Segedinho: All these one you wrote are mere conjunction. He didn't say Obi is running the country to the ground, he said Obi is not fit to rule the country. You disagree, plenty people disagree also and some agree. It has no bearing in the grand scheme of things. If he says Obi is fit to rule the country, what will happen? Will that suddenly make Obi the President? Stop majoring in the minor, hold Tinubu for trouser and leave WS alone. 4 Likes |

larride:It is minor as it seems but in reality it is a way to push an agenda.... Tinubu is at the helms of affair and is working the economy tirelessly into oblivion. My opinion likewise urs are useless in reality cos we are relatively unknown.. His opinion and statement would/could made president sit and rethink... He owes Nigeria that as long as he is alive.....I can assure you ,his statement or ction towards Jonathan was among the reason there was a backtrack.. Ellexy: PRESIDENT TINUBU'S STATEMENT ON THE KILLING OF SOLDIERS IN ABA I have received yet another disheartening news of the killing of five  soldiers by suspected militants of the proscribed terrorist organization, IPOB.  The slain soldiers were on peacekeeping duty in Aba, Abia State on Thursday when they were murdered, just two months after a similar tragic incident happened in Okuama in Delta state.  These unwarranted barbaric and evil acts stand condemned and should never be condoned and tolerated in our country.  Our soldiers and the police have the onerous duty to protect all of us from aggressors and non state actors. Hundreds of them  have paid the ultimate price in fulfilment of their duty, while some have experienced the indignity of being manhandled by the people they protect.  They surely do not deserve the mindless attacks by unruly elements in our society.  The federal government will come down heavily against those who have made it a habit to needlessly attack the officers and men of our armed forces.  On no account should anyone, under any guise, have the audacity to kill agents of state.  I want to make it clear that the government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the armed forces have the capacity to crush violent non-state actors, making our communities unsafe.  I urge security agencies not only to fish out the masterminds and perpetrators of the Aba attack, but also those calling on people to stay at home. Their action is nothing but a treasonable offence.  The fact that the security forces are exercising necessary restraints should not be mistaken for weakness.  We are working to build a peaceful and harmonious society, but nobody should be under any illusion that the government will not act appropriately when the lives of our officers and men are wantonly taken.  While my condolences go to the families of the five slain soldiers, their colleagues and the leadership of our armed forces, I urge other men and women on peacekeeping duty not to  be discouraged by the unfortunate incident in Aba. Segedinho: The only person that has the power to change anything in this country is Tinubu and those he appointed. Whatever WS or Obi or Atiku says is their own personal opinion, it has zero bearing in the grand scheme of things as long as the President is concern, he can choose to look at what they are saying or discard it. The same way it makes no sense for you to be waiting for WS to say something about what's happening is the same way it doesn't make sense for those waiting for Obi to say something about what's happening, they are both private citizens. You should accord them same right. |

Ibime:The ranch was very functional and it was so even after Duke (Imoke's tenure), it was Ayade that crippled the ranch. As for Tinapa, Duke built it but for some reason, it didn't take off after the change of Government. Imoke has his argument and Duke too has his. Talking about profit or loss, it is you who should present the facts since you labelled them "white elephant projects" |

patrickmuf: Duke already failed to make a N40bln loan payment on Tinapa while he was Governor. It was losing money hand over fist. Cross River had the heaviest debt burden relative to revenue at the end of Dukes tenure. Tinapa business case was built on receiving 3 million visitors annually with each spending 100,000 and generating N300bln annually. That is a "pigs could fly" business case dreamt up by a mad man called Duke. Till today, Cross River is still paying off debts from Tinapa. Duke was a capital failure, a big charlatan. Look at these debt deductions from FAAC in 2007 and tell me why a small state like Cross River will have debt deductions of this size, competing neck and neck with Lagos while bugger states like Delta, Rivers, AkwaIbom with a lot more capacity to service debt have nowhere near their debt level. The eediot Donald Duke should be flogged, and any naive Nigerian who bought his pie-in-the-sky PR should also be flogged Imoke you say, when AMCON already seized Tinapa since 2013 during Imoke tenure for non payment of debt. The same Imoke who said this?

A40: Given AJ had Wilder alone for 3 years with the chance to become undisputed by just fighting Wilder, that fight is owed to us, even at least for us to imagine what would have happened had they fought then Dubois should go and clear his name against Joe Joyce before getting any A list fights. You can't be getting big fights against Usyk and AJ and you haven't cleared that Joyce defeat from your record. |
