ElSudani: There is no " we" between Ndiigbo and your Yoruba people, except the one you force with arms, killings, massacre and intimidation. The Hate is mutual. You will not have upper hand forever, and woe betide you when the tides turn, your children will curse you for forcefully holding back a people that you clearly have no love for and that have no love for you as well. The only way Nigeria continues to exist is that you all hold and pin Igbos on the floor, but unfortunately to do this, you all have to stay on the floor too, which is why the country only merely exists but with zero progress since 1970. Unity is not something you can force, especially when points of unity don't exist and when mutual loathe and resentment exist. You are enjoying this union of mere existence because even though we are both on the poto poto of mediocrity that Nigeria currently represents, you are the ones lying on top of us. This status quo will not last forever, power is always transient. And you wouldn't be smiling when the tides change. We can be reasonable and accept we can't coexist, sit on round table and amicably split the country like Czechoslovakia did. It isn't that hard. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

pazienza: Sir, my name is not Ironsi, Ojukwu or Azikiwe. These people sold you out. Ojukwu was part of the government which abolished federalism. He was there with Ironsi. We do not hate, don't project your values on others. 4 Likes |

ElSudani: It wasn't Ojukwu, Ironsi or Zik who came to our homeland in Biafra forcing Nigerian unity with barrels of guns and bombings on us. So I don't know what you are speaking of. When reasonable Malaysians discovered that their way of life, their idiosyncrasies are not reconciliable with those of Singaporeans, they didn't start blaming Singaporean leaders for making Singapore part of the now defunct Malay Federation, they simply locked the Singaporean politicians away from their senate building and held a secret plenary session where the secession clause was added to the constitution immediately and Singapore was also immediately expelled from the Malay Federation. Today Singapore is well developed and Malaysia is well developed as well. Both countries are doing well for themselves. If they were still both trapped in the unsuccessful Malay Federation, they would be spending all energy meant for development on conflict resolutions arising from irreconcilable differences like Nigeria has been doing since 1970. You want to force Unity with Ndiigbo? 100years from now, it will not work. We are not reconciliable with Yorubas. We are totally different people with immiscible socioeconomic and religio-cultural outlooks. To keep Ndiigbo in Nigeria means you have to stay on the poto poto with us, because the moment you attempt to leave that poto poto, we will rise and your Nigeria will have to be split. Have you not observed the pattern? To keep Igbo in Nigeria,Gowon and Awolowo had to dissolve the regions and created dysfunctional states that rendered Nigeria Useless today. To keep Igbos suppressed in Nigeria and unable to rise to split the country. You created quota system and federal character which is a fanciful way of saying you want to put mediocrity over merit in positions of authority and services that in serious countries are reserved for the best in order to get best results. This was how you end up with a country with mediocrity foundation where the average and worst are thrusted into positions that require skill sets they obviously lack. To stop Igbo growing influence. You replaced GEJ, a non Igbo president that was actually working, with Buhari who destroyed whar was Africa's biggest economy in a matter of 8yrs. To even entrench your need to forcefully keep Igbos in Nigeria, because you are afraid that an Igbo president might split the country, you elected Tinubu that is currently finishing the country. Every step Nigeria has taken since 1970 that plunged her into depths of failure and mediocrity have all been taken with fears and need to to keep Igbos in Nigeria and avoid them leaving or splitting the country. And in return all these steps have all done was sink the country deeper. Ironically, all the steps needed to lift Nigeria will always involve Igbos getting more powerful and then powerful enough to leave Nigeria. Nigeria is caught between the devil and deep blue sea. The path to its progress is that path that frees Igbos who will eventually leave the country once free and powerful again. The path to prevent Igbos leaving the country is the path of retrogression, pain , poverty and mediocrity, which is where Nigeria has been heading to since 1970. You should be wise enough like the Malaysians and do the needful. You will develop thereafter, and Igbos will develop as well, like Singapore and Malaysia have done. 5 Likes 1 Share |

