Iran is an experienced war country.. Attacking Israel is to flex their strength as a top warring zone. I want to believe they did this because of their alliance with Russia. And I want to believe that Russia will come through for them, even as they are still recovering from war.

In the 6day war, Russia who was not involved in any war at the time backed Egypt and Syria against Israel. The Israelis still won the war.
Iran has played into Isreali hands.
Why launch an attack with no element of surprise?
Okay, they urgently need to prove to Hezbollah and the other members of their so-called 'axis of resistance' terrorists that they have their back.
They forget that they are the only member of that axis that is a state and not an organisation.
They will soon know what they have put their hand into. They should prepare those their nuclear weapons o. This is not an occasion for throwing knock-out.
Pray, Israel should not add regime change to their objectives.

If protest could not change the price then after two governments, do you think protest can change it now?
He tried it once,it didn't work. Let us try prayer this time. Even America called for national prayer when Apollo 11 seemed to have problem. A shit hole country needs help from God more than ever before.

You say?
After the protests, did the then president not revert the prices?

Education / Re: Why I Appointed 50 Aides - UNICAL First Female SUG President by otomatic(m): 10:38am On Aug 08
DrAda:

I honestly cannot fathom what the issue is.

Majority of the persons here on this platform are not necessarily worried about the number of aides but the costs that they perceive will be incurred forgetting that noone will be paid at the end of the day.

Oh well, let's hope her decision to engage more people will yield positive outcomes.

You truly believe there will be no payments!
These appointees will be incurring spurious expenses in lieu of payment.

Don't you think that you are misrepreeenting facts? What exactly do you think political appointments are? Going by your logic, even the aides appointed to cater to the students in this one university are political appointments as well.

Now sit back and think of every current political appointment made in this country, down to the schools, churches, markets that cater, like you put it, to the needs of 200M -+ citizens. I am pretty sure it will run into hundreds of thousands.

No I am not misrepresenting. School is for learning different things and if this works for the SUG, then she has learnt a template for future use if she is in public service.
She should be learning how to cut down cost of governance instead of ballooning it.
She can chose to work with departmental or faculty leadership instead of these many apointments

Leadership at all levels of our society is bedevilled by 'military hangover' even after so many years of democracy.
The generation that lived through military rule need rehabilitation.

DrAda:
She had a valid reason. Besides all appointments were voluntary.

Catering to the needs and welfare of 42,000 students in 110 departments is no joke. I would have appointed more.

Even the SUG presidency is voluntary.

If we then look at a country with 200M+ citizens and hundreds of thousands of villages and hamlets, then more political appointments need to be made. At least 1 per hamlet.
Truly, a people deserves the leadership they get.

What an inspiring message.
It shows the lack of direction of the whole charade.

Some people get drunk to forget their worries which jn this case is lack of moneybto put food on the table. Don't you know that the sachet Is cheaper than food?
Some get drunk to have courage to face their struggles.

Sincerely the policy is a good one and will help in curbing crime but the police doesn't need to charge citizens for this. The police has a long history of extorting Nigerians and this is seems to be another way.

Nigeria jaga jagaban

The motor licensing offices need to be digitized such that the police only need to plug into their database for checks, not to start another scheme which is more driven by revenue generation than effective policing.

implication now is that FG Now controls whoever is elected LG chairman, The FG will easily select and this Gives APC candidates more advantage, so we expect even fubara chosen ones I mean the few ones he can influence to Rebel against him.....and join with APC FG....of course the FG will dangle the carrot....VERY INTERESTING....when a child is tall like the father, he got no experience and tricks like the father..

Calm down. The state electoral commission is still responsible for LG elections and you know who calls the shots there.

Besides, it is not just Rivers state that will be affected. That state was not targeted.

From whom did they harvest the data?
Is it the data subject that provided the data or NIMC?
NIMC is in breach of the Nigerian data protection regulation and deserve to be sanctioned.
Their unscrupulous staff sold out our private data for percuniary gains.
An internal investigation should reveal the staff involved because IT audit will show the trail.

Shebi him de import crude oil. Prices will be affected by FX volatility. But that aside, even if crude was locally sourced like the inputs for cement, once he achieves near monopoly ( read market leader) status, na to de fix price up and down with him cartel.
