Bible is not like a novel that fades away, trust me, it will outlive anyone reading this Post. Believe it or not.

I was sitting out at a garden in Asokoro some years ago, some young men enjoying their evening in front of me began a very interesting topic. One suddenly said if he was Joseph he would bleep Potiphar's wife till he produces another child that will take over the throne. The other said, with his big Willie, he would do this or that till she kills Potiphar herself. I shook my head.

Aside of that, I have seen too on Nairaland many young men boasting about them doing it all the time. To be candid, you may enjoying the moment, but your destiny is completely destroyed. And am going to tell you how very briefly.

Let us use Joseph in the scripture as an example because it is a very familiar story.

Take note of this: If Joseph had slept with Potiphar's wife, she would want it all the time. And he will have to give it to her all the time. This could mean that he will continue giving it to her till another set of slaves arrive, and because she is a promiscious woman, it is obvious, Joseph will be replaced once someone finer comes in. Remember it was not his handsomeness that made Potiphar to put him in charge of his home, it was the supernatural blessings and increase that Potiphar saw in everything he has that made him to conclude that Joseph God is with him.

Therefore, if he had slept with Potiphar's wife, he would have lost the grace of God upon his life that distinguished him, and very importantly, you need to know that he would not be thrown into the prison with the Kings butler and the cook. Remember it was their dreams that he interpreted that changed his story and made him the first minister of agriculture in the world.

We all know how much God loved David, but when he did it, and even went as far to kill the woman's husband, God made it clear to him that he disliked what he did and killed the product of that copulation, though he repented and God had Mercy on him, and gave him Solomon, who later became a King. He is indeed a merciful God.

Once a man destiny is aborted, he will amount to nothing! He will struggle till he dies. That is if he is not killed like the upcoming Ghanian artist that was just killed because he went to sleep with a married woman who lives with her in-laws. He came out to ease himself at night, but unfortunately for him, one of the household members saw him and shouted thief! He said he wasn't a thief and was pointing to the room where the woman is, she came out and denied ever knowing him, and he was killed. HIS DESTINY IS TERMINATED.

If you don't want your destiny aborted, stop sleeping with a married woman. It has send lot of men to the grave before their time.

Sleeping with a married woman will abort your destiny, whatever enjoyment you're enjoying by doing it is mainly for a very short period of time.
.
HAPPY SUNDAY!

Seriously this is nonsense.

They are various reasons people cheat.
1. Economic Reason
2. Government Policies
3. Moral Decadence

Economic Reasons
If as a man you can't provide for your family, the probability of your woman cheating on you is high.

Government Policies
Unstable policies where one can't make a proper plan to meet families goals, due to unemployment, low pay, harsh business environment, etc may make a man or a woman to cheat to cut corners or to safe her job even if she is either qualified or not for job sometimes taken advantage of or offering her body to climb up in the co-operate world.

Moral Decadence
Men or women without proper upbringing/strong moral values tend to create more problems in the society if not properly guided.

Properties / Re: ‘many Structures Will Go Down’, Lagos Blows Hot Over Flood by Jephyard(m): 11:02pm On Jul 03
Lagos is a misplace city. The government of Lagos are running it as if they are in a village. Oshodi and Iyana-Oworo was flooded this morning.

The island is the worst. Government presence there is 20%. Most of the inner road built from Lekki Phase downward are done by the residents living in that axis. Most time which are poorly done due to meager finance and hiring engineers who doesn't understand what it takes to build a road in that environment.

Will I blame them? NO! Afterall the local government of eti-osa is death. In short local government has been rendered useless by state government.

Lagos used to be a model city but from what I can see I do not wish any state to copy Lagos kind of city where there is no street light, no pipe-borne water (Water Corporation is dead, and then still dey collect salaries), public transport is a mess with rickety buses meant for the museum playing the road, tout is everywhere including highbrow places, no visible road sign, no national park or green belt, no trees just concrete everywhere you turn to, etc too many to mention.

It just a mess. You can't even use most of the pedestrian bridges in the state because you are either being scared of being robbed or you find shit (Faeces), everywhere just dey smell. Haba nah. The government should do something. We are tired.

God will punish anyone that will ask me to leave the state because I complained. Don't you like good things. Don't you want the state to be well runn and balance other than this messed we find ourselves. No one is more lagosian than anyone here. It's because we want better we keep talking till it gets to the right quarters to do more. We all want a better Lagos.

Religion / Re: The Father's Blessing by Jephyard(m): 12:51pm On Jun 16
Villa12:
nobody said father is not important. Both parents are important obviously but if you will be sincere with yourself children tend to love their mother more than their father. Some children even treat their father at old age base on how their father treat their mother while they were still young.

