Separate OPS, confrence and flight rooms, big hangar, flex-deck, davits, 13 000 km or 40 day range. However, unlike in these picks it seems from the Defweb article that ours will have the Axe-bow (straight edge), which is neato...

Its a really nice package.

Obviously we will have to wait and see what the final design is, but all in all it should be pretty hard to fvck it up.

Hopefully they can complete the technical negotiations timorously.

So it's this one with an Axe-bow wink

**** it also seems the Nigerian Navy is interested in a Naval helicopter from Airbus helicopters. The Nigerian Navy might procure the Panther helicopter from France. This helicopter. I guess we would all wait and see.

It's not mainstream source, the same place I sourced the Ocea photo from.

It might be possible, that's why I'm saying we should wait and see. Me might or might not. It is my belief that we might.

Let's wait and see.

What I can say is that we are strongly interested and have tested the helicopter in Marsielle, France. That is, April, 2016.
Okay I think I know what you're talking about... grin
March and April 2016, airbus helicopters testing.

It's becoming a strange world... However it is the season of the Southern Hemisphere cyclones although South Africa hasn't gotten an extreme cyclone since the year 2000.

As for droughts, governments should invest in mega water-capture infrastructure to soften the impact. When it rains (because it does) the water should be captured and stored for extreme droughts... Also, there should be infrastructure to move water from surplus regions to regions in need.... Mostly no fresh water should ever go to the sea.

kenyan pastoralist communities need to change their cultural practices of roaming around with cattle or livestocks, over grazing their land and then invade other people ranches who managed their grazing land well and still have grass to feed their livestocks during drought period.this phenomenon of extreme weather patterns is something ,we have to live with in the coming year.but considering the dumb idiots(Africans who can't change their stupid cultural practices, because their think ancestors will curse them) we have around, its just going to get worse

Over grazing is one common issue non commercial farmers have... We have the same problem with non commercial cattle keepers in the rural provinces like the Eastern Cape and KwaZulu Natal. There's too many cows overgrazing these lands and no one is selling.

Nigerian Air Force MI-17 comes under attack.

Fighter aircraft and attack helicopter scrambled. Boko-Haram Terrorist toasted. Mission successful. Like a boss cool

PRESS RELEASE
GWOZA: BOKO HARAM TERRORISTS ATTACK NAF HELICOPTER CONVEYING MEDICS ON OUTREACH PROGRAMME
A Nigerian Air Force (NAF) helicopter conveying personnel on medical outreach programme at Gwoza yesterday came under attack by members of the Boko Haram Terrorist (BHT) group. The Mi-17 helicopter was shot at severally by the insurgents however there was no casualty except for an airman that sustained bullet wound. The helicopter had departed from Maiduguri enroute the venue of the 2-day medical outreach programme in Gwoza when it came under attack by the insurgents. Nevertheless, the pilot was able to fly the helicopter safely to and from its destination to enable the outreach programme continue uninterrupted.
Following the attack, the NAF immediately scrambled a fighter aircraft and helicopter gunship to the location between Bama and Gwoza to neutralise the threat. Intelligence report by ground troops confirmed scores of BHTs were killed, signifying that the air attack on the threat location was successful.
Recall that the NAF has been conducting medical outreach in the North East as part of its humanitarian support to Internally Displaced Persons. The latest of this effort was in Gwoza. This follows a similar effort undertaken recently for IDPs in Lagos area.

Lol, and add yet another variant to your fleet?

I doubt your staff would do such a thing.

I don't know, I'm not a policy maker. There is also no evidence of an order.

What I can say with confidence is, the Nigerian Navy evaluated the Panther helicopter in April 2016. I have proof of this.

I have seen the Beryl video Henry240 was on about, and it is truly not the easiest to share sad

However, the lack of recoil or obvious barrel heat and rate of fire shocked shocked

Good luck (not) to any BHTs facing one on full auto wink undecided grin grin
