Roasted corn.

Roasted corn of nowadays too dey strong for teeth, always hard to chew. It's hard to find sellers that roast freshly harvested corn. Most of the corn that they roast are several days old and tasteless corn.

As a woman of the Igbo extraction, you will have to change your mindset towards it so that your in-laws can be at peace with you. Cos it's a delicacy that unites warring families together.

This I have seen.

Op... What is roasted Yam/plantain and palm sauce? Call it by the street name - Bole. It is bole. Let's try and be amplifying and promoting our street food identity.
