My name is Alex Oluwatobi & I’m confused!
When I was in 200 level, I met Funke who joined my department through A-levels. One thing led to the other and we got talking. I started developing a special likeness for her.
She is a natural beauty, nerdy, well endowed (front & back �).


I summoned the courage to ask her out, but i was turned down. She said the best we could be is just friends as she is in a serious relationship. Few months after, I tried again but still met a dead end. So I decided to drop it & agreed to be in the friendzone.
We were true friends with no strings attached. Though, we made out once but nothing after that. She was the complete package. She used to sleep over in my room without things happening. We had seen ourselves more like brothers & sisters.


Her boyfriend was a very rich Lagos boy.
His family is affiliated to one of the strong Lagos politicians, not Jagaban though. He comes visiting with lots of goodies which Funke always shared with me.


He’ll always threaten me subtly, “if you touch my babe, I’ll cut off your thing” he’d say.
I wasn’t thinking of having a girlfriend as I was getting all the necessary attention and care from Funke. I’ve never been a sex freak, so sex wasn’t my priority at all. I just wanted to always talk to Funke, sleep, eat & make sure I read so as to make the 2.1 (2nd class upper) I promised my uncle(my sponsor).


Luckily, I made the 2.1 in Computer science as promised. I immediately got a job after NYSC, so I had to move to Lagos from Ibadan.

By this time, Funke & I barely see but we talk virtually everyday. The gidi struggle was real, I was living in Ikorodu while my office was in Ajah. By this time, Funke had started working with one of the new generation banks in VI. We were still keeping up but not like we used to.

Funke always flaunted her boyfriend on every social media platform. I loved their love life, but a part of me still liked her so much.

Earlier this year, I was invited by one of our clients to a gala night, that was where I met Chiamaka.
Pretty, yellow, curvy, clean from head to toe!
Chiamaka is the head of Digital Communications in her company. She’s a BIG GIRL.


I didn’t know what came over me; maybe it was the Jameson whiskey I was sipping because on a normal day, I wouldn’t have the effrontery to have a nat with this lady, as she seemed way out of my league. We got talking & damn she was very cool. Her smile kept blowing me away. We exchanged contacts & talked every blessed day.


I got a little raise at work so I moved to a nice apartment in Ogudu. I also got some new stuff for the house. Chiamaka was like the lucky charm I needed in my life, as things started falling into place.
I gisted Funke about everything and she seemed very happy for me. I had visited Chiamaka once in her apartment but she had never been to mine; no issues.


One time in February, Funke was posted to the Ketu branch of the bank she works with. She called to tell me, and also asked If she could stay in my place for the one week training.

This morning as I opened my what seemed like a loaded truck eyes, i felt an horrific headache, the type that could make one not want to move an inch. As i grabbed the small hand mirror my mother had left in my room the night before, i could only gasp at the image of what i was seeing, I thought to myself, this could not be me, was I mugged in my sleep or was I perhaps experiencing a bad allergy or is this part of the whole “going through adolescence”, I definitely didn’t sign up for this! Then it occurred to me, it wasn’t a bad dream, it happened! Tony and I really did break up.

I could have sworn both my heart and the world stopped moving for a split second, I can’t believe this, I’m finally free! But something just doesn’t seem right, I know I should be happy but I’m not, I don’t know what I’m feeling but it’s certainly not happiness.

Tony and i have been together for eight years now, he was my first at everything, he always made me feel i was too lucky to have him.

Tony and i met when i was fifteen, he was seventeen then, he was what every teenager would refer to as “a catch”. I had just resumed my new school after my mum and i moved to lagos where she was to start her lecturing job. I bumped into Tony on my way to finding where SS1B was situated, Tony helped me out and even told me if i ever needed anything or had trouble, I could come find him in SS3D which was only few steps away from our block. And like every other teenager, i fell for his kindness but i knew not to feed my feelings as my mother always warned me against boys, it was more or less like i was forbidden to like a boy.

Often times, we hear people talk about how friends turn to family, how we just want to conquer the world with our friends right by our side. But, what they don’t tell us is how sometimes, the people we call bestfriends can wake up and decide not to be our friend no more or maybe they weren’t really our friend to start with.

Last night as i was about to drift into a heavy slumber, my mind brought back memories of my once best friend, linda. Linda was everything one could wish for in a friend, she was sweet and blunt at the same time and she loved everything that i loved too, what more could a 17year old ask for??. But then, I guess I didn’t really pay attention to how different we were, to the little things that matter that made us so much different. Or maybe i knew, i just didn’t want to believe them.

As we get older, we grow wiser they say, our priorities change and we see life in a different way. We both grew older but in two different ways, I grew up believing the world could be better than this and that in other to make that happen, we need to change our views towards things and how we react to them, and although she believed this too, our approach towards change wasn’t the same. Linda grew up believing the way to a better life and an amazing marriage was to make peace with everyone while i believed it was to make peace with oneself.

Chioma has set the record straight after a troll slammed her for referring to Davido as her “husband”.

The new mum shared a video celebrating Davido whose album went platinum.

One fateful morning around 5am, I lay on my bed and guess what I was thinking about; my tummy. It felt like I had eaten ten wraps of fufu in the dream. I had been soaking myself in worry for the past few days, but this was the last straw. I told myself I wasn’t going to eat dinner again once it’s 7pm, but will I hear, nooo. Yesterday was extraordinary; I was on my feet all day and so couldn’t get a chance to prepare food to eat. Seeing as I don’t like getting fast foods, I had to prepare white rice and fish stew. This led to breaking my eating rules. You know how it is when you haven’t eaten all day and then you have the chance to eat, you eat like you’re not going to eat tomorrow.

I had 3 helpings of that food, didn’t even know how; I was so hungry and rice and stew is my favorite. Guess what happened, after eating, the fatigue from the whole day just cloaked me like those heavy lace material at Onitsha market that I couldn’t get up. I zoomed off to sleep. On waking up, I felt so guilty.

Singer Mr Eazi has reacted to speculations that he is dating billionaire daughter, Temi Otedola, because of her father, Femi Otedola's money.

Controversial actress, Xandy Kamel has given viewers of Kofi TV yet another shock by removing her panties live on television.

The actress who was talking to presenter, Kofi Adoma about what goes into producing a s*x scene in movies, dared her host to allow her remove her panties but Kofi was hesitant.
