Business / Re: Access Bank Stealing Money From Customers' Accounts by life4all: 2:44pm On Apr 30, 2013
I had the same experience with AccessBank, I sent them an e-mail but there was no response. It was initially #100/ month either you use the account that month or not so they have graduated to #200 now.

I have not done any transaction on that account since almost a year and I do not plan to since I have a better bank that do not need to steal from my account every month.

Romance / What Makes A Beautiful Wedding Ceremony? by life4all: 4:02pm On Jan 16, 2013
Dear all,

My wedding is few months away and I have been trying my best to put things in shape, though it is not a very elaborate wedding; just the normal engagement, church/reception things.

I would like to know your opinion about what makes a beautiful wedding, how best to cater for the guests, etc so as to incorporate (add/delete) some ideas.

Thank you.

Thanks for this finance option.
However, I would like to know if this option equally covers registered vehicle and not only tokunbos. If yes, please send the cost and pictures of registered Toyota Corolla 2005 to ogracemi@gmail.com.

I think I can afford more than 30% equity contribution.

Thanks.

Health / Re: C-section Delivery: How Many Times Is Too Much? by life4all: 8:54am On Nov 26, 2012
Thanks to the op of this thread.

To the doctors and those who have experienced childbirth, please I would like to know which process is more painful for childbirth, is it CS or the normal delivery?

I planned to have my first baby next year but I dread the painful stories I hear about delivery process so much that I have decided to go for cs when the time comes.

What's your advice please?
Health / Re: Doctor In The House:Obstetrics And Gynecology by life4all: 11:53am On Jan 28, 2011
Good day all.

@ Doctors in the house,

I am 27 years old and not yet married. My menses was to come on the 26th of this month but as at today being 28th, it hasn't come at all.

This is the first time I'm experiencing this in my life, I have not had irregular menses in the past. In fact my last menses came the exact date it should.

Although, I have had yeast infection few months back ( say 4 or 5 months ago) which has been treated and currently, I'm not having any health challenge.

I am also not pregnant because I calculated the date I met with my fiance last and my last ovulation period. To be doubly sure, I use PT strip to carry out home based pregnancy test and it came out negative.

I am veeerrryyy worried, please come to my aid. What could possibly be happening to me?

I need help fast please. I have not experienced this before, this is the third day and its still not coming.

Thanks

Family / Re: Describe Your Dad In Two Words. by life4all: 2:43pm On Dec 22, 2010
Two words are not enough to express my mind.

I was reading peoples' comments on their fathers and I wondered whether they are actually saying the truth.

To me,

I wish I never had a father. He is the worst thing that has ever happened to me (infact to all of us in the family).

You will think he is the best dad when visitors are around.

But God knows why he allowed this man to be my father.

Dear Doc,

Thanks for your usual assistance, God bless you.

I have repeatedly had an STI in the past 3 months. It recurs after any sexual act after each treatment.

I am 26 years and not married. My guy was treated once too.

The symptoms I see are:

It feels a little itchy, cheese - like discharge with no foul odour.

I just concluded another treatment and would like to know the necessary tests to go for so as to be sure that this infection has not affected my fertility.

I am eargerly waiting for your response.

Thanks.

Health / Re: Doctor in the House: Free Medical Advice Available by life4all: 12:37pm On Feb 03, 2009
@ naijaking,

Thanks for the reply.

I'm a female like you said, 24 yrs , 55kg , 4.5ft and a student in one of the Nigerian Universities. No family history of any sickness and I've never had any medical / surgery history. The only time I was hospitalised was like 5 years ago when I had typhoid fever.

I hope I've been able to answer the question.

Waiting for your reply. Thanks
Health / Re: Doctor in the House: Free Medical Advice Available by life4all: 12:10pm On Jan 30, 2009
Hi docs,

pls I need ur advise.

Sometimes ago( like 4 yrs back), I had a feeling dt was painful on my chest (at d upper region of my breast) and which I compalined to a doctor and another pharmacist differently. They both examined me and said nothing was wrong. The doctor gave me one pain reliever and advised me to stop sleeping face - down( i.e sleeping on my chest).

