Sports / Benitez Defends David Luiz by mrofficial2(m): 6:33am On May 08, 2013
Chelsea interim boss Rafael Benitez has launched a vigorous defence of David Luiz after Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson accused the Brazilian of acting like a 'dying swan'.

Benitez will be sad to leave ChelseaPolice to investigate Benayoun abuseBenayoun suffers Twitter abuseHazard back for ChelseaBenitez expects Mourinho to returnSchurrle strongly linked with Chelsea Luiz has established himself as a key player in the Chelsea UEFA Champions League-chasing side which secured a 1-0 Premier League win at Old Trafford, but has been criticised for his role in the dismissal of his Brazil team-mate Rafael.

After being kicked by Rafael, Luiz was seen on the ground and smiling - his defence was that his smile was as a result of supporters' taunts over his likeness to The Simpsons character Sideshow Bob, who also has a mop of curly brown hair.

Luiz will not face any action from the Football Association over the incident.

Asked if he was aware who Sideshow Bob is, Benitez said: "I'm aware David Luiz is one of the best players in the Premier League, by miles - miles away from a lot of players. He's one of the best, without doubt.

"If we're talking about that, we're not talking about Chelsea beating United, doing much better in three games - two in Old Trafford.

"We did really well. The substitution of Fernando (Torres) was an offensive player on the pitch.

"Mind games. Nobody was talking about mind games after the game. Then we start talking about this.

"I don't agree. David Luiz was laughing because the fans were abusing him.

"After was the red card (for Rafael). It was very clear, the timing.

"If we continue talking about this, instead of trying to eradicate the bad tackles that you can see every week, I think we're giving importance to something that is not as important.

"I don't like this situation, but we are talking about one of the best players in the Premier League."

The suggestion was Benitez believes Ferguson was trying to cover up for his team's failings in the contest.

Benitez added: "I prefer to talk about football, tactics, all the other things. Not about that."

A television reporter also showed Benitez a picture of Sideshow Bob, but he refused to allow Luiz to be mocked.

The Spaniard said: "My job is to try to point out one of the best players in the Premier League. We have to respect him."

It is not the first time Luiz has attracted criticism.

In recent months some robust challenges and flaying limbs, particularly elbows, have made contact with players.

Benitez believes it is more important to crack down on dangerous tackles.

He said: "One thing is to protect (the ball), the other to hit someone with the elbow. He's trying to protect.

"There are a lot of tackles every single game that can break ankles and legs and nothing happens.

"But when you try to protect the ball or smile, it's the end of the world. There are more serious problems than just a player laughing."

Benitez also feels his players did not get the credit they deserved from winning at Old Trafford, as the result was overshadowed by Ferguson's reaction to Rafael's dismissal and subsequent comments on Luiz.

It was the third time Chelsea and United have met since Benitez's appointment and Ferguson's men are still to taste victory.

"After winning a massive game for us, to get three points, to be in very good position, as a manager I don't need to waste too much time talking about what someone said or what they did," Benitez said.

"We have played three games against United and nobody gave credit to the team for the great job we did.

"For me the players did really well, fantastic job, great game. After 65 games still competing, running a lot and playing well. That's the priority for me. For us getting three points was the most important thing."

Chelsea also beat United in a FA Cup quarter-final replay.

After the original tie at Old Trafford, Benitez complained Ferguson had not shaken his hand, but the pair did acknowledge one another at the replay in London.

"He (Ferguson) came to Stamford Bridge and I met him and wished him a safe journey," Benitez said.

"I don't think it's an issue. The issue for me was that he didn't shake hands before the first game but nobody said that."

Sincere 9gerian: Asari Dokubo is a citizen of this country and is entitled to his opinion. Beside the fact that he comes from the same part of the country as GEJ, he is not in govt, neither does he speak for GEJ. He is not an elderstates man and I dont think he has ever worked for any govt.

In a situation were prominent citizens from the far north, like former VP Atiku and others, had in the past threatened fire if power does not return to the north, the statements credited to citizen Asari Dokubo is not unexpected.

In Nigeria a COMATOSE Yar Adua (probably on hospital support machine in far away Saudi hospital) would easily win the PDP primary ticket and sweep the polls in a general election while a vibrant GEJ would sweat to secure PDP primary ticket and work very hard before winning a general election. What is the difference between Yar Adua and GEJ? The only difference is their ethnicity and religion. This is the reality in our Nigeria.

