Eating food isn't luxury, it is a necessity to stay alive. If you eat good and healthy diet in abundance, you'll have a rich man mindset.

For you to have a rich man's mindset, you must be a crazy giver.

For breakfast I had Bread and steaming hot Hausa KOKO (Pap) with No milk or sugar just enough ginger and cloves to spice up my morning.

Bread- ₦100
(This bread is the cheapest you can get in this region. It tastes like cardboard paper but it is very filling. Some people say it is so cheap because they mix the flour with gero millet and sawdust)

Koko -₦50

Breakfast TOTAL = ₦ 150

First off, what part of the North of Nigeria are you based? I know that most kinds of food are cheaper in the North of Nigeria that those commercial and urban areas in the Southern States where "greedy Piranhas" called middlemen and retailers exist.

Second, the no sugar, no milk pap isn't bad. Sugar and cow milk reduction in the human diet is very important these days when there's been a spike of all kinds of cancer worldwide. Some Akara (or Kosai in Hausa) to go with your pap and bread would have made your meal to be more balanced instead of the carbohydrate PLUS carbohydrate breakfast combo you had.

Third, the bolded got me raising my eyebrows here! If the alleged sawdust mixed into the wheat flour and millet is true, then the folks living in the North have to make a quick Intel report to the government, the regulatory agency such as NAFDAC and traditional rulers in that area of the North of Nigeria where this bread is sold.

Anyways, I suspect that the reason why the N100 bread is hard is because of the addition of millet flour to the wheat flour to reduce the cost of production and NOT necessarily sawdust.

What's that minimum wage for folks in Nigeria again?

You wouldn't perish, baba, I've been in the north for the greater part of my life and I've been to over 14 states even though fear is always beside me I don't let that deter me one bit, aside the insecurity and crass level of illiteracy which is a weapon wielded by their own elites to keep most from seeing things for what it is, the north is a calm place to hide one head and forget about the hustle and bustle that goes on in Lagos (since many believed Lagos is the holy grail as far as Nigeria is concerned).

Kano, Kebbi, Kaduna, Zamfara, Sokoto, Katsina, Niger, Jigawa, Plateau, Nassarawa, Adamawa, Bauchi, Gombe, Borno, Taraba and Benue.
