Investment / Invest In The Fast Growing Natural Cosmetics Business by mrskincare(m): 6:47am On Nov 29, 2013
Hello,
Hope u doing good?

I'm sure you all agree that cosmetics has become a part of our daily lives.
The human skin is regarded as the largest organ in the human body.

Therefore, there is a need to take care of this organ every day. I assume that 60% of Nigerians use soap every day. Based on this assumption, about 102 million people use soap daily in Nigeria alone.

Now let me tell you what I have to offer. I'm a young entrepreneur based in Lagos Nigeria. In 2010 I discovered a goldmine. This goldmine has been with us for years. I like to call it "Native African Intelligence"
It is African and above all it is original. It is called African Black Soap.
Then my humble self and 2 partners decided to invest in African black soap and today, by sheer determination, hardwork and a stroke of luck, we have formed an company that is into production of African Black Soap. Our flagship brand is called Oyinlewa Black Soap.

About Oyinlewa Soap
Oyinlewa simply means the beauty of Honey, it is made with a rich blend of natural ingredients like:
Honey, Lime, Sheabutter, Camwood and Palm Kernel Oil.
The factory is located in Ogun State.

It is ideal for all skin types. Keeps the skin fresh and fights skin infections.
Oyinlewa is approved by NAFDAC
It is available in 6 states in Nigeria and also available in Ghana, Gambia, Greece, Botswana and USA. Production began in November 2011.

There's huge market acceptance for natural skincare products. To take advantage of this, we seek to expand our operations to enhance working capital and enhance the brand position.

Majority of our sales come from the export market. This is testimony to the fact that "the sky is the starting point"

We want you to be a part of our success story. We invite individuals (or companies)like you to take a chunk of this potential gold mine. We are poised to take the market by storm.

Detailed business plan and records available for interested individuals on request.

Business / Who Cares About A Young Nigerian Entrepreneur? by mrskincare(m): 10:32am On Oct 13, 2013
Who cares about a young Nigerian entrepreneur?

It all started like every other story.
A young man in the person of Mr Omotayo decides to do some research on natural African cosmetics in line with his instincts. This was at a critical point in his life during the drive to become an entrepreneur. He discovered a lot of African skin care remedies but specifically focused on African Black Soap in the year 2010. African black soap has a long history and is called "Ose Dudu" by the Yorubas and is very common in the Western part of Nigeria. It has been used for centuries in Nigeria. It's methods and secrets have been passed down from generation to generation to keep the soap close to mother nature and avoid exploitation & imitations. Armed with valuable information about black soap and it's benefits, Mr Omotayo decided to start commercial soap production and with support from two business partners, and a reputable consultant. Commercial production started in November 16th 2011 at their factory in Mowe, Ogun State.
It has been a wonderful experience for the Oyinlewa team with the challenges and lessons learnt to date. We have been able to introduce Oyinlewa into various homes, shops and markets within and outside Nigeria. Oyinlewa black soap has spread to various places beyond our wildest imagination and is gaining wide acceptance into the following countries: Ghana, Gambia, Greece and USA.
Oyinlewa; Take a wash on the natural side.

Let's share our stories concerning entrepreneurship and business.
What challenges did you face?

Let's make this interractive. We can also share how to overcome challenges and share the opportunities available in Nigeria.

Fashion / Home Made Facial Treatment For Men And Women by mrskincare(m): 1:17am On Jul 24, 2013
Making a facial mask or scrub at home is quite easy and inexpensive. Your kitchen cabinets may have all the ingredients for natural homemade treatments.

Before starting or using any facial treatment, the first thing to do is to steam your face. This opens your pours and acts as a natural cleanser and it’s like having a sauna treatment.

Have this done once a day to lock in facial moisture, keeping your face fresh and healthy

Make a towel tent over your head          (progressivepioneer.com)

How to Have Homemade Facial Sauna

• Boil some water. You can add lemon and or mint leaves to the water.

• Pour the water into a large bowl –large enough to cover your face.

• Place your face directly over the steam coming from the bowl.

• Place a towel over your head covering the entire area and making sure no steam gets out.

• Steam your face for five minutes. When done, pat dry your face and apply the treatment you have decided to use. Your face will absorb the necessary treatment quickly and faster.

• Warning: Try not to splash your face with the boiled water.

As one gets older ones face tends to lose its lift and having a face lift can be very expensive and there are always risks and dangers involved. You can make your own natural face lift recipe that can give you immediate results you never imagined.

Here are some homemade natural Skin and Facials you might want to try out

Oatmeal, milk and honey some ingredients for faical and skin treatments (bridalfashion07..com)

Honey Mask Recipe

• The best facial mask is honey. If you cannot steam your face then, place a cloth in warm water and apply to your face to open the pores.

• Apply the honey on the entire face, and leave on for 20 to 30 minutes.

• Rinse off with warm water, and then use cold water to close the pores.

• Use once a week.

Kindly share your comments and experience.
Let's share ideas.

@kandiikane from your explanation It could be a reaction. Do you recct to Lemon. Lime or citrus products? Some Black soap contain Lime and this could trigger a reaction especially if the quantity is not right.
Now to the issue of quantity, this could also be a problem. Remember that some producers of black soap do not have the expertise to determine the ideal quantity when mixing up ingredients.