If we should back it up religiously, the holy quoran explitly state that the road to heaven of a child is in the hands of your mother. Same holy book also admonished the children to take care of their parents . Mother was mentioned 4 times before father was mentioned once.

Reason why i do laugh at some guys asking women what are they bringing to the table. They're bringing their life. They risk their life bringing forth another life. Some even lose their life in the process. It may be nothing to you but to me and some other men it is a whole lot.

There is something most of us men tend to forget. We will write books either laws or religious one to always eulogies/protect the women.

It's in our nature/DNA to do so. Reason to protect life. We will do it without reason even putting our life in the way. Without men women will go extinct ( though vice versa, one can't to without the other). E.g. look at the divorce laws in western world. Men creating laws against their interests to protect women. And women on the other hand exploiting it.

That's why men have no problem children loving their mothers than them. The role of a man is not only to lead, protect or provide but a duty. To create nothing from thin air, make important decisions and endurance.

Look at the black society in the western world. It is chaos without their fathers. Both Fathers and mothers are important in children life. Just because children love their mother who spend more quality time and who has not come to understand how the world work doesn't take how one unit how important the father have been to them.
Religion / Re: The Father's Blessing by Jephyard(m): 12:07pm On Jun 16
Villa12:
take religion out of it bro. A mother that carried you far good 9 months and risk her life for you? Some mothers died at during that stage while some survived it. She breastfed you for years and had sleepless night for your sake. I understand both parents are important but till thy kingdom come you can never compare the sacrifice of a mother to that of Father. Reason why most children still love their mother more than their father. It is a natural. You spent months in her womb and she risk her life giving you life. It is not debatable bro

Bro stop to dey cap. As if you didn't spend years in your father groin or system. You are being overly emotional.

Father is not important but once father died family scattered. You will raise your own family, you will understand better.

The input of fathers cannot be underestimated. No father need validation from its children to raise them. They don't need your appreciation to take you to the top. That is hard love bro. They don't even need anything from you.

Mothers are also important. All men life is about sacrifice so that his family could, irrespective of their health/risk. Hard love bro

In recent times Rufai Oseni have been reckless, partisan, unprofessional and brazenly confrontational both to his guest on Arise TV whenever he perceives a supporter of the Tinubu administration and to Tinubu administration
Recent cases abound, all you have to do is to see him on Arise TV. He even concluded the administration is a failure less than 1 year of which it still has remaining 3years!
He propagate his personal narratives , enforce his partisan opinion and ever ready to amplify what divides us as a nation to the detriment of the Nigerian nationhood.
His utterances and post, I beg to submit are against the basic tenants of journalism.
Could it be because of his love for Obi or dislike for Tinubu? Only him could answer!

Bro it a failure. Stop to dey cap nonsense. We no one talk no means say we don't know what's up. Tell me which of his policies will take you out of the mess we found ourselves. Just give me one and we will all agree he isn't a failure.

What most of you don't know supporting such a leaders who ought to make things better but making excuses for them, make them more horrible than they are. You ask for the job, fix the God dam problem and stop making excuses.

If you are an employer if one of your employees keep making excuses or performs badly, will you keep making excuses for him?. Most of you won't take what is happening to Nigeria, if it were your personal business.

Others are making giant strides in their country not because they have two heads but because they understood the problem and have them fix. If he continues like this Nigeria a docile country might end up being a country where me and you won't be able to live in.

Exactly my take. The man needs serious inerrogations. What will make a woman living with you commit suicide and you never suspected or noticed any strange moves and reported or taken action before it got to that stage.

When you're living with a man that doesn't care it can always result to this because a man that cares about your wellbeing will notice when you're down and try to talk you out of whatever it is that is bothering you. He'll offer to help and take you for therapy to get the needed medical attention but it seems there's no such relationship or bond between them and they are just living like flat mates. Smh..
So much for the so called marriage relationship.

Whether you're married or not just hold onto God cos only him can take care of you regardless, both in your prime and old age.
Marriage doesn't guarantee fulfilment. Only in God you can be fulfilled.

The collective will is how wall of Jericho was built. The collective will is let us build a tower that reach heaven. The tower of Babel. Those things are the collective will blacks do not have.

Black people were never organised and never had a written text or history. They tell stories of the past which contradicts one another. Before the white men came they were naked with leaf and hagered looking.

When some of them begins to proper or get rich they oppressed one another and destroy people preserve to have bright star.

The history of the black race is not very interesting or educative like the other race. Modernization is been forced on us as it was never part of us and reasons we are finding it difficult.