Statements credited to Asari are not right in sane countries but this is Nigeria where almost everything revolves around ethnic and religuous sentiments.

The ethnic and religuous politics of our founding fathers has remained with us till date.

Look at this criminal supporting his ilk.

Politics / Gunmen Again Kill Another Eight As Bayelsa Insecurity Continues by mrofficial2(m): 12:34am On May 06, 2013
Posted: May 5, 2013 - 23:14

By SaharaReporters, New York

Bareley one month after an ambush on a convoy of 50 policemen on escort duty, gunmen suspected to be ex-militants have reportedly killed eight persons in Lorbia community of Southern Ijaw Local Government Council Area. That is the same Bayelsa community where 12 policemen lost their lives on April 6.

It was gathered that among those killed were five ex-militant youths who embraced amnesty under the leadership of Pastor Rebuen Wilson, a former militant leader. Wilson reportedly lost his 37-year old younger brother, Judah Benaibi Wilson, in the attack. Security sources have described the incident as a clash of rival gangs.

Contacted, Mr. Alex Akigbe Police spokesman for Bayelsa Command said that while the command has received a report of the shoot-out, he was unlikely to have a detailed briefing until tomorrow.

The Media Coordinator of the Joint Task Force in Niger Delta, Lt. Col. Onyeama Nwachukwu, also confirmed the incident but said that the casualty figures were still unclear.

"At about 2am on Saturday, there was an armed collision between two armed groups at Lorbia 1 in Southern Ijaw Area which led to the death of unspecified number of persons,” he said, adding that while the JTF was cordoning a search and rescue operation, the bodies of the dead were yet to be recovered from the waters.

The victims were allegedly lured into the creek and then shot dead by gunmen.

At the Yenagoa home of Wilson, sympathizers were seen discussing after his brother confirmed his loss.
Nwachukwu said the JTF has so far recovered items that include two Ak 47 rifles, One General Purpose Machine Gun, six AK47 magazines, and one speed boat.

Health / Scientists Discover STD More Infectious Than HIV by mrofficial2(m): 12:22am On May 06, 2013
Health officials are warning that two cases of a so-called ‘sex superbug’ have been confirmed in Hawaii.

Hawaii News Now reports that the ‘sex superbug’ is a resistant strain of gonorrhea.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has asked Congress for $50 million to find a new antibiotic to treat the drug-resistant strain of the disease. The first case in the nation was identified in a young woman in Hawaii in May 2011.

Health officials are warning that two cases of a so-called ‘sex superbug’ have been confirmed in Hawaii
The ‘sex superbug’ called H041 was first discovered in Japan in 2011. It spread to Hawaii, and has now surfaced in California and Norway.

Peter Whiticir with the State Department of Health says advisories have been sent to physicians and health care providers around Hawaii to be on the lookout for the resistant strain of gonorrhea.

Doctors are warning that an antibiotic-resistant strain of gonorrhoea, now considered a superbug, has the potential to be as deadly as the AIDS virus.

Gonorrhea is the second most commonly reported sexually transmitted infection in North America.

‘This might be a lot worse than AIDS in the short run because the bacteria is more aggressive and will affect more people quickly,’ Alan Christianson, a doctor of naturopathic medicine told CNBC.

Nearly 30 million people have died from AIDS related causes worldwide, but Christianson believes the effect of the gonorrhea bacteria is more direct.

‘Getting gonorrhea from this strain might put someone into septic shock and death in a matter of days,’ Christianson said. ‘This is very dangerous.’

In a briefing on Capitol Hill last week, William Smith, executive director of the National Coalition for STD Directors, urged Congress to target nearly $54 million in immediate funding to help find an antibiotic for HO41 and to conduct an education and public awareness campaign.

The ‘superbug’ was first discovered in Japan and some health officials have said it could rival AIDS
Although no deaths from HO41 have been reported as yet, experts say avoiding the disease completely is the best course of action.

‘People need to practice safe sex, like always,’ Christianson said. ‘Anyone beginning a new relationship should get tested along with their partner.

‘The way gonorrhea works, not everyone knows they have it. And with this new strain it’s even more important than ever to find out.’

Gonorrhea is a sexually transmitted disease that has been known since medieval times. Sometimes known as ‘the clap,’ the infection can result in painful sores and genital discharge, and is associated with ectopic pregnancies and sterility in both men and women.

