[s]There is no place where DENEL publishes what you say I should google,[/s] why don't you post the data yourself to back your wild claims?

[s]Rifles and MRAP is what I said, one single MRAP costs more than twenty Ingwe missiles, yes MRAP sales is DENELs biggest profit maker.[/s]

Augustus, why dont you post the data to back your wild claims?

[s]Nigeria is not shout, its just lacking European support that South Africa had for 300 years uninterrupted white men's rule that gqve them direct transfer of technology from Europe.

South African blacks have ZERO technological contribution to South Africa's current advancement, your black dull-heads cannot even run a spaza shop, you need Somali immigrants to help you with entrepreneurship [/s]cheesycheesy

You prove your claim with sources and data.

Prove 17 countries use DENEL periscope.

Prove how many periscopes you sold compared to MRAPs.

That will show us how much money you make from periscopes by selling just a couple of them....as if it's diamond cheesycheesy

Who said Denel?

Ask the 17 navies who use them

$300 million Mandela Frigate with ZERO anti-submarine warfare capabilities.

Strike craft patrol boat with ZERO stealth and OPV capability.

Expensive overhyped navy.

As apposed to your ZERO frigates with ZERO sbmarine warfare capabilities?

And your ZERO frigates withe ZERO conventional warfare abilities?

As apposed to your ZERO submarines?

As apposed to your ZERO operational maritime helicopters?

Cheap rust coast guard of ancient vessels - some as old as independent Nigeria - pirates dont fear it, they sail towards it grin

You are the one making allegations.

Nigeria has a 100% black man built DICON and PROFORCE, but South African DENEL is a white man built defence company existing since 1960s under different name, getting direct technology transfer from their white men brothers in Europe and paying Israel to send Jewish engineers with full technology transfer to work for DENEL .

Ours is 100% Nigerian origin, yours is inherited 1005 from your ex-white masters....your Soweto brains built nothing cheesy cheesy

China is missing on the top 100 list....makes the list fake or simply flawed and incorrect.....the list that ranks DENEL above China is garbage !
.

I completely disagree with your insinuation that if Chinese companies are not making the list then the whole listing is fake. Who was buying weapons from China lately? China's arms market has hit the rock bottom. Individually you don't know how Chinese companies have been doing in terms of weapon sales, so if you don't have information just keep quiet.

Btw, why is it that other Africans are not talking about this same topic? I have been on google trying to look for forums from other countries where other Africans are giving their own opinion, but you just don't find such forum! The ones i found are not very indept, engaging and educating. They are also not vibrant. Does this tell us about the internet culture of these countries?

Why don't they have a type of Beegeagle? That guy is a force!

South Africa has moved beyond blogs

We have Defenceweb, an actual news source that provides actual industry news.

If beegs tried to set up in South Africa he would be blown out of the water overnight... click-bait trash

apart from SA, no other African country has been able to make what Nigeria has made in defsec. We make our own surveilence drones, OPVs, LAVs, riffles, night vision glasses, etc

we are the only country that has the number of sattelites we have in space. One of them was even built by our own engineers. We are currently on course to build Africa's first space rocket which will launch home-built sattelites into space from right here in Nigeria. This is a thing i read about some 2 years ago and was confirmed to us by our professor who is on sabatical with us and is also the president of Nigeria's Institute of Physics.

There are many more things a lot of Nigerians and the rest of the world barely know about us. And i think its a problem with our media and our national orientation. Coming on NL and reading so many silly posts here from Nigerians, is something really disappointing!

To tell you the truth you have only managed to come with prototypes of all equipments you mentioned. All of those have yet to reach production level.

blogs, webs...what's the difference? They all dish out info. Only that one is bigger than the other. In this case, it seems the smaller one (blog) is attracting more viewers and audience than your web. I take the blog over your web because it gives room for interaction and the interactions are of high quality.the interactions are also passionate. Do you know how many followers beegs racked up in just a few months of been active on twitter? I can place him as the number 1 source of defsec info outlet in Africa. The only thing is that he focuses on Nigeria only.

A blog is different to a professional media house. You can never sue a blog but a media house you can. Defenceweb is owned by media house. Defenceweb is a media and not a social network like a blog.

Beegs is a colossus, a Defence and Security Titan in Africa.

His audience includes those in the Higher echelon of Defence and Security in Africa, African military contractors and trainers and all Foreign News outlets/ Analysts& contributors based in or contributing on African affairs.

He runs what is un-argubly Africa's Largest Defence and Security blog

once a brand is registered, then it has a legal person and can be sued. This means Linda Ikeji can be sued too, if she is registered, and i think she is.

Like i said, they are all meant to give info to an audience and how good or well an outlet is, depends on the audience it manages to reac out to. I remember sometime ago, a Kenyan here on NL was wishing East Africa had a type of Beeg.

I say again a blog is not a professionally run on-line newspaper like Defenceweb a subsidiary of ITweb. It is very difficult to sue bloggers since they do not have addresses and offices where they operate. Normally bloggers use information gathered from other sources. Generally everyone can have a blog including yourself.

The bottom line is that, BEEG is not a professionally run profit making media house but only a blog.

Defenceweb is a media not based on number of subscribers. In fact they are linked to Google groups for in case you want to make comments.

Nigeria's ingenuinty is the point i was trying to make. Beegs is one, Seun is another one and Linda is a third one! Yet, some people still believe Nigeria's internet and cultural awareness is low.

Defenceweb would give anything to get the sort of audience beeg gets. If beeg goes offline, the whole of Africa feels his absence. This is the sort of presence he commands!

Who said Defenceweb does not get number of visitors. People visit Defenceweb on daily bases from all over the world because is linked with Google. Like I said Defenceweb does not rely on number of subscribers like a blog. In fact your subscription to Defenceweb will only be linked to Google groups like any on-line newspaper you come across while browsing through your net.

Well in one word I will summarise their work as social networks that they managed to put together to attract the majority of Nigerian youth. Same way as 2go which was developed by South Africans took out Africa by storm.

Two brand new stealth OPVs make Nigerian navy the best patrol force in Africa, makes project biro look like a scam made in South Africa cheesy

Nigerian navy owns 3 torpedo armed anti-submarine maritime helicopters in storage. South African navy has ZERO, that's why your Lynx hardly ever appear on the Valour frigates, the helicopters belong to the air force and are all land based.

We are both in similar state of repair and refit with ships, your frigates are just coming out of refit, our Aradu is starting refit too. BTWN, our NNS Aradu is fully armed with anti-submarine torpedoes, BVR missiles, and longer range heavy guns.....Aradu firepower will sink all your four frigates in 10 minutes....wait till we complete refit, it's been announced we are doing it locally in Nigerian shipyards that have been upgraded to build modern stealth ships.

Last time I checked, the whole South African navy has ZERO anti-submarine warfare capability....it's only fools like 50 million Southie goons that will spend $1.2 billion on 4 frigates and forgot to buy torpedoes for their billion dollar warships....foools cheesycheesy
