Bros Siga...hw u doin' Sir?...pls, are u trying to say that any program someone wants to go for, e.g PG, it must go alongside ur work background. E.g, u work in a bank, n u wanna go for Msc in environmental policy(it doesn't correlate). Sir,u knw naija nah, we dnt work from discipline ethics...E.g, u see a biologist in bank...or as a marketer....e.t...c....
Or isn't it better to declare unemployed...
What's d implication if one states he/she isn't employed?...

This is a very good question.
Your SOP should be like you have a discipline in_______ and you find yourself in the field of _______, you are not near a professional in the latter even with your _____ years of experience while you also update yourself in the field but no professional training yet, thus you seek to study _________ in _________ college/University. On my arrival, I look forward to use my gained experience to __________, _____________ and ____________ which will aid my promotion and also will one day give me an opportunity to hold a managerial role as the company expands.

This is just a sample and I'm sure you can build a wonderful sop.

I'm in the process of applying to Concordia after my NYSC. Got bsc in software engineering from University of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia last year and currently doing NYSC before going for masters. Please what's my chance of getting admission as a second class lower graduate. Kindly advise

Good day bro, sorry for just replying. First I will advice you to check the school website and get the contact of the graduate advisor in charge of the department you want, send the advisor an email stating your qualification, experience and the semester you want to come in. Though the school states minimum of 2:1 but there are always exceptions. From the response of the advisor you'll know whether you'll get admitted for masters, if not you'll have to apply for pgd fitst, then afterwards proceed to masters. Feel free to let me know if you have any other inquiries. The school website is www.concordia.ca. Bon channce monsieur

in fact I'm shocked myself, at least his packaged is tight. travel history is just an excuse by the VO to discredit his application.

The normal processing time fr student visa on the cic website is 21 weeks, you should allow a minimum 3 month interval, when reapplying,

"purpose of visit" is on point if they ain't convinced enough that your plan is to study and not abscond. It normally comes up when there isn't correlation in one's study plan. That's where SOP plays a major role 'cuz the applicant won't be on ground to explain. My opinion though.