For your information the forth mainland bridge is starting from Abraham Adesanya, Ajah, Lagos. (Another structural Nonsense from Lagos. Before you asked me I have seen the video. The Lekki epe express way is still another structural nonsense that doesn't make sense to me with the kind of development going on there). Supersonic and road doesn't go together at all. Ask yourself where will they get the money from to run this project.

For those you applauding this nonsense, really shows that it's the followers that is the problem of this country. This nonsense should not be even be news worthy because it practically impossible in Nigeria now with our economic mess. He should be talking about rail line connecting all the state if possible.

Romance / Re: How I Dealt With An Entitled Lady by Jephyard(m): 11:42am On Nov 16, 2022
At the OP you did well. Number one rule on a date only eat what you can afford. Among my friends if I order a food of maybe let say 2k and you my friend order a food of 3k. I will tell you, you will pay for the remaining balance I no send you. Called me anything it principle I keep so dearly. I also don't order more than the host no matter how you whyne me reach to take more. This is among guys o let alone a lady should know better that.

I have had a similar incident one time at Elegushi Beach. I was on my way to the beach, I was about to pay for my ticket when one of the boys ask if I can help a lady at the gate, since we are going to the same direction, no p. Normal level we Converse and she told me it was her first time at the beach that I should take her round, which I did after all I need the company self.

We enter into of their bar and she asked me what will I like to take? I simply order for a table water and she ordered for Coke and Plastic Action Bitter. After a while I told her I want to be on my way home. Naso babe say make I pay for everything, say weti, pay everything unto say nah u say make I order. I called the attendant, I asked him in her front what did I order for, he said water and I paid for my water. The babe was about to course a scene and I called the attendant and ask again was I the one that make the order for her, he said no. I said to him collect your money from her. Some guys were like teasing me to pay for her, I told them I have no problem paying but for her trying to play smart on me, I am not paying. Nah help I help not to be scammed. Lagos boy for that matter. I no gree. That was how I left the place funming. Island girls are found of doing such nonsense.

Family / Re: Update: How Can I Reduce The Hatred I Have For My Cousin Brother? by Jephyard(m): 11:46am On Nov 08, 2022
At the OP, I must commend you for standing up for your family even when your dad and mom are not doing enough. And by the way you are not weak, this is a family matter and must be handle carefully irrespective of how some of us might see it here.

In all these never disrespect your dad. Carry your dad along since he wants to recoperate him. All of you should sit round even with your cousin and cousin mom, everyone should agreed, he will be sent to rehab soon. Every culture has rehab homes for people like him. It there in your community or another or government rehab centers. That you all love him and cant continue to lives with you guys cos of his behavioral problems if he refused force him to do so or report to the community head and the clerics.

Am not going to fault any member of your family for not being firm as some of us wanted here. They all grew up in different times where family is everything. You mom is right and same as your dad for his actions. And you are also right but you have to take everyone view, culture, belief and power into account before you are seen as being disrespectful. Pray to Allah to give you wisdom to swim through this storm. Let me guess this is first your confrontation with family problem, if you are successful in this ordeal you will be respected by all and be look up to. Goodluck

Travel / Re: How My RIDA Driver Tried To Kidnap Me - Twitter User by Jephyard(m): 8:34pm On Oct 30, 2022
Is only in Lagos a night crawler is scared of the night. This is not a case of kidnapping. It more of a misunderstanding between you and the driver which you should have communicated in clear terms. Let me guess you were bossing the driver around and he took offence.

Next time if you order a ride and you discovered the car ac is not working, after asking him and you are not satisfied with his answer. Tell him to drop you off any bus stop that you can get another ride, try to be polite about it and pay him accordingly.

Please do better in your write up next time.

So we can easily conclude that TonyeBacarnister has been foolishly lying since childhood.

Yes. An example is Buhari when he was ban from politics for life by the oputa panel then. Now we know better. Buhari has never change same can be said of TonyeBacarnister. Fear any man that has no stand, they are easily bought over. That's why Nigeria political space is so messy and lack vision. If I am lying ask any Nigeria politician what is the Nigerian dream? Non will answers even tonye can't answer this question too.

Old age has caught up with him just like baba Tinubu and seem old age in Nigeria comes with lying. If I dey lie, ask Lai Mohammed

Fact and truth at the same time. I was having same discuss with my dad why do old people tell lies alot in Nigeria. I was like when one get older there is nothing to be afraid of and seen it all and ready to meet his maker, so will live an honest life and leave so many mundane things behind. Instead they become worst as they age. There is a saying a foolish/Dishonest man at 20 will always be foolish/dishonest at 60, for short a liar will always be a liar no matter how high that person climb, you can't run away from yourself.