Left untreated, gonorrhea can lead to a host of complications including pelvic inflammatory disease, infertility, and blood stream infections.

It also raises the risk for HIV because the lesions permit the AIDS-causing virus easier access to the bloodstream.

Gonorrhea is especially common among people between the ages of 15 and 24.

The disease became curable in the 1940s when penicillin and other antibiotics were introduced. Since then, the medical world has created more new drugs that killed the ever-mutating gonorrhea bacteria.

Health officials said there is the very real prospect that all types of gonorrhea will soon become untreatable
On a state-by-state basis, pockets of the U.S. are seeing giant spikes in the disease. Utah saw a 74 percent rise in gonorrhea cases in 2012, with the trend continuing into the first few months of this year.

In Minnesota, cases rose 35 percent in 2012, according to the state’s department of health, and according to the latest statistics from the CDC, ‘During 2010–2011, 61% (31/51) of states, plus the District of Columbia, reported an increase in gonorrhea rates.’

Cephalosporin, the last available class of antibiotics recommended for the treatment of gonorrhea, has been failing worldwide and there is the very real prospect that all types of gonorrhea will soon become untreatable.

Professor Cathy Ison, head of the National Reference Laboratory for Gonorrhoea in the U.K. told the BBC last week: ‘There is a possibility that if we don’t do something then it could become untreatable by 2015.’

Religion / Every Pastor Who Collects Tithes Is A Thief – Femi Aribisala by mrofficial2(m): 6:29pm On May 05, 2013
As far as many pastors are concerned, the most important scripture of all is not to be found in the word of Jesus. Neither is it even in the New Testament.

That scripture says: “‘Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and try me now in this,’ says the LORD of hosts, ‘If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.’” (Malachi 3:10).

This scripture is drummed repeatedly into Christians on Sundays. However, the only time Jesus mentioned tithing in scripture, he pointed out that it was not a weighty matter of the law. (Matthew 23:23). Hebrews says people only receive tithes “according to the law.” (Hebrews 7:5). It then insists tithing (and everything else under the law) has been annulled: “The former regulation is set aside because it was weak and useless.” (Hebrews 7:18-19). Nevertheless, mercenary pastors continue to insist on the payment of tithes.

Latter-day Pharisees

Jesus rebuked the Pharisees for keeping part instead of the whole law. (Matthew 23:23). That is what tithe-collecting pastors do today. If we insist our congregants must pay tithes, we must also insist that they keep the rest of the law. James says: “Whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all.” (James 2:10). Therefore, if we insist on tithing, we should also refrain from eating pork. We should stone adulterers, execute homosexuals, kill Sabbath violators and restore blood-sacrifices.

Tithe-collecting pastors counter this by maintaining the payment of tithes pre-dated the law. Here Abraham is cited as the cardinal example of someone who paid tithes before the promulgation of the Law of Moses, as did Jacob, his grandson. However, such arguments are disingenuous.

Before the law, tithing was at best an example but not a commandment. Moreover, pastors fail to mention that Abraham only tithed once in his lifetime. When he did, he did not even tithe his own money: he tithed the spoils of war. He gave ten percent of the plunder he took when he rescued Lot to Melchisedec, king of Salem. But then he did not even keep the rest but returned it (all ninety percent) to the king of Sodom.

For his part, Jacob also tithed only once. He did this in a “let’s make a deal” arrangement he offered to God: “Jacob made a vow, saying, ‘If God will be with me, and keep me in this way that I am going, and give me bread to eat and clothing to put on, so that I come back to my father’s house in peace, then the LORD shall be my God. And this stone which I have set as a pillar shall be God’s house, and of all that you give me I will surely give a tenth to you.’” (Genesis 28:20-22). This kind of deal about accepting God only under certain self-serving conditions should certainly not be a term of reference for any serious believer.

Lies upon lies

The first lie pastors tell Christians is what some have referred to as “the eleventh commandment:” “Thou shalt pay thy tithes to thy local church.” But the bible says no such thing. The storehouse of Malachi was not a church. It was a place where food was kept.
Pastors hide from church-members the fact that money was not acceptable as tithe. The tithe was a tenth of the seed and fruit of the land and of the animals which ate of the land. (Leviticus 27:30-32). That is why God says: “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be FOOD in my house.” (Malachi 3:10). He does not say “that there may be MONEY in my house.” The food was used to feed the Levites, the poor, widows, orphans and strangers.

