To the topic, though broom is not used in most advanced countries but what broom signifies is cleaning or cleanliness.. In Nigeria, it is not everyone that can afford a vacuum cleaner but everyone can afford to buy a broom. So this means apc as a party considers the masses! And making broom the party's logo is one of the best idea from a creative group of intellectual individuals.. And i really applaud such team..

Umbrella is also a good symbol, it signifies protection from an agent of disturbance but if we are to look at it, pdp has not protect its citizens and has forgotten them in times of need! They assume there is no rain, hence there is no need for the umbrella which is a misconception from their part.. Therefore, we are thankful for what you(pdp) have being able to achieve for the last 16years.. Now, we really desire change and change must come!

They don't use brooms in "developed" countries? Are you kidding me? Where did the name "broom" come from? They use it all the time...brooms are made of different materials.

To answer the question, non-partisan, I value the broom more than an umbrella. I've never owned an umbrella in my life.

This topic is good as nt having it! To be frank wt u, I've not made use of broom 4 the past 3years. That means broom is backwardness indeed. It is also not common to all race(s). But Umbrella does!

What hw can u compare broom to umbrella? Go to the market and price both, by the time the seller told you their prices, u will know the one that is more important. Broom is better, its source which is palm tree is an economic tree. You get red oil from it, you get palm wine from it, palm karnel, you can use the end product to make fire and apart from broom you can use the leaves to roof your house. Its rich and valuable.
Broom signifies unity, when it is raining, you can join brooms together to sheed yourself from being bitten by rain.
Umbrella too is good, its purpose is to shed yourself from rain and sometimes sun but not all the time. You can't use it to sweep! Its purpose is limited unlike broom.

How many people do you see manually sweeping roads with brooms in advanced countries? Please oga that has left the shores of Nigeria should tell us.
