they are only changing the narrative because Nigeria decided to let go of the past

The same people who claim victims will also chest beat in another thread of how they killed Nigerian soldiers like fowl

When they want sympathy they remember biafra.

When they want to chestbeat, they remember the Nigerian soldiers they massacred and killed. grin

So why didn't the military face their armed rivals ? Why bomb innocent civilians at markets, hospitals and schools?

Why starve the general population if it wasn't a genocide or you were not told all these?
so u are fighting someone n u still want him to give u food,u must b a comedian

1. The biafrans took over port Harcourt because of the oil and Nigeria ceased it because it is Nigeria property. The british discovered the oil and Nigeria paid for exploration and was in partnership with shell.

2. The president was Nnamdi Azikiwe and prime minister was Tafawa balewa ( who was eventually killed by igbo coup plotters)

3. The anti igbo sentiment happened when tafawa and the sarduana were killed.

4 Aguyi ironsi was the top ranking officer and took over after the death of tafawa, and he became the first military head of state in Nigeria.

5. You can't call a war genocide because both sides died in the war, the genocide story is FAKENEWS

1. Oil well was captured by Biafran Soldiers during the war. It was in 1969. So lying that Biafra took over oil well being reason for Biafra war shows that the North can't say anything truthful.

2. A person from Biafra origin was the president of Nigeria, Tarawa Balewa was the prime minister. He was overthrown by the Nigerian Army and not the Igbos. If not, Aguiyi wouldn't have been recognised as a military head of state in Nigeria history.

3. The Anti Igbo Progrom/ Genocide was carried out by both military and civilian of Northern origin. In a sane society that Aguiyi was recognised as head of state, the soldiers would have faced charges for mutiny and murder. But no. You guys were on killing spree. Killing innocent people instead of facing the soldiers that killed the people you mentioned. That is Genocide. You still didn't stop after you killed the head of state, Aguiyi, that benefited from the coup that led to the death of the people you mentioned. That is Genocide. You took over properties of people you killed. That is Genocide. Mind you, the civil war has not started when all these were going on. So define genocide again.

4. Genocide is not the war. The war started after Ojukwu declared the eastern region republic of Biafra. Why did he declare the republic of Biafra? Because of the Genocide going on. The declaration halted the genocide giving the remnants that escaped to and those in the east to take a stand against the government of Gowon that benefited from the coup that killed Aguiyi.

You can only do propaganda against the Igbo. But deep down, you know the truth. No matter what the Igbo people have gone through, they still remain a group you can't compete with on a level playing ground. The only weapon the north has is population you people gained from religious manipulation of your people.

1. Nigerian oil was captured by biafra and Nigeria took what belongs to her.

2. The coup was organized by an igbo man who killed tafawa and let his own kinsman Nnamdi Azikiwe alone. If the coup does not have a tribal underling, how come no igbo leaders were killed.

3. It is not genocide when the igbos massacre northern leaders and killed southern leaders but it is genocide when a backlash happens on igbos.

You can not project the truth to me, your one sided and bias history is not the truth to me.

Is this why it was the Igbo a biafra that surrendered or you are trying to be foolish like many of your tribesmen live to argue.

The starvation of women and children is what is the genocide, in the battleground there was no spectacular achievement of the Nigeria military , the lost the whole of the second division twice and the 90% of the 3rd marine commando

What marginalization and killings?
The igbos are all over Nigeria trading without being attacked.

There are lot of minorities who are marginalized but we don't hear their voice but the people who are the most employed in the federal government are claiming marginalization and nepotism.

Maybe Nigerians who died during the civil war need some remembrance because it seems the so called remembrance seems to be one sided.

Nigerians should remember them while we remember ours. It's so simple isn't it?

The starvation was carried out by ojukwu himself. If there was no war, there won't be starvation

And if there was no starvation, there would be continued progorom. Do you understand?

Most of the people who fought during the war were recruited into the biafra army.

And the wars were fought in the bushes, mostly in the country side.

The losing side then start to exaggerate events for sympathy

If you think or believe that the war was fought in the bushes, then you are the biggest fool on earth.

To answer your question.

The political elite of the south east, do not want to leave Nigeria, but ipob terrorist group want to leave Nigeria with Nigeria's oil.

Most igbo will lose out if they leave Nigeria, the igbo business men and traders know that, they are the ones scattered all over Nigeria doing business.

Answer the question he put forward

If 5 million igbos were killed during the civil war then where were they killed? If 5 million igbo were killed, how come the igbo population demography didn't change?