ElSudani: Let's assume that Ademoyega one of the lynchpins of the so called coup you talk about wasn't involved in the coup. Let's assume it was all Igbo coup. Why would you want to co-exist in same country with 30million people who killed your leaders and Don't want to co-exist with you? You obviously don't envisage such country will be peaceful enough to sustain any iota of progressive venture? Shouldn't the right thing be to want to erect a border, a well guarded one between yourself and such people? Why exactly do you want to share a country with such people and pretend you love them and that they love you and that you can sweep everything under the carpet when you know that the opposite is the case? Can you not see how illogical your sound? If Ndiigbo were an ethnic group of say 2milliion people. You could easily put us down, cage us and still have enough strength to progress, but we are too big, so big that the only way you can maintain this forceful union is that you all have to stay on this floor with poto poto with us, which is exactly where Nigeria is now. Think about it in your quiet time if you can. 4 Likes 1 Share |

SoNature:U nailed it. Our CHARACTER is simply our problem. IF I hadn't gone round the world, I would be contesting your statement. Character builds a nation but not in the context of Nigeria. We need just 50% of Nigerians to behave right to keep our country on track and that's all. Nothing else. But that's too difficult for us. Since the Military handed over, it's from a case of bad to worse. It's obvious the military was doing a fantastic job caging too many animals. 1 Like 2 Shares |

APOPTOSIS: You are living in delusion. China is 92% ethnic Han. It makes it easy when the people have a vast majority of group with a unified cultural or religious substance the rest can unite around. India couldn't co-exist with Pakistan. The religious differences were unsurmountable! Imagine if India continued to co-exist with Islamic Pakistan today, none of them could have made any reasonable progress. You can't wish away these fundamentals. USA, Canada, etc are new world ruled by Invaders. The invaders were united by need to kill and to plunder. That's their unifying factor. The native red Indians being indigenous people with distinct languages couldn't unite because unity is not built on thin air. It's built on shared goals emanating from shared value system, common religion, shared heritage, etc. Nigeria has none of these things. Apart from skin colour, there is nothing whatsoever that the Igbo man has in common with the Yorubas. Our value system is at loggerheads. The Igbo will stone an elder who makes life difficult for everyone else by not being a good leader or seen to support bad leadership. We will insult the hell out of them and disgrace them like Ekweremmadu was disgraced in Germany. Yorubas will say they are elders and should be respected irrespective of whatever shortcomings they have, and they will look at the Igbos who have no such respect as being a savage race, while the Igbo look at them as a slavish race, because we will never understand why anyone should be respected strictly for age and not for his actions and behaviour. These are fundamentals you can't wish away. No amount of grammar would. 5 Likes 1 Share |

All the bickerings and blame game going on here wouldn't help matters. Our ancestors made mistakes and so funny we can't come up with workable solutions to those problems in our own time. We will keep going back and forth if we continue pointing accusing fingers at every turn rather than getting our faces outta our silly axxes and work towards a better Nation. I don't engage bigots though so keep off! 1 Like |

Zxcvbnmghtr: Are you saying the SE are been held hostage in Nigeria for killing Sarduana? I sincerely know you are not a good student of history and that is why you people did everything to abolish history from the curriculum. You make sure you have a good narrative to back up your claim and the evil part of it is that you transfer such idea to your children. When Ironsi was murdered in cold blood that doesn't concern you, but a 1966 coup that was plotted among all the geopolitical zones is now the reason why some people are been held hostage. The amount of Nigeria beautiful officers that has lost their lives to insurgents in the North doesn't warrant you bombing all the north but a northerner casualty in a coup is worth holding some people hostage to which same people lost their own son in a counter coup o. 1 Like |

Zxcvbnmghtr: I will never justify the wrong of anyone, I will condemn in totality whatever deserves condemnation. I only pointed out to the fact that your lies dont hold any water, you said some people murdered someone and I reminded you that those people also got their own son murdered. If that is the reason they are been held hostage then what happens to their son that they also lost? You people are difficult to understand and I will tell you why... Nzeogwu was part of the coup, he was from Delta state but was adjudged Igbo. If tomorrow igbos try to claim Delta as part of the SE same you people will decline. So where exactly are you people standing? You claim Ironsi abolished the federalism system of government, Ironsi that only spent 6months o and weve had head of states and presidents over the years but non of them could revert back to something they know will improve us but Tilumbu found it easy to change the anthem but they cant undo what Ironsi did. You claim endsars was igbo plot to burn down Lagos but just weeks ago when names of people still in detention over endsars saga we had more of yoruba names on the list. So many narratives from you lots that I begin to wonder what country are we in, you just say something to suit and massage your ego so you can feel good. 3 Likes 1 Share |
