The Chef has the last laugh with that defensive stance against Ja. Poor shoot clock recognition by Ja..They could have gone quick and get the final possession.

They are only lacking consistent half court offense, if they figure that out, they will be very hard to beat moving forward.
They have depth, incredibly hustle, spacing and big shot takers and makers, and the role players that fit their stars.

They are like the cool gen z version of the tim duncan spurs. They will not beat themselves, you will have to play better than them consistently to beat them. Talentwise, they arent all that, but they play their game with consistency and confidence.

Green getting a flagrant two was questionable.
Plus other bad decisions down the stretch.
Curry was erroneously called for an offensive foul even though Brooks moved.
Then they awarded a jump ball with seconds left even though the ball was last touched by the Grizzlies.
The refs wanted the Grizzlies to have the game.

If not for the early recognition by Klay that Ja was getting the ball at that exact point it would have been a free lay up or even a dunk.

A less than intelligent defender might have been a microsecond late in recognising and that is all Ja needs to blow by you.
