2. Your number two question depends on your purpose of visit or travel purpose. Therefore, I cannot state that off-hand. But , nevertheless, those listed letters from your employer can be taken along in order to support your case of tie proving.

He contacted me on fiverr and we started working on it ever since, fine tuning it and finally the software is ready to lunch. His lunch date is on the 16th of August, 2024 and he wants me to attend the launching event.

I don't know how possible it is to secure a visa and be in USA. I intend to go into hiding after the event so I don't come back to Nigeria. He is ready to cover all cost for this trip but he doesn't know of my intentions to never return to my country.

Can someone point me in the direction to follow? I have seen the d-160 or something like that form to be filled and I have come across from my research the need for him to write me an invitation letter. Theres a lot of information on ground but I just need directions on how I can possible take this chance and bid Nigeria good bye.

2. Your American guy (if genuine according to your story) might be another future Mark Zuckerberg as a successful software developer and this is an individual who seems to have develop an everlasting love for you as a business consultant or partner.

3. Follow @fkj950ax' s advice and ask your American guy to send an official invitation letter to you on a business visit. You will have everything it takes to be going and coming to and fro (in between USA and Nigeria) rather than becoming a wanderer in America.

Please is the MRV still valid? Can I go for the interview with both the old and new Appointment Confirmation letter?

1. Its not going to be an issue because its a minor mistake.

2. The only thing needed in your MRV receipt is the payment reference number which you must indicate when applying for VISA appointment. Same reference number should be displayed on your VISA appointment letter.

You have to fill new ds 160 and update it in ur cgi portal after which u must print a new interview appointment letter after 48hrs. You can attend ur appointment with both old 'n new passports . Cheers.

In the question sections it said if I chose that I have a dependant the visa be delayed or denied, and when I chose it. it says I do not qualify. Im just confused here. The last time I renewed the two together.

1. Login into your CGI profile and remove your wife as dependent . Why not apply separately? She should create her personal CGI profile and fill her personal DS-160. Both of you were previously issued visas which is now expired, therefore " you are two separate adults and qualified.

2. Alternatively, remove her from your cgi profile and fill a new Ds-160 but at the end of your final Ds-160 submission you will have to create dependent Ds-160 for your wife , thereby introducing your wife's profile into your own DS-160. Your wife would still have to create her personal DS-160 apart from this one you have filled.

3. Then login back to your cgi and add your wife as travel companion while booking appointment and this time the system will ask for your wife’s Ds-160 confirmation and MRV receipt number after which it will give you the total sum of your two MRVs. You should be able to proceed from here .

PS: Other experts can shed more light.

Every applicant should have their profile. Even if their parents already have visas. Open a profile for the child and book an appointment. The parent will take the child to the embassy for the interview.
