The situation was out of sanwoolu's hand we over pushed it

That is what I am saying because thugs and other things happen doesn't mean he was in charge and you don't expect him to go against his boss na

Me and You are not saying the same thing. You asked me why Falz and Macaroni didn't honor Sanwoolu's invite to talk and I gave u possible reason being Sanwoolu's duplicitous character. A man who would hold placard today to protest with u and then tomorrow thugs onboard his government owned buses attack u at that same protest ground.

I can't recall telling u Sanwoolu ordered any shooting or he was in charge of the army. Check my responses to u once again.

Obi was crying that a girl doesn't have 75k or thereabouts to afford Oven.

I found this part perplexing. on one hand I'm glad he's talking about the common man, on another his crying about such a person's plight shows he's lost touch with reality of the common man so much that he sees one instance a cry worthy incident when people such as that girl are a dime a dozen

A few days later I saw him do photo ops with the said girl and news saying he gave the girl money to buy the oven and then it all connected. he wanted to give money to the girl but also wanted to score cheap political points with the 75K he's about to dish out. all the crying, storytelling and eventual giving of 75k was all planned. it wouldn't even shock me if it's later found out that girl is not actually poor and is just acting a script. nothing a Nigerian politician can do will shock me

human wants are insatiable..

Damn if you do, damned If you don't ..

Your favorite celebrities do photo ops when donating to both fans and less privilege..

But because it is obi.. agenda must agend

Peter obi is a master of the art of the photo op, you have to give him that.

It's just that while these photo ops translate into good pr, they don't translate into results

Why do you like making comments like this?

No, God, why??

Seriously??

Dude, dude, dude, for you to stop crying at the plights of people would mean you're a dead human inside with no empathy no more and you're so used to unfortunate circumstances that you're numb to it.

And I don't say this as a personal attack.

There are times where I see news about Boko Haram victims and I will have nothing in me to cry; there are times that I will see news of earthquake survivors being rescued out from rumbles and I won't be able to stop the tears.

There are times I won't be able to open threads of domestic violence victims, and there are times I will be so hurt by cases of newly born babies dying in fire disasters or suffocating to death in a locked room that I will be questioning my faith.

So, you want to tell me that as much as you know how bad the world is, news of injustice and poverty still doesn't break your heart all over again?? ?? ??

Like, that's a very normal thing!!!! Normal, natural things that has been happening since time immemorial always break our hearts again in a new light.

Because of your intellect, you know that there are out of school children, but on a personal level, if you meet an out-of-school boy on the street, picking stuff just to get money and feed his mum, that will not draw compassion from you?

Therapists deal with traumatised victims everyday, yet they will still cry over some people's problems in their private moments.

Including doctors and firefighters and people whose jobs require them to come in contact with such.

Misogyny has always existed from time immemorial, even from the olden Biblical days, yet a fresh case of gender violence in the 21st century affects us.

We all know that agberos exists, and some children don't have access to opportunities, but tell me who was not happy at the news of that boy whose fortune was changed by the Chess In Slums initiative.

My point is that we know there are a lot of realistic facts, and some things have always been, YET they've not stopped us from crying at an heartbreaking news, or from feeling sad for bad situations, or from jubilating and experiencing the myriads of emotions we're given to as humans.

This is not to you; but honest to God I really hate what politics is doing to us. Just because you don't like a man, we politicise human feelings and use it as a gotcha' point.

That you're looking at someone showing empathy through the lens of a political action.

And I am not even saying some politicians do not do that. Exploit people's (adverse) conditions for photo-ops, but to test their veracity, check their antecedents.

And the periods in which they "perform" their humanly acts.

Have you done any of that for Obi?

So yes, while people like that lady are a dime a dozen, and while there are other Jennifers who has been killed in electoral violence, IT STILL DOES NOT MEAN a fresh single case of wrong cannot bring tears to one's eyes.

If you're a psychopath/sociopath/or any of those anti-human kind of person sha, perhaps this view you've shared is normal to them.

Because they are not Obi.

Simple as ABC.

People do things for different reasons, but you trying to paint Obi with a brush of insincerity due to your own cynicism is not it.

Of course they aren't. they're smarter than calling Aisha Yesufu to accompany them so they can take helicopter ride and then drive to a place where they'd make a donation that wouldn't even pay for the expenses they made to the location.

The funniest thing will be if you're looking love or a real/true woman inspite of the fact that the dating pool is filled with piss. grin

Still brings me back to the same point; we all expect good or we hold out onto a modicum of goodness irrespective of the fact that we know how shitty humans are.

It is okay to be a cynic, it is okay for you to be a skeptic, it is okay for you to go through life disbelieving any and everything – if they all works for you, but we should remember that the world has different people with their own perspectives in it, and know where to put an halt to it...

And it's funny that all times some of y'all are always commenting and forming scornful realists, it's only when one man is the topic.

Make una continue.

If you ACTUALLY GO THROUGH THAT POST, you will see where I clearly said that I cry over some things and I don't cry over others, depending on some factors which include the circumstances around such bad news, their intensity and my emotional state. smiley

I skip so many news of popular people dying, but I won't be listing them out for you just to 'score a cheap point.'

But nice one, what a way to tell us that you actually see humans through a one-dimensional lens and that you have no depth, because because I tell you that I cry everyday of my life abi? I don't envy you as well.

cuz they wouldn't spend a lot of money and efforts gathering their aides to a location to donate a single oven of $100

Thought it was only Aisha Yesufu?

Now you have seen aides? Do you know if the girl was brought to him? Do you know it they are in the same Abuja with only a fifteen-minute transportation difference?

This is even me assuming it was in Abuja because that was where the press conference was held and Obi met her. Can you ascertain the location of that picture?

Also, can you see the numbers written on the cheque? Where in Obi's twitter post did he write that he gave her exactly 75k/an oven?

Continue shooting yourself in the foot with contradictions.

Dem don dey compile the level grin

It's crazy that the INEC Chairman was announcing results despite clear irregularities being reported, his job as an INEC chairman is to ensure the fidelity or result collation as much as possible and not read out results of arithmetic, otherwise a 10 year old would do his job just as well.

These are results gotten from the INEC server and this was done with the result sheets that were modified, wonder what we'd get when we discount those modified result sheets.

If you go into rural America and see what meth has done to white people. Maybe one of the side effect is melting their teeth because all those people wey no dey get teeth are signs of meth use