Pastors also conveniently fail to teach the biblical tithe. The principles of tithing were not laid down by Malachi. They were laid down by Moses. The study of Moses’ guidelines quickly reveals that the biblical tithe has no application whatsoever to Christians and is mischievously violated by tithe-collecting pastors today.

According to the Law of Moses, the tithe was divided into three allocations. The first year, it was given to the Levite. The second year, it was given to widows, orphans and the poor. The third year, it was eaten in the company of the faithful before the Lord as thanksgiving for his faithfulness. (Deuteronomy 14:22-28). In the seventh year, there was no planting and no reaping and therefore no tithing.

So the next time your pastor asks you to pay tithe, ask him about the seventh-year reprieve. Also ask him if you can give your tithe to the orphanage, or bring it as food items to be eaten in church. Believe me; he will not agree with you because it is your money he is after.

Inapplicability of tithes

Tithing was only applicable to Jews and to the land of Israel. When large populations of Jews lived in Babylon, Ammon, Moab, Egypt, and Syria, these lands became tithe-able lands. However, tithes were not acceptable from strictly Gentile lands. So you need to ask your pastor how come he is collecting tithes in Nigeria.

Servants or slaves who worked on the land did not tithe because the land did not belong to them. Since only agricultural and animal resources were included, a fisherman gave no tithe of his fisheries. Neither did a miner or a carpenter pay tithes, nor anyone from the various professional occupations. So if you are not a farmer or a keeper of livestock, tell your 419 pastor tithing is biblically inapplicable to you.

Moreover, the only people authorised to receive tithes were the Levites. (Hebrews 7:5). So if your Pastor is a “tithe-collector,” ask him if he happens to be a Jew. Remind him that, even though a Jew, Jesus could not receive the tithe because he was not from the tribe of Levi but from that of Judah.

The trick, of course, is for pastors today to claim we are “Levites.” If your pastor is one such dissembler, ask him if he lives as a Levite. Remind him that Levites had no land and did not have private property. Ask him also how he knows he is from the tribe of Levi, which happens to be one of the lost tribes of Israel. Point out to him that even Jewish rabbis don’t claim to be Levites today because all Jewish genealogical records were lost with the destruction of the Temple in AD 70, ensuring that it is no longer possible to ascertain the true identity of Levites.

Therefore, if Jews no longer tithe because the Levites are a lost tribe, how can Christian pastors collect tithes when we are not even Jewish, how much more Levites? If Jewish rabbis, whose terms of reference remain the Old Testament no longer collect tithes, then pastors who insist Christians are under a New Testament have no business doing so.
The conclusion then is inescapable. Every pastor who collects tithes is nothing but “a thief and a robber.” (John 10:1).

Politics / Nigerians React To Aregbesola Phone Theft Judgment by mrofficial2(m): 9:03am On May 05, 2013
Some Nigerians bare their minds to GBENGA ADENIJI, MOTUNRAYO ABODERIN, ARUKAINO UMUKORO and Tope OMOGBOLAGUN on the recent 45-year jail term given to 31-year-old Kelvin Ighodalo for stealing a N50,000 phone belonging to Osun State Governor, Rauf Aregbesola

‘Justice is on sabbatical’

My opinion on the sentence handed to Ighodalo is simply that of sarcasm. How can stealing a phone attract that length of imprisonment. Even if he is a thief and fraudster, 45 years jail term is simply illogical. It says a lot about the country we are in. Pension-thieves and rogues are however given the opportunities to return a percentage of their loot. In Nigeria, justice is on sabbatical — Paul Onanuga

‘We have bigger thieves’

This can’t be compared to those who steal from the country’s coffers. They should equally serve the same punishment. He should have been given a maximum of seven years with proper rehabilitation — Steve Jebose

‘It’s not fair’

I don’t think that it is a fair judgment, 45 years’ imprisonment for stealing just a phone worth N50,000? Isn’t that outrageous? How about the real big thieves in government? How many of them were really sentenced to jail? A large percentage of our governors have stolen so much of Nigeria’s money. They should be the ones to be sent to jail. The man who stole the phone should be given a jail term equivalent to his crime. For me, 45 years is not fair! I wish someone who thinks straight could look critically into this unfair judgment — Adeyinka Oni

‘Our legal system is weak’

