I spoke with a colleague who got the graduate trainee last year. He said it's really highly competitive. Out of 50,000 applicants only 10 of them got the job. This particular stage is where they'll drop many people. Less than 0.5% will make it through. And at the end it was certain and obvious that those 10 applicant worth it.. as they were exceptionally good. Shell is highly competitive with a good pay at the end. 30M annually for graduate trainee.. that's including other allowances

After scaling pass the ODVI stage. The remaining assessment is physical.
A Case study presentation and face to face interview.
The case study would take an hour or more. You'll be alerted on a case study to prepare for, 48hrs before the day of your interview. On that day, your unit will select a topic for your presentation from the case study. You'll be given 30min to prepare for your presentation. You'll then be given 10 min to present in front of your unit. After presentation, you'll be thrown questions from your presentation for you to answer. A 1hrs+ Questions and Answers.

Afterwards, you'll move for the final interview, which is a face to face interview with the unit head. You'll be ask direct questions like.. Why did you chose shell, what do you choose to accomplish if given the job and many other questions etc. That's all

That’s so crazy. Ratio is 1/50,000 for commercial unit.

If not grace, I can’t imagine where person was pass enter for just a unit among 50k people.

I’m currently doing the on demand video interview but I had a network glitch and the recording stopped. Should I click on the “back” button as the screen is just at one spot

I’ve been able to go back but each time I try recording my response for the second question, it gives a server error connection problem and the recording stops.

You need to allow the website access to your camera and microphone. Click on request permission and then allow. A modal should come up where you select your front camera and microphone or earpiece.

Definitely not by date of submission, its probably by a criteria applied across board. You scaled through the criteria that was used to drop some people today. Cheers to more wins
