Mindfulness:

Nothing wrong with you having a preference for women who enjoy doing house chores. It is up to you to choose the woman you want to get married to and to design your marriage the way you want it to be.

However, many people have different priorities and that's fine too. Do you think that Mrs Gates' or Mrs Obama's main responsibility is to do house chores? I am sure they are busy doing more interesting things and yet their husbands do not consider them redundant.

Miss gates and miss obama cultures ...I have seen and met so many people from across the sea who married nigeria men and do their will in terms of house keeping,so you using obama or bill wife is totally out of the equation

Hmmmm! but you did not give any real proof why u will take such a stand as a father. That's what I am eager to hear. Does anyone have a real story to back up these fears about female bank marketers or it's just perception?

After the general elections various newspapers report thousands of bank marketers that throws their bodies to the newly elected members of assembly just for them to have accounts with their bank,in reality there isn't any video evidence, even if there should be,you won't use that to generalise would you...

Two things, either they are afraid she might sell her body just to meet targets....

Or she might ignore her husband and family all in the name of pursuing her career and forget her wify duties...

Kudos to the guy parents, securing their child future and family reputation...and also guiding their son interests

The guy should kindly look for another lady, should I be his dad, there won't be any marriage

Well it seems most nigeria women want contract marriage....

People marry for different reasons, before I marry a lady I must have been told either by her parents or friends how good she is in home keeping...and one of the qualities I search in lady is her ability to take care of the homes and chores...the reasons marriage is so fucke.d up today is that couples have abandoned their roles in marriage,me marrying you I will let you know right from the start that one of. The reasons of me marrying you is because of your homing keeping skills..should you decide to pursue a career or not that is entirely left to you....now matter how we try to make sure that there is balance in marriage,it won't work, some will definitely have to put up with his/her partners bullshi.t...

I maid doing virtually everything that I love to see my wife do automatically make my wife invalid and I will consider such wife as on-important and might as well make the maid my wife...you know your roles and I know mine...I did not marry you to come home by 8pm and watch telemundo till 12 only for you to wake-up this next morning and off you go leaving me at the mercy of a maid all in the process of pursing a career..and you as well is not my slave..I too have roles to play and works to do..

To all you praying and looking for a contract marriage..the kim k marriage type whereby your husband will be paying you some millions of naira every single year that you spend with him...I pray you find such marriage..

Seun please I beg of you...modify any thread from the muslims sections so that people from other religion can give their views...the best you can do on threads like this is to instruct mods to ban anyone that goes against the rules stated here...

Am sure there are thousands of people willing to comment here but can't because of what they have to agree to...the reason this is on front page is for people to give their different views....

Well..op,you have gotten your answers, you can continue with your bum shorts and goat hair and the muslims women and ladys can continue with their lifestyle,@the end of the day,we all know who the society is going to respect most in terms of morals...

It is painful that women go scot free before the law for verbally abusing men (it does not attract a jail term), that is why a man owes himself restraint. He should think beyond the woman and think of his children and his extended family. It takes wisdom to dodge the devil's bullet. Physically hitting out on someone, does not make us stronger.

Should it happen to me,I won't back off so easily...the judge will have to explain to me why verbal abuse can't be taken seriously...I would never allow he/she to go scot free

In your first post, you concluded that the woman verbally abused the husband as if it is a certainty. l will never encourage anyone to be abusive, verbally or physically but they are better ways of resolving issues and should this man get a prison term, will it worth it?

If the man should get a prison term after accusing the woman of insulting him..that totaly unfair to me..but should it be another minor issues, then I have nothing to say about that...my prob is women verbally abusing men and going scot free

l hope what you just posted will make the Court declare him innocent because his wife 'provoked' him. With this mindset, your future son-in-law will be a lucky man as he is entitled to beat up your daughter because she verbally abused him!

My daughter will know that it bad to verbally abuse anybody either male or female just as it is wrong for anybody to physically abuse her apart from self defence...I am sure you won't mind visiting your junior brother someday only to hear his wife abusing and insulting your mother simply because they are fighting

I would take physical abuse by men seriously the day the court takes verbal abuse seriously too

Punishment. There are better ways to keep your child/children grounded.

See them, you need to check your dictionary for the meaning of grounded if it correlate with this write up,I can bet my left balls that if the man wife was a nigeria, she would not allow the man to take such steps...she might even report him to the police...no wonder nigeria men are going after foreign women...

Lol...ladies of nowadays wants a man that will wake them up every morning with a chocolate bar by their bed side....you can call me a cave man for all I care

In marriage we all have different roles to play, and the moment you start neglecting your roles all in the name of civilisation, then you expect and accept anything that comes your way..if I were the man,I would have also taken the same decisions but I won't go to courts...I would do it the traditional way...call both families we both speaks our minds and they decide either we go our way,our I marry another wife that would be willingly and eager to respect her own part of the bargain...

Most of these obligations that are expected of men to women will only happen if it is a contract marriage and that will only happen if there is gold in your honey pot...

As par the make-up stuff..your fada,na me go pay for your make-up...

in this present age and time...this best decisions a financially stable man can make is to get a surrogate and have your own kids....we all know who needs marriage most...I for example won't mind using a surrogate...that way, there would be no nagging, inlaws trouble or one bitc.h waiting for you to die so as to inherit your properties...