Injustice is in Nigeria and God is watching. All I can say is that there is injustice in Nigeria, only the poor are treated rigidly. Does it mean there is no other minor punishment that could have been given to him? What I don’t understand is this: Was he punished for the crime or was he punished because of the personality he chose to mess with? It shows that our legal system has become weak and partiality is the order of the day — Bose Omobomi

‘We need divine intervention’

We need divine intervention in this nation. This is the time when men need to ask God to take over and uproot every root of evil in the land and our judicial system. No political party can salvage this nation, not even the planned merger. He is still the same God and if only we can turn to Him in true repentance, we will salvage our land and judicial system — Kunle Akinde

‘Crime is crime’

He didn’t only steal the governor’s phone but also used it for impersonation and fraud. That’s a crime to me — Tosin Ayodele

‘Governor should reconsider’

The punishment is not fair. At least the phone has been retrieved. Why give him 45 years? We should learn to pity others. Though stealing is a crime, the governor should give the judgment some thought. — Jaiyesimi Ibukun

Politics / Rivers' Jet: EFCC Probes Amaechi Over Missing $10m by mrofficial2(m): 5:21am On May 04, 2013
Private Jet: EFCC Probes Amaechi Over Missing $10m

The crisis over an aircraft owned by the Rivers State Government deepened on Thursday, as the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission commenced a discreet probe to determine Governor Rotimi Amaechi’s link to the alleged inflation of the cost of the plane by $10m. The aircraft has been the subject of a row between the Rivers State Government and the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority.

It was learnt that the anti-graft agency is looking into the ‘high possibility’ of alleged money laundering in relation to the purchase of the aircraft.

A source said on Thursday that while the state government claimed to have purchased the Bombardier aircraft with $57m, records available to the EFCC showed that it may have been bought for $47m, thereby creating room for suspicion on how $10m was spent.

It was learnt that the state House of Assembly approved the purchase of the controversial aircraft within 24 hours.

It was further gathered that operatives of the EFCC might also be looking into how two aircraft purchased by the Rivers State Government under former Governor Peter Odili were managed.

One of the aircraft was sold to the Cross River State Government while the other aircraft manufactured by a Brazilian firm, an air ambulance, was said to have been phased out.

Investigations further revealed that the company wrote the Rivers State Government to say it was longer manufacturing the spare parts of the aircraft and so it was returned.

A source said the anti-graft agency was probing the management of the aircraft because rather than just phasing it out, it should have been traded in for another aircraft.

It was learnt that a focus of the investigation was to find out if there was any link whatsoever between the new aircraft and the aircraft in the area of cost.

Contacted, EFCC spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren, said he had not been briefed on the matter.

“I’m not aware of this,” he said on the telephone.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority has said that the aircraft it grounded does not belong to the state government.

The General Manager, Public Affairs, NCAA, Mr. Fan Ndubuoke, told our correspondent on Thursday that the aircraft belonged to a private firm, contrary to claims by the Rivers State Government that it owned the controversial plane.

He said, “The document we have does not show Rivers State Government as the owner of the aircraft. The registration is saying that the plane is owned by a company and not Rivers. So it is you people that will ask Amaechi how he came in contact with the aircraft. What is his relationship with the owner of the aircraft? That is his own business and I cannot answer that question for him.

“From the records we have, we have told you the owner of the aircraft. So whether it is from his friend or whoever, is it for me to know? It is not for me to know. Because from our records there is nowhere Rivers State Government is stated as the owner of the aircraft.”

He admitted that the aircraft was registered in the name of Bank of Utah in the United States, stressing that the governor should tell the public what he knows about the controversial plane.

Ndubuoke explained that the plane, before it was grounded, only had approval to move from Accra to Port Harcourt. He wondered why the crew decided to fly to other destinations outside the aircraft’s approved routes.

He said, “The clearance for the aircraft was sought by Caverton Helicopters on March 27. Amaechi did not seek clearance and the Rivers state government did not seek clearance.

The route they were given the clearance to fly was Accra-Port Harcourt-Accra.

“That does not mean it is the only place that they can fly. But that was the route with which they applied for the clearance. So if they now want to fly to Owerri or Akure, they need to reapply for another clearance. That is just the true matter, nothing more, nothing less. Their movement to Akure was illegal because it was not captured in the clearance.”

The Nigerian Airspace Management Agency had last Friday refused to grant approval to the governor’s aircraft to leave Akure airport.

