Travel / Re: Lagos Red Line Rail Begins Partial Operations (Pictures) by Lokostar01: 10:01am On Aug 29
leodregat:

The trains are used trains Sanwolu purchased in Canada and the news was shared on nairaland when he went for the purchase.

The intercity rail system was first initiated by Governor Bola Tinubu in 2003 under "Lagos Urban Transportation Project". Besides the BRT network, the rail network never took off as it was postponed multiple times by successive governors until Sanwolu.
get your facts right the train coaches are from Milwaukee in the USA. It was built for a company but the deal was later cancelled and Lagos state government saw it and took over it as a cheaper option so stop your misinformation

Hunger is really tearing people apart.its an indication of ignorance if they are tired why not vote for pdp instead of wasting the votes, also party doesn't determine a good candidate LP members in the national assembly how far? It's high time we start looking beyond parties and go for candidates we are convinced would do well. I come in peace

Kukutente23:
You may not like OBJ but he's spitting facts here!
There's no decent society that will allow the travesty whereby a known politician played host to bullion vans on the eve of elections and not have him locked up behind bars for election malpractice and vote buying.
The terrible irony is that same individual is sitting atop the pyramid today. So let's see who will talk against vote buying now.
Also with him is a man who claimed to single-handedly purchase nomination forms and handed them over to his surrogates like a man gifting kids akara.
He should be guilty of abuse of office but what do you know about laws in this part of the universe.
They certainly dobale and even roll on the floor for some persons.
I like you are of the genz if not you should know that obj will be their chairman in the jail, maybe you are still small between 1999 to 2007

You people can't just say anything reasonable without mentioning Lagos a federal government project & a no man's land collectively built by all Nigerians and even Foreigners.. This Lagos that will be shared accordingly when the time reaches. It's hard for you to mention other SW states like Osun Ekiti and the rest. You hardly see a hausa person bragging about owernship of Abuja another government project.
Abuja is not own by hausa, it is own by Gbagyi and Nupe people

My problem is not even with your fuel subsidy removal, but the level of corruption in this government is matched to non.
Why not cut the cost of governance in Nigeria? A Nigerian sanator's weekly allowances is enough to feed 5 thousand hungry Nigerians for a year. Politicians are cashing out in billions everyday while you advice the masses to endure.
he doesn't have power to cut lawmakers salary he can only appeal to them because they decide what they earn, Obasanjo caused it by allowing them to earn jumbo salary when he was also looking for favor from them

I told Pple celebrating Ignorantly that Local Govt Autonomy will NOT achieve Anything. sad sad

A Local Govt Chairman can still Embezzle funds and you can't do him Anything. undecided
You can do something because they are not covered by immunity they can be picked up by efcc, even if they are going to embezzle the money they can not do it alone that way the money trickles down to local people, most governors don't give a damn about some local government. Let me give an example of Kaduna state I am when the immediate past governor came he told them he is interested in urban renewal so he only concentrate on about 5 local government and denied the rest government projects. So understand the importance of LG autonomy

He just proved to us that truly, one MUST be brainless to be a BATerian, agbadorian or Agbadoist.

Last year, they polluted the air with their propaganda that dangote will crash the price of pms.

He is celebrating the buying of 24million barrels from the USA and the selling of "PMS" in Europe by dangote. I tell you that these guys abhor Nigeria
They do not wish this country any good.

Do they understand economics? Sorry, no brains to do so.
I has never sold a drop of pms to any country it is called single train refinery because you can delay production of some certain products which is what is happening to pms. It will start bringing out pms in four to five weeks time
Business / Re: From Next Month, Nigeria Would Have No Need To Import Petrol - Dangote by Lokostar01: 9:52am On May 18
Whalis:
What is happening in Nigeria is too deep and complex for people to understand.
For those asking me questions let me add a little clue.
Dangote can never refine petrol in Nigeria with the price below 700. He won't break even. The only way is for FG to deliberately increase the price as it is presently. That is the only way Dangote can step in.
give us empirical facts you used in arriving at 700.

The clown speaking on behalf of ohanaeze should shutup. Why should Umahi use ethnic card to respond to Obi and turns a blind eye to that of Atiku?

Isiguzoro is on the payroll of APC to cause problems in Ohaneze, he is an imposter.
Because northerners are not criticizing the project and attacking people on social media. No Northerner is supporting atiku
