Business / Re: Warri Refinery To Shut Down by ModestSam(m): 12:13am On May 28, 2009
Didn't know there was a refinery in Warri.
Is there any other refinery in Nigeria?

P.S. Having a car sitting on it's rims doesn't qualify one among car owners.
Politics / Re: Foreign Embassies Should Stop Giving Visas To Politicians by ModestSam(m): 11:26pm On May 27, 2009
The foreign embassies wouldn't dare deny them visas, as they need their looted funds in their economy.

All the mechanics I know are always looking for ways to reap one off. Some of these mechanics are known to remove parts from vehicles, just so that you would return to them with the same problem, or another problem.
This is why I'm looking for a Chrysler service center, as I would have a warranty on whatever service they render.

Thanks mate for the info.

Technology Market / Internet Fraud By The Telecommunication Companies In Nigeria by ModestSam(m): 5:33am On Mar 01, 2009
Just wondering why the telecoms industry is allowed to get away with defrauding Nigerians on a daily basis.
Despite the exorbitant monthly internet charges, the service is abysmal at best, and the only response one gets from the customer service seems to be 'tough luck'.
I think we ought to let these 'thieves' know we wouldn't let them get away with this any more, and I would need as many people as possible with me on this.

Looking forward to your responses.
Politics / Re: There Is Probably No God. Now Stop Worrying And Enjoy Yourself. by ModestSam(m): 1:11pm On Feb 01, 2009
The advert could be right, who knows.
In my opinion, the only thing you should concern yourself with is philantrophy for all, business with some, and religion for yourself.
If everyone can follow this simple rule, then we would all co-exist happily ever efter.
Politics / Re: Lagos State Governor Introduces Modern Transportation System For Lagos State by ModestSam(m): 1:01pm On Feb 01, 2009
I guess you expect people to press on with whatever they think, be it right or wrong. That would be a stupid position to take.
Why would you just follow a leader blindly, regardless of what he is doing? You should encourage him when he tries to improve the living standard, and criticize him when he wastes our resources on useless and PR projects that wouldn't benefit the masses.

i_laugh:

and make sure he doesnt listen to any of such meaningless avocados - i thought this was going to raise so much meaningless discourse like the CCTV thing did!
Just so you know, I'm against the CCTV projest as well, as CCTV is meant to complelement the actions of the police force on the ground, not to replace it.
Politics / Re: Breaking News: Yar'adua To Proceed On Two-week Leave by ModestSam(m): 2:47am On Jan 26, 2009
Just who's paying for all these "breaks"?
I still can't understand why these idiots (leaders) think it's their right to be in such positions of power, and not a privilege.
If not, why must he continue by all means possible. Like his campaign manager said, "it is a do or die affair".

The man has actually tried

Please list what he has managed to accomplish in over 20 months in office.
Would be patiently waiting for your response, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