According to NAMA, the development was due to the failure of the pilot of the plane to submit the required manifest of passengers on board. The airspace agency also said it was untrue that the aircraft was grounded by the airspace manager at the Akure airport.

The Managing Director, NAMA, Mr. Nnamdi Udoh, argued that contrary to the politicisation of the incident, the agency carried out its functions in line with the global aviation standard.

He was reported as saying, “By regulation, the manager has no power to clear any aircraft at that time of the day because Akure Airport operates day light operations. Approval must be given through the manager to the tower.”

On Saturday, NCAA had declared that the controversial aircraft operated illegally in the country.

As a result, the civil aviation authority grounded the Bombardier-BD 700 Global Express aircraft with registration number N565RS. It said the plane had an expired clearance approval effective April 2, 2013.

The Director, Airworthiness Standards, NCAA, Mr. Benedict Adeyileka, explained that while the aircraft was still operating illegally, it had been sighted in several places, including Owerri and Akure.

The NCAA also stated that the grounding of the aircraft had nothing to do with the President. Ndubuoke said, “The media always say that government grounded the aircraft because of issues with Amaechi. Reports have it that it was because the President and Amaechi are having problems, and that that was what may have led to the grounding of the aircraft.

“But I don’t know how the President will come from Aso Rock and say ground this airplane. In fact, I don’t how that will happen and I wonder why he will do that in the first place. So what we are trying to say that it is not true.”

Contacted, the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Mr. David Iyofor, said he would not react to speculations about the state government’s aircraft.

“I have no comment on the issue because I cannot react to speculations,” he stated.

However, the Rivers State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Mrs. Ibim Semenitari, in a statement on Friday faulted claims by the Ministry of Aviation that the aircraft was flown into Nigeria with forged documents.

The statement reads in part, “No aircraft can fly into Nigerian airspace illegally and land at various airports within the country unchallenged. The Rivers State Government-owned aircraft has been in operation since October 2012;

“The allegation that a state government would use the name of Caverton Helicopters to obtain various clearances is preposterous and embarrassing;

“The claim that the aircraft insured is owned by Acass Canada Limited of 6700 Cote de Liesse, Suite 206,Montreal, QC H4T 2B5, Canada is a deliberate distortion of facts. An insurance issued to Acass was used for entry into service while flying between Canada and the USA for pre-delivery tests. Rivers State Government took delivery on 5th October, 2012 and duly insured the aircraft and the certificate of insurance duly states this. Please note below:

“The Rivers State Government has been flying this aircraft since October 2012 with this same certificate and with the knowledge of the Ministry of Aviation. The ownership of the aircraft is not in question as we have clearly explained the relationship between the Rivers State Government and the Bank of Utah. “This is a verifiable relationship and is common place in the aviation sector as practitioners and stakeholders know. The Deed of Trust is proof that the aircraft is held in trust by the Bank of Utah on behalf of the Rivers State Government.

“We believe that all administrative procedures should and must be complied with. However, the state government is worried at what is beginning to seem like a witch-hunt of it and related parties that have conducted business with it. We will continue to engage with aviation officials and follow through with all administrative requirements and processes as is most appropriate.”

Also, the Majority Leader in the Rivers State House Assembly, Mr. Chidi Lloyd, explained on Thursday that the current administration traded off two aircraft it met on the ground because they were not durable.

Lloyd added that the state house of assembly approved the purchase of the aircraft based on the durability of the new one.

“When this state government came on board, it met two aircraft on ground. It also discovered that the two planes were not durable. Even the manufacturing company said that particular type had been phased out.

“The current administration decided to trade off the two planes and bought a more durable aircraft currently being used. The aircraft had been on the ground for almost a year, why is it being talked about now?” Lloyd wondered.

funkyfella: But seriously, Mercedes should be sued for this. The G wagon adverts usually show G wagons breaking through walls n all and they tell us Mercedes hardly summersault due to the weight of the vehicle but look at this mess. Damn!!! RIP 2 d departed....Very sad. To the pple blaming it on overtaking, blame it on our failed, corrupt and ineffective government that has failed to provide us with good roads and has lead to the death of a lot more people!!!!!

Who said it somersaulted? It plunged into a river! And how would the weight of the SUV prevent it from Plunging? The report didn't say it overturned while on motion. Once again, It plunged into a river from a bridge! Unless you're just being sarcastic.