It high time we take one character very serious, it a peprequisite for good leadership. Certificate should be the least among anything if you want to employ or marry anyone. Character is build over a lifetime while certificate can be gotten anytime, anywhere inshort everywhere.

Sports / Re: Why Is That English Premier League Players Barely Win The Ballon D'or by Jephyard(m): 9:50pm On Oct 26, 2022
Reason are epl don't produce players ad their mode of play doesn't allow players to play good football. They are too direct and have bad managers, no English manager have won won the premier league, it's that bad. Unlike other league that keep producing good managers after the best one have left for epl and cos they don't have so much money like the epl, other leagues groom players and allow them to play real football. Spain is very technical in football, Germany, Italy ad france are very tactical and less technical as well but good with players development. Players you hype in Epl are not better than Nkunku, Leao, Osimhen, Jeremy Doku, Rodrygo, Kubo, Pedri, Vlaghovic, Raspadori, Kvaratskhelia, Tonali and so many but you won't hear them in all media developing peace.

Apapa seaport was built by the SW resources before amalgamation yet pumps revenues to federal government. Tell me who should be screaming blue murder if not Lagos? You dey mad?

Apart from the airport the federal government built in 1980's after Awolowo laid the industrial work while Ikeja was under the western region in the 60's federal government did nothing in Ikeja.

You said some houses were in magodo and Lekki in the 90's... aren't there houses in mushin? Does that means it's developed? Heck, who laid the Lekki industrial lay out, free trade zone and seaport if not Tinubu? You dey mad?

Why wasn't Banana island built in 1983 until a year after Tinubu came into office? You dey mad? Meanwhile, tun was part of the nadeco team that outlined and supervised it before he became a governor.

Lolz seriously you no well. So you believe in one year Tinubu rush build banana island. An area that has been in construction before he become a Governor. Man you funny.

Magodo and Lekki Phase 1(Maroko)! This two places were highly developed. For Magodo, the Lagos State government then Gbolahan Mudasirua acquired the plots from the original owners on the pretence that it was being taken over for overriding public interest, same thing Razaq did to the people at Maroko now Lekki Phase 1 only to sell to their rich friends. Maroko can be like to be in the class of Ajegunle a big slum way back before razaq destroy the place. Ask the older generation about Maroko aka Lekki Phase 1

Apapa was built with South West revenue! Which south west revenue pleae. Please don't kill me with laugh. You seem to forget Lagos was a British Colony and then Nigeria Capital. I hope you know what that means. Please someone should provide a copy of the history of Lagos to this bro. I don't think you know much of Lagos cos if you do you won't be saying this. I understand you have to try and push a narrative for you candidate but please research wide before typing nonsense.

Asaba, Calabar were also the capital at some point. So what happened? You dey mad and you've got no one to tell you.

I repeat only Lagos Island was the capital. 97% of what became Lagos today was under the Western region under Awolowo. In fact, Ikeja was Awolowo's brainchild!

Also Before Tinubu in 1999, there was no development of Lekki, Ajah, banana island, Eko Atlantic city, Magodo etc

You are a liar from hell. You can only deceive those who don't know the history of Lagos.

Federal government develop all part of Lagos. Take that to the bank. Who do you think develop areas like Surulere, Apapa, Ikeja (Awolowo plan for Ikeja was to be an Industrial Zone, FG aided in building an international Airport that also promote growth of Ikeja to a high level), Amuwo Odofin (FESTAC) and area like Iyanu Ipaja axis (Gowon Open those axis). Those where vision from federal government all the way from Gowon down to IBB.

Magodo has be in existence since in the 80's. Banana Island started all the way back in 1983 first in V.Island but Lagos State did their nonsense before the guy had to move it to Ikoyi then no body believe it will come to fruition. Lekki Phase 1 was formally Maroko, do your finding bro. Razaq of Lagos State administrators then demolished every structure there claiming sea surge for his reason and Lagos State sold most part the land to their rich friends. The people displaced from Maroko move down to places like Ajah and co. My pips move to Ajah in 1995. Before the coming of Tinubu, Ajah was a busy axis already with it Market. Even if we are to talk about the Governor that bring development to axis like Lekki Phase 1 down to Ibeju Lekki, it's solely on Lateef Jakande. Without him Tinubu won't be able to establish an industrial zone in Ibeju-Lekki fo a start. Mind you they were estate on this axis before Tinubu so no even start to dey cap nonsense. Eko Atlantic was use to curb the ocean surge and why is it taking so long to be developed, It almost 23 years still empty as a desert. It took the whole of Dubai 30 years to develop. By the way Dubai is Bigger than Eko Atlantic and we both know in the next 7 years there will still be nothing to show for it. Stop hyping that very slow venture.
