@smilenw, I think you & ur baby are doing just fine. My baby keeps measuring 2 weeks behind at scan . At my 6 weeks scan, no gestation sac was seen! Infact the Dr. said I shld get ready for evacuation. But I held on to my confession. At my 7 weeks scan, a gestational scan measuring 4 weeks was seen. At my 12 weeks scan she measured 12 weeks. At my 20 weeks scan she measured 18 weeks. At my 27 weeks scan she is measuring 25 weeks, 2 days. I know its tempting to google but must of the information tht comes up are always negative! Stay positive & confess positively.
@Diamondluv, uhmmmm, I apologize ahead of time if this post comes out harsh. But I really feel like spanking you! Did you wait & cry & fast before u conceived? I can understand you crying & lamenting about how ill you are. But I wld beseech you not to question & talk to God like the way you did in ur previous post. Have an attitude of thanksgiving instead of complaint. I waited over 2 yrs before I cld conceive. It is not an experience I wld want my enemy to go thru. 2 yrs is short a time compared to how long some other pple have waited. Hundreds of women wld not mind being strapped permanently to a hospital bed with drips just for them to be in ur position.
We been redeemed from the curse of bringing forth in agony, Jesus bore all our pains and sickness. You have to believe these words in ur heart & confess them with ur mouth. (Not saying them with un-believe in ur heart) Sorry am sounding very religious, but Aigboma wld understand where I am coming from. God moved me from the thread of TTC to the thread of Pregnant. Have a grateful and thankful heart, even while throwing up or in ur weakness, still thk God for the gift of life growing in you. I wish u cld send me ur number so I can talk to you. My colleague at work has been crying since she read ur post, she actually feels like strangling you. She has been TTCing for about 6 yrs. I don't want to say more things cos am already vibrating here! PLSSSS BE STRONG AND BE THANKFUL TO GOD.

You need to start confessing positively morning & night.

I use supernatural child birth & MFM prayer booklet. They have wonderful confessions and it works.

Pple dont believe it's my 1st pregnancy.

I had bitter kola during my 1st trimester and it was fine. It really helped me. I did a lot research on it. It does not have as much caffine as the kolanut.
Really, everything should be in moderation. One piece usually lasted me for a week. Just cut off a bit and pop into the side of ur mouth. You don't have to chew it. Just suck it.

2nd trimester is wonderful! At a point (Btw 15 weeks - 18 weeks), I thot I was not pregnant again, cos I hard no symptom. From 19 weeks, I started feeling the flutters which has grown to mild kicks now. I had round ligament pain but that is tolerable.

Am doing great, except for the occasional feet swelling which happens in the evenings when I have to stand and cook. My face has also sooooooo totally changed!

I have a confession!

I have not been taking my vitamins oh. But I eat well. All least 4 servings of fresh fruits and green vegetables everyday. I take skimmed milk for the calcium.

Baby is doing well so far. I just can't stand the drugs.

I know my hubby very well. And yes I believe him, the moment I got pregnant, our peacefull, loving home became a battle field! As though some forces were angry at us for finally conceiving. My marriage is nt so young oh. We waited for almost 2 yrs before I conceived. We wld be 3 yrs this yr.

But the truth is that a lot of women marry for the wrong reasons, they see the signs before marriage but tend to foolishly ignore it.
It's not my hubby's nature to cheat, he was tempted and he fell. I pray for him all the time to be strenghtened in his inner man.

I was about 10 weeks pregnant when I stumbled on my hubby kissing and smooching another babe at a car pack. Information got to me from the security men that my hubby has been doing that for about a week. They said, he locks his office doors sometimes.

I was very hurt. I didn't sleep at home tht night. The worse was tht he initially did nt apologize & tried to deny it. I moved back home the next day & pretended that nothing had happened.

2 days after, he came begging, tht he was terribly sorry. He cried & wept like a baby. He said, he did nt know what came over him. He said, with my throwing up & newly developed moodiness he felt a repulse & sort comfort in the hands of his colleague. He is very much a xtian oh! If he fell, then any man can fall too.

Well, I forgave him & we are very happy.

Ladies, its easier to say u wld divorce the man immediately. I also said so, but when it happened to me, I remembered all the gd times we had had together, i remembered how we had bought suffered and conquered. I did nt want to get defeated & let another woman ruin my home. I chose to forgive him.

I learnt that as women, we are stronger than men when it comes to keeping ourselves. Men can get easily distracted, they love us their wife but at the same time, they want to have quick flings. Also, I noticed the single ladies go to any length seducing young married men! They tend to develop feelings to married men after their wife have brushed them up!

Ladies, please always pray for your hubby as they actually go through a lot of temptation. They are easily moved by what they see!

80 pounds! wao. I have gained 19 pounds so far and am just 22 weeks preggi. Most of the weight I gained was in my 1st trimester. I feel better better knowing am nt the only one that gains.
My friend is 30 weeks preggie, and she is still as skinny as ever.

First, you should register your wife for ante-natal.

I am about 20 weeks now, and I also have such symptoms as your wife.

1. I drink a lot of water , 2 liters - 2.5 liters of water every day, this helps the swelling , I also take a banana every morning, raise my legs up when I sleep.

2. She should sleep with pillows to support her back, sit upright.
3. Help her massage her joints and fingers.

@Aigboma, We thk the lord for his mercies. Yes oh, I felt the move 2 weeks ago! I thot I had worms moving in my tommy lol.
My mother in law recommends I use Huggies and Johnson's product. She is much more excited than I am.

According to my LMP, am meant to be 19weeks, but when I went for my 12 week scan, baby measured a week, 4 days behind. I went for another scan today, and baby is still measuring behind, that is 17 weeks, 5 days. The sonographer said there is nothing to worry about as baby was moving and looked very fine.
Does this occur all the time?
Also, what is the best diaper & baby toiletries to use. am in nigeria. thks.

I was such a tom boy while growing up. I always dressed in shorts and trousers. Climbed trees & gates, played football with the other boys While in school, I always wore a shorts under my school gown and sat with boys. My was always low. Not until after my 4th year in Uni. tht I started wearing dresses.

No one put thots in my head and they all let me be. Today am happily married and expecting our first child.

In sept, hubby and I decided to see a gynea at OMNI hospital lagos. The results were bad, I was not ovulating, had a blocked tube, hubby had very low sperm count with very poor motility.

Dr. Osagie said, our chances of conceiving naturally was 5% that we shld try IVF. We started saving up immediately and planned to start treatment Jan. next yr.

We went for a second opinion at County hospital , Ogba and the report was not better. We started doing a lot of prayer, fasting, taking food to the motherless babies. Nov 29th/30th, I expeted my period BUT it did nt come. I thot it was delayed due to stress. My boobs started hrting and became sore, hubby took me for a pregnancy test and it came out positive! we weNt for a confirmatory test and it was positive. I went for my first anti natAL natal yesterday and all is well.

If you say you are born again, you have to believe without doubt or confusion that JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY, he is not a way!

I don't care how you want to reason it logically, but any religion or denomination that does not believe that JESUS is the only way to God, then they are still unsaved. No matter how nice their doctrine or believe may be.

If you claim you are a christian, but still believe that other religions that does not profess JESUS AS LORD AND MASTER serve the same God as you do, am sorry but you have to go back to the basics and check your Christianity. You have to believe in your heart, and confess with your mouth that JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY, THE TRUTH AND LIFE.
