I know couples of even different religions that are living together peacefully. But I won't underestimate the power of belief. If their love is not strong enough to hold their divergent denominational inclinations together. They should call it quit now because it's bound to happen sometime.

But I will understand if a good number of people advice the woman to be submissive as the xtian faith teaches. Isn't is all about the faith anyway?

Beline:

he is dating the two at the same time, trust naija guys
Thank you Beline. I thought I'm the only person thinking "Assuming this is all nearly true. A motherf***ker is f***ing two women at the same time and almost succeeded in fooling everyone here into believing he has some real choice issue."

If you are f***k only one woman at a time may be you won't be so "confused" No. I'm not a woman!
TV/Movies / Re: Why Are Nigerian Cartoons Rare? by kadeyy(m): 7:34pm On Apr 19, 2007
Untill creativity becomes lucrative or at least attractive in Nigeria, we will continue to fill our lives and homes with materials and concepts created abroad. And nobody is going to give a damn. It's a global village!

But how can our nation encourage creativity?

Govt should:

1. Enforce intellectual property rights. i.e destroy destructive monsters like Alaba Video pirate market and Ikeja software pirate markets and all other such markets. And hunt down pirates like dangerous criminals.

2. Provide basic infrastructures e.g power (you can't produce computer animations with candles and lanterns!)

Creators should:

1. Overcome the "African mentality" that we are not as good in creative endeavours as the the other races. We have brains just like the others and we can create stuff.

2. Work hard at your creativity. Success at creating is 0.5% genius and 99.5% raw sweat and toils.

3. Create for the fun of it. Enjoy creating and do not set your mind on making money as the sole purpose of embarking on creative endeavours. Money will come when the world admires your creation enough to pay for it. At that point there isn't any limit to how much money you can make (I agree. A bit of marketing or much of it will help!).

The following creative areas are currently under-expoilted and are massive opportunities for talented people to hit fortune in this country:

1. Script writing (for plays, movies and TV productions)
2. Songs writing
3. Graphic animations (the subject of this thread)
4. Stand-up Comedy
5. Softwares and Web Services
6. Fashion
7. Advert
8. Fine Art
9. Food (Yes.You can create a food variety and make a fortune!)
10.etc (You can as well think of others. That's how it all begins, )
Crime / The Official Website Of The 419 University Of Nigeria! by kadeyy(m): 8:38pm On Apr 18, 2007
I'm sure some scum-of-the-earth in the US or wherever put this together to ridicule the very essence of Nigeria. But will anyone blame them? The very word "Nigeria" is now completely synonymous with "419" and "fraud" both in the mainstream media and on the internet. Thanks to our tireless yahoo-yahoo brothers!

Here to our collective shame, is the "The Official Website of the 419 University of Nigeria!"

http://www.universityofnigeria.com

N.B. I'll strongly advice the authorities of the UNN and whoever cares to do something about this. Millions of people all over the world will read this and take it literally!
Romance / Re: Romance Novels Making Nigerian Girls Hard To Get by kadeyy(m): 9:50pm On Apr 17, 2007
Ok Dirax and others interested. (People not interested can stop reading at this pont. This is VERY IMPORTANT!)

The "Calculus of Attraction".

Let us define the "Position of a woman receiving a male member in any manner as "P". A woman who doesn't even know you exist is put at "0". "CRIPPY" is when a woman finds you repulsive!

The rate at which a woman reaches "P" from value "0" is a function of the the man's physical attractiveness( A), wealth (W), and percieved power/ influence (I) and has practically nothing to do with his intelligence, morals, values or how nice he is. This relationship can be derived via classical "Ladder theory" and is expressed as:

dP/dt = aA+bW+cI

Where a, b and c are weighting factors. Empirical studies show that in general for all women, c>b>a, so power and wealth more strongly influence dP/dt.

Women who attain Position "P" for any man regardless of age or looks can fit into this theory if we generalize that the entity W, is really an expectation of wealth transfer over a given time frame, delta t. Then we can see that there is an equivalence between a woman who sleeps with a wealthy man who will transfer money and gifts over a long time period in return for continuous attention and an ordinary ho who sleeps with any poor man who pays the fees on short-time basis, implying:

W = (Money Transfered)/t or

W = (MT/t)

So the theory holds.

The formula can be generalized to all women by adding a term that tends to decrease dP/dt with age for the woman, but for now we can keep it simple by assuming that all the women we are interested in are under the age of, say , 32 a period most women have the most bargaining power.

Now, if we assume that the definition of "CRIPPY" is dP/dt => 0 i.e the time for the woman to assume position "P" approaches infinity or eternity (man never get to sleep with woman!)

0= aA+bW+cI

A=-(bW+cI)/a

A = (-b/a)W + (-c/a)I

This implies that if the man has enough wealth or perceived power (legitimate or not), then for a given woman not to sleep with this man, he would have to lack a good number of frontal teeth, weigh 400 lbs, and smell like a diseased farm pig!.

