Shebi one of them was even on AriseTv last week giving unsolicited legal advice on TV. I'm sure he's advertising his services to her team.
Corruption is seen as normalcy in this country cause why would a legal practitioner be giving an unsolicited legal advice on how to escape the law, someone one who is suppose to uphold it.

Well,I shouldn’t be surprise cause even devil has followers,

First, he's not a governor or president with executive powers neither is he the IGP or Chief of Defence Staff.

Secondly, it's not like nothing is being done as people will have you believe. I agree that more needs to be done.

Wike actually started on a good footing but he's been distracted by his fight with Fubara leaving governance to suffer, so far he is overwhelmed by the myriad of challenges he's facing

That thing is happening at particular areas and red hot zone. People has been doing their thing here in Owerri and neighboring villages.

Yeah

I think it happens in villages.

I also noticed that there are no checkpoints littered everywhere in Abakaliki. Apart from the road into the city, i have not seen any checkpoints

But in the village, Army checkpoints yakpa. And i think that also scares people from coming out freely too.

Also, transport is cheaper here, compared to the villages, despite the fact that the fuel price is almost the same.

Na for village i enter 700 naira Keke for my life. grin

Is it that private ownership guns are totally illegal in Nigeria or that the process is very long

Cos with the confidence wey these bandits dey operate is cos they know no one will challenge them

it is not ownership of guns that makes the US a safe society. it is the fact that you have a working law enforcement system in place.

armed robbers were a law unto themselves. as are bandits . because more often than not, they have support from compromised members of security agencies

you can play the hero in the US because you know someone has called 911 and the police will get there. in nigeria, you are oyo. if you are lucky the police will get there 3 hours after the fact. then you have the other scenario - where you face off robbers and they take it personal and come back for you PERSONALLY.

the other problem with guns is that they cost money. so it will ultimately be your upper class or upper middle class that will have them. most of those people already have police on speed dial. and they will do the same thing with their guns that they do with police - oppress the hell out of people. you know that for reasons, people in third world countries are obsessed with displays of power drunkeness.

The bold is the sad tale of the death of popular White House restaurant in Sabo Yaba ( opposite Ozone cinemas)

Robbers came to his house , robbed him of his cash and ATM cards. He went to report to the police at daybreak , the robbers came back in the night to kill him for having audacity to go report the robbery incident to the police .

I know bro but coming on air to defend that lady and giving unsolicited legal advice on how she can wiggle her way will give those babanriga thieves to steal more since it’s easy to wriggle their way out legally.
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Itsrm(m): 7:55pm On Jan 15
My greatest fear in all of these is that criminals in other states will start getting ideas.

This new trend of breaking into people's houses to kidnap them will soon spread to other states.

Perilous times are ahead of us

With what is happening in FCT, a place that should be safe a bit, y’all should stay safe out there 🙏

It's obvious the security agencies are overwhelmed and cannot match the numbers of incidents happening

Shey person go just dey wait hoping say the evil guys skip your house

Crowded city dem dey attack, sparse villages dey dey attack, highway dem dey attack, schools place of worship

All those guys kidnapped in Abuja are middle to upper class some with connections to govt
