Hello everyone

Please, I just received a DHL notification that my passport is on it's way to the address i indicated for delivery. I didn't receive any email from TLS contact or UKVI. Biometrics was done on August 26. What do you think, from experience? Visitors visa category. Lagos Ikeja application centre.

Good morning.

To err is human, so nothing to worry about. Remedy is to write and submit a letter to that effect- explaining that it was a mistake. You will have to pay them at the tls contact centre (during your biometrics appointment) for the letter to be uploaded.

Good morning everyone.

Please i made an error in my UK visa application. There was a section where i was asked "Have you ever engaged in any other activities which may indicate that you may not be considered a person of good character? I mistakenly selected YES instead of NO.

I have already paid for IHS and even though I've not submitted the application, I am not allowed to go back and edit this section.

Should i proceed with the application or stop entirely?

Please what do you advise i do?

Hello everyone,

Please, aside the checklist, appointment confirmation
and payment receipt, what other documents are to be taken along to TLS contact centre for biometrics appointment? All supporting documents already uploaded. Application centre is Ikeja Lagos. Thank you.

Good afternoon everyone,

Please, I booked a tls contact appointment both for my dad and mum yesterday but haven't gotten an appointment confirmation email for my dad, yet. I booked the appointments differently with flexi option (with same date and time) and paid for each of them and was debited immediately after initiating payments. However, I received an appointment email for my mum the moment I paid but haven't received an email for my dad. I used different emails for their applications. I can see the scheduled appointment on both dad and mum's TLS profile, but I haven't received the email for dad. I understand that the appointment confirmation email is to be printed and shown before biometrics on the appointment date. Please, has anyone been in this kind of situation before? What steps did you take?

I have submitted a complaint form already but do not know how soon they'll respond as their appointment is at the corner. Do they have a contact number?

Or is it possible to write with a pen a small note (to that effect) on the document checklist. Perhaps below "Evidence of Funds"? My biometrics appointment is still upcoming.

Good morning.
Please, I made an omission in my application under "Income and Expenditure"- "Do you have another income or Savings?" Mistakenly, i didn’t tick that I have Savings. However, I uploaded my savings bank statement with good balance. I've already submitted the application form and finally uploaded all documents. What's your advice, please?

Good morning, everyone.

I have a nephew born in the UK to Nigerian parents with temporary resident status. He was born, less than 2 years ago and he doesn't have a Nigerian passport yet, just his birth certificate. Now, I'm in the process of applying for my parents visit visa for my brother's graduation, and I also included in their cover letter that they're excited to meet their grandson for the first time. However, in the application form, there's a section that request for the passport number of people/family members that you know in the UK. Please, how can I sort out that part since my nephew doesn't have a Nigerian passport yet? I'll greatly appreciate your advice.

Hello everyone.

Please, I'd like to ask if it is advisable to apply for the 10 years long term UK visit visa. My 2 year visa has expired. Within the 2 year period, I traveled to the UK for up to 5 times and my stay there on each visit is 3 days on the average. I live within the EU, and have family members in the UK that I frequently visit. I also visit for purposes, like business conferences, etc.

Please, is it advisable to apply for 10 years long term or 5 years?

Hello and good afternoon, everyone.

Please I'll like to ask for your assistance in applying for a visit visa for my parents (who are in their late 60s and early 70s, regarding age). The purpose of visit is to attend my brother's upcoming graduation by November.

1)Aside their personal savings bank statements, property documents and the letter from my brother's University, what documents other supporting documents do I need to attach to prove their relationship- is their marriage certificate enough?

2) They were denied Uk visitor's visa 2 consecutive times around 5 or 6 years ago but the problem is that I forgot the exact dates. Please, what can I do in that regard?

3) They are retired but run a food processing business whose CAC registration has expired for about 5 years now (it will take more than 1.2million naira to reactivate it, which I don't think make sense). Is it necessary/safe to include the information that we have a company in the light of that? Or I should simply mention that we have a family business without mentioning the name of the company. However, there are other company documents like NAFDAC, Standard Organization of Nigeria (SON) inspection documents which are valid and up to date.

4)After filling out the online application form, can I say that I filled out the form on their behalf? That part can be found at the end of the application form and a signature is required to that effect. Is it okay to be transparent and disclose that I (as their son) assisted them to filled out the application and put in my signature? What do you advise, please?

I'll be grateful for your inputs.

Dear All,

I'm new on this thread. Please, kindly send me the requirements for a visit visa to Abu Dhabi, UAE. I've got an interview/ appointment there by January. I believe I can do the visa processing by myself if I have all the needed information.

Also, what's the processing time for the visa?

Thank you.