Now a practical example: Woman is on a train, where she has no way of ascertaining either W or I from simply looking at the man that is looking at her, so she assumes worst case low values. Since she assumes W and I to be low or non-existent (where any man making a middle class living is considered to be at low for both W and I), "A" would have to be very large (an amazing handsomeness) to get dP/dt positive. Hence, the man is considered "crippy!".

However, if the same man drives a year model imported sports car into the the reception of an art gallery and was introduced as a very successful corporate executive, he might be found so "attractive" by the very same woman.

Back to the man on the train. He knows that he has money and/or influence, and from experience knows that women like this are available to him almost at a whim. But he has no way to communicate his W or I accurately, and since his A is never usually a problem, he does not understand the impact of its low intrinsic value.

On the other hand men with actual low "W" and "I" values who can produce "virtual high" values for these entities can cause the woman to achieve position "P", since women have no way of differentiating between the virtual and real values of "W" and "I" if "t" is small. A practical example is telling a woman you are a GM (General Manager) when in fact you are a GM (gate man). But this "virtualization" usually work for only a short time ( i.e. "t" must be small).

So we can see that the definition "creepy" is really a non-existent concept, instead it's simply the result of an inability to communicate real or virtual W and I values in a public setting, or the unfortunate consequence of the rare man who has actual low A, I and W values, in which case "P" is very small, null or undefined!
Romance / Re: Romance Novels Making Nigerian Girls Hard To Get by kadeyy(m): 2:52pm On Apr 17, 2007
I don't know what ur "hard to get" means But I suspect u mean girls are not rushing to give u a BJ whenever you say hi to them.

Just kidding!

Fact is, just like every man, every woman carries in her head a sense of self-worth. How high or low this is depends on a whole lot of factors which include most importantly perception of physical qualities, family background, personal achievement and ambition. What fictions they read come in much later. This is the "value" we place on ourselves.

And Just like men, women must be convinced that the individual they are engaging in a mating situation has as much or higher "value" as their own before mating will be successful.

If it takes 1min to convince a woman you are worth her "value", you get her in 1min. If it takes 5years. You don't get her until after 5 years! This law has no geographical boundary.

I've seen ladies fight for my attention because they believe I'm worth their value (I'm personally convinced I'm not worth much at the moment but got lots of potential) and I've received some serious "ISHOs" from less "cool" women because they had no idea of what my "worth" is.

I'll post a formula that summaries the calculus of attraction if anyone is interested.

Politics / Re: Why Can't Nigeria's Oil Revenue Be Paid Out To Citizens? by kadeyy(m): 1:29pm On Apr 16, 2007
I believe this "sharing" is being suggested as a way of making the people lead a better life. And that's why the idea is fundamentally faulty. The role of managing our national wealth is actually that of the government. Though I love the idea of leaving the greedy politician with less of our money to squander but we all know this a tall dream just as much as what I'm about to suggest, rather unfortunately.

The people of Nigeria and indeed Africa should establish a system of setting specific targets for aspiring leaders.

These targets should be :

1. Based on agreed indices for national growth and development. e.g how many new roads, new colleges, new universities, new stadia, new homes etc to be built every year?

2. Fully defined qualitatively and quatitatively and devoid of jargons and rhetorics thus making performances easily measurable. e.g. rather than say “we want to improve the macro-economy by 10% in one year” We can simply say “We will build 2 million units of family homes in one year” Obviously this will create thousands of job, Hundreds of enterprises, improve peoples purchasing power, and reduce inflation. I guess this is what “improving the macro-economy" is all about.

3. Constitutionally and legally biding on whoever gets to the specified office. This system of setting growth targets must be entrenched in our constitution and every set target passed into law.

For example, assuming we have a legally binding target for the president to deliver 25,000 megawatts of electricity in 8 years, it will be unneccessary for an office seeker to come on the podium and promise 50,000mw. Campaigns will then be based on objective and practical methods of achieving our common goal rather than empty promises.

4. At the end of every term, office holders must be assessed by the level of performance against our collective goals. If goals are reasonably met, such office holders could be rewarded e.g by being allowed to serve again.

5. Leaders found wanting should be punished e.g by impreasonment or death (yes!)

But of course I'm just dreaming, again rather unfortunately!

Computers / POP3 Support For Yahoo Mail by kadeyy(m): 7:07pm On Sep 13, 2006
Pop3 Yahoo At Last!

This tool allows one to POP3 yahoo mail to any client (outlook, mozilla thunderbird, etc). I'm currently using it and it’s amazing.

No one has been able to POP3 yahoo since 2002. I guess they want us to visit the website to access our emails, obviously for sake of their advertisers. But this the internet age where no one can hold any hostages for too long.

Get it here. http://www.ypopsemail.com. There is also a link on the page to “How to configure your client”. Let's hope Yahoo will not find a way around it too soon! grin
Webmasters / Re: We're Working On Online Payment by kadeyy(m): 4:52pm On Aug 19, 2006
I think somebody should just come out with a working online payment solution in Nigeria. Thousands of millionaires (and million nairas) are waiting to be made from online businesses.

Meanwhile, has anyone got a personal experience with interswitch online payment system? I'm wondering if I can use it on an online store I'm hoping to launch soon. Any suggestion will be most appreciated.
