Racoon:
This is how development comes - when you have focused, responsible and determined leadership irrespective of military or democratic pattern. Same country alongside Burkina Faso, Mali that Tinubu zombies said are landlocked depending on Nigeria for their survival. They have even former their own union alliance thereby cutting themselves from the apron strings of ECOWAS under the fraud on seat.

Now all these nations led by these young military turks have also freed their respective nations from the griphold of neo-colonists and imperialism thereby facilitating their own development. Meanwhile, the disaster they have enthroned have so much bastardized Nigeria beyond repair.

You go just kee yourself over nothing. Tinubu is President till 2031

You keep missing the big picture of the whole scenery.

Not everyone can plant or venture into planting or looking after their plants or pets.

Some people leave their home from morning and return late at night. How do you expect them to plant?..

You shouldn't expect everyone to start laying foundation for gardens. What will now happen to the farmers? By the time their goods gets to the market and people refuse to purchase it because they already have them at home..... Will create another problem for the country.

Which one did you show us when you were occupying Ojota in 2012 when good luck removed fuel subsidy and fuel was selling for #145 only?? How much is it today?

You are an E-goat!.....🙃🙃🙃
Are you aware that farmers in Benue can't harvest their crops in their backyards?
You are very foolish, outrightly mad and obviously insane for making such useless and ludicrous statements. Rubbish!

Look at yourself in the mirror before commenting on national issues as this..

We are complaining of herders killing farmers and preventing people from going to their farms.. but you lots are there praising and defending IP0Bs and UGM for enforcing sit-at-home, attacking and killing people going about their legitimate hustle in the South East.
What mouth do you have to talk here?.. take several seats with your hypocrisy.

Can you compare the number of times you finally say something about herders with the number of times you have complained about the Igbos on this forum?
Didn't some of us knew that the late gov of ondo state's wife is an Igbo woman who you attacked on here day and night and accused of being the reason ondo state was retrogressive?!

Now you are advising bossgerald to focus on the SE (as if he's not a Nigerian) but virtually all your posts on here are attacks on the Igbos everyday,247!

Stop being a hypocrite and a tribalist and a hater.

If you care for the long term. It would be beneficial to do so.

If you want to pass a message do it in the most kind and convincing manner. I've been reading your argument with someone and what keeps flashing in my head is, this guy want us to go back in the olden days when my parents have farm at the back of our house.

Lemme tell you a little story. When I was in the UK the college were studied usually take us on excursion and along the way I observed a long stretch of wheat farm about 5km or more. One day decided to ask our teacher who own the wheat cos it's almost everywhere except London. Do you what he told me, he said the government grow the wheat, package it and sell to different countries. You rarely see anyone on the farm except tractors everywhere. What I'm telling you now is as far back as 2007.

Of course not everyone. But those who have the opportunity to do so aren't either because we are a people who want short cut to success and always impatient. It's so sad how a simple message can't be comprehended.

The question is, hasn't the government been involved in various kinds of Agricultural mega ventures since 1960?! There was one called operation feed the nation, and many more. IT ALL FAILED because we are not a serious people. We are a people who make jest and mockery about serious things, who make excuses for our deliberate inefficiencies.

Well.

Point is, there are Nigerians working seriously very hard on a daily and are doing their best for themselves. Probably relying completely on their salaries which used to be enough for their upkeep until subsidy removal turning things more difficult.

The government makes the first mistakes. All their agricultural schemes fail because a certain people only benefited from it while the real farmers don't.

The moment funds are released for a project/schemes slots are shared to NASS who approved the funds. And the same people won't vet the outcome of the scheme because they collected the funds and are not ready to make use of it.

You made mention of the project government established and it failed. If government could organise such project and it failed how do you think people would leave there daily work and start going to farm.

These people are a product of a dysfunctional society which has the home has it's microest institution. Charity begins at home. The same salary earners will most likely do worse if opportuned with same NASS responsibility.

You still haven't comprehend my message. Backyard farming is not exclusive farming. Infact, my mentioning backyard farming is to make people realize how so lazy we are, and how ungrateful not to use the best of all we have CREATIVELY, when compared to a people who are turning their deserts to GREEN LANDS while always putting all of the blame on the government as if those in government are not from our own selves.

Shouldn't we expunge government from our system, so that everyone goes about his own business. No taxes, etc?
All of you are not smart ... same things you termed evil under GEJ, have suddenly become acceptable.
That is the true definition of HYPOCRISY!!!
