this here. the infrastructure loans from China are completely upside down. a major construction project is supposed to be a big boost for the economy. consultants, contractors, support services will all get paid, and the money will go into Nigerias economy

For the train loan you mentioned, part of the deal is for a train wagon assembly plant at Kajole, Ogun State (which they are currently constructing) and a University of Transportation in Kastina State. Also 150 Nigeria Engineers was sent to China to study railway engineering and they will be the one to continue running both the plant at Kajole and other railway related projects.

The Chinese are already doing expertise transfer to our own engineers and it can only get better from there.