The pain went away but recently (probably 1 month ago). I started feeling the pains again (though I still sleep face down after the pain had gone) and I examined my self but couldn't find anything. An elderly woman also checked me and said there's nothing on my breast and that I should stop putting on bras that has all this tiny metals in them.

I stopped as she said and I felt relieved for like one week. Since the beginning of this week, I've started having this same feeling again. I do examine myself everyday and nothing has been found different.

Pls what can I do?

To medical experts in the house (or anyone with a clue),

Pls, is there any thing like exercise, particular nutrient, drug or otherwise that can be used to enhance one's height?

I'm short and it bothers me a lot.

I am like 4.5 ft in height. Infact, if its just to be 5 ft, its ok by me.

Any suggested solution please?
Nairaland / General / Re: What Do You Not Like About Yourself? by life4all: 3:42pm On Nov 27, 2008
I'm a lady that's neither slim nor fat (as in very moderate), accurate back and front with a very good attitude but something bothers me always, I'm short.

I'm like between 4ft - 4.5ft and would have loved to be like 5 - 5.5ft .

I don't know if there's anything I can do to increase my height because it gives me heartache a lot.

Apart from height, I envy myself.

Romance / Pls Help A Confused Heart by life4all: 5:18pm On Oct 15, 2008
Hi all, please my story may seem too long but bear with me.

There is this guy I've been dating from University days(we graduated together this year). We spent so much time together cos we attended same institution and promised to marry each other. The guy had a project while in school that cost lots of money and time which we did together by combining our pocket money, sleepless nights, etc to make it succed. There was this day we were together as usual and the guy told me that hope I knew that my 1 naira is not in what he was doing.Surprisingly, I had to show him all where I contributed my financial, moral and academic knowledge to his project and he apologised that it was just a joke. About a month later, one of his friends called me that the guy told him I have no kobo in all he has done and which he(friend) himself knew was not true and that he tried to correct my guy yet he insisted that he then told my guy that even if I had not contributed anything he should at least give me respect in the presence of his friends which my guy never discussed with me till today.

We graduated from school and went to our homes around May this year (though we are still in the same state but different cities) and the relationship seem to be going. Gradually, I started noticing changes of different forms which I made him realise but yet no improvement instead, things were getting worse.

When I couldn't cope with it again,I had to tell him that it's better we let go but he insisted that nothing of such. Then I refused calling him or making any contact still he didnt show as if he cares. About 2 weeks ago, himself and his cousin called me and begged me for hours that I shouldn't leave the relationship bla bla bla.

My people, honestly I loved the guy that was why I put my all in the first place but this issue of "you dont have a contribution" makes me hate him than I ever loved him cos the project is not yet executed which means if I continue with him'I must see to the completion of that project.

If I insist on not going back, hope my heart is free cos I dont want a situation whereby we'll see each other later in life and will not be able to talk to ourselves and if I go back,by the time his dreams come true, won't I regret ever marrying him in my life?

Pls your sincere contribution is needed . Thanks
Health / Can Someone Tell Me If I Am Still D Same by life4all: 1:03pm On Sep 20, 2008
Good day every1.Though I've always been a guest on ds forum but just registered today. I want to explain my problem/fear if someone out there can help me.
I've been a friend to ds guy since my 2nd year in the university (abt 2 yrs ago) and after sometime, we ended up having a relationship.
I "was" a virgin all this while which the guy knew but around May ds year, we did something stupid though it has not happened again since then.
We had fun so to say but I wasn't too sure if he really did it. Though there wasn't any traces of blood which made me believe all was still well but i read an article later in which I found out that one might be disvirgined without blood coming out.
The issue now is that I don't know if I'm still a virgin or not. Is there any way/ test by which I can know or can anyone pick it from my analysis above?
Pls I need urgent and candid reply as this thing is on my heart since and I can't picture it out if I am a virgin or not.
Thank you all.
