He had a good chance in Holland and in Turkey. But now that's he's in Hungary he should forget it. Going to Hungary doesn't speak too well of his talent. That's just my opinion. I think I currently rate Omeruo better than Otigba cos Omeruo missed games in Kasimpasa due to card suspensions. But Otigba was benched fot the second half of the season. I think he played only 2 league games from January till May. Infact when he was playing last year they were losing a lot. But when they restored Titi back to the line up they stabilized their winnings. That says a lot of his defending. In Hungary? I doubt Rohr knows they have a league.

TheSuperNerd:
Don't mind some forumites here.... I too have been clamouring for Otigba but fact is his performances and stats last season are below par.

Ajagun won't play against Cameoroun naa.... we are talking about Mikel's Absence....

If Mikel is not available, then who should be brought in for the AM role? There is Iwobi... but he is played as the team's left winger/left wing forward..
He is more of a left-sided creative midfielder who can improvise as a forward too but that no.10 role can be his.

There is Aluko... but haven't been invited yet.

There is Ajagun... also haven't been invited.

After the Cameroun games, we ought to look at how we can integrate a player for Mikel's role should he be absent again.

Dedebanky85:
I didn't need to watch to the end to know that Ajagun is a damn good AMF. He is that connector btw MF and Attack. He passes very well, he's always on time to pop up and shoot. I watched a couple of his games last season he was good but his team was just too leaky in the back. Well he's on loan from Panathanaikos. I hope they sell him. But as for SE, lets forget it, he won't be invited as long as Mikel still states that he's playing for SE. Rohr may never put a newbie in that AM position after what SA did to us. If na you, you go put new person there? But Ajagun can make a good case by going to a top team in either France or Belgium, he has the talent to succeed there. E.g. could be Marseille, Nice, Genk, or Liege. I'd be glad to see him in SE but I know Rohr won't invite him

Turkish Club Monitor Akwa United Striker , Alhassan
By Johnny Edward

Akwa United striker, Ibrahim Alhassan is attracting interest from an unnamed Turkish first division club, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.

The club vying for his services this summer had in May sent scout to watch him in France where he made two unofficial appearances for the Super Eagles against Corsica and Togo.

According to a close source, enquiries have been made about the 20 year old forward's availability who was impressive during those games.

"One Turkish club is interested in Alhassan, and they have began talks over a move this summer," the source told Completesportsnigeria.com .

"He is being monitored and we hope both teams can reach a good agreement for him soon."

Alhassan is the second highest scorer in the Nigerian Professional Football League with 11 goals three behind Stephen Odey the current league top scorer with 15 goals.

I like this Ajagun's style of play a lot. I have 2 answers to this - My fantasy and what I know Rohr would do. In Mikel"s absence

1) My fantasy would be either Ajagun, Aluko or drop Nacho to the 10 role. Nacho has the ability to pass and score. Aluko would give you a crazy work rate and some passint, Ajagun would give you guile and passing range but forget about him scoring. My pick would be Aluko anytime anyday.

2) But reality in Mikel's absence would be Rohr would play Etebo or Iwobi there. Iwobi has started making me mad these days that I don't even want to see him in the team for a while. As for Etebo, he just showed in the SA game that he's just a hustler only. My pick depends on the opposition. African opponents - Etebo. Any other continent I could manage Iwobi.

nice one.

however I believe we can be able to give Mikel a free role in the team. that is he will neither be the AMF or CMF he plays wherever he finds himself at that particular time, in such a scenario I would advocate for Ajagun's inclusion. Aluko is good as an AMF but as an all rounder ie CMF and AMF combined I think Ajagun gets the nod truth be told he isn't bad at all, not to mention his work ethics too, he hustlers for the ball and even before he wins the ball he has already seen who he is going to pass the ball to. I think he can do what Etebo did against Algeria while also adding creativity to it so that Etebo can start playing his natural position for us, the LWF and Iwobi? Well he may have to start working really hard

Milan Winger Oduamadi Is Africa's Record Goalscorer At Confederations Cup (Top Seven Revealed)

Out-of-favour Nigeria international Nnamdi Oduamadi is Africa's record goalscorer at the FIFA Confederations Cup with three goals to his name.

The AC Milan winger surpassed the record previously held by six players, including ex-Everton striker Daniel Amokachi, when he bagged a hat-trick in the Super Eagles 6-1 hammering of Tahiti on 17 June 2013.

Oduamadi became the first African player to net a hat-trick in the tournament after finding the net in the 10th, 26th and 76th minute at the Estádio Mineirão, Belo Horizonte.

Five other Nigerian players have scored in the Confederations Cup : Amokachi, Mutiu Adepoju, John Obi Mikel, Emmanuel Amuneke and Elderson Echiejile.

Cuauhtémoc Blanco (Mexico) and Ronaldinho (Brazil) are the overall record goalscorers in the Confederations Cup with nine goals.

Africa's Top Goalscorers Confederations Cup

Nnamdi Oduamadi (Nigeria) - 3 goals

Samir Kamouna (Egypt) - 2 goals

Mohamed Zidan (Egypt) - 2 goals

Daniel Amokachi (Nigeria) - 2 goals

Helman Mkhalele (South Africa) - 2 goals

Katlego Mphela (South Africa) - 2 goals

Bernard Parker (South Africa) - 2 goals

Exclusive: Sokari Offered Three-Year Deal By Club Africain After Making Noise In Tunisia

Allnigeriasoccer.com understands Club Africain are in advanced talks with Club Sportif Sfaxien over the signing of Nigeria national-teamer Kingsley Sokari, 22.

The attacking midfielder has taken the Tunisian Ligue 1 by storm since his arrival from Nigeria powerhouse Enyimba in January 2016.

Club Africain have made Sokari their top priority in the summer transfer window, and have firmed up their interest by offering him a three-year deal.

I thought I was the onky person probably over reacting regarding Iwobi. I'm glad someone else would place Etebo in the wings ahead of Rohr. Well I believe Ndidi is a great talent, however I would utilize him in the LB position for now (afterall he played there for Genk in his initial season). There's something about Onazi's game I like when he plays with Mikel. Mikel lacks energy and pace but Onazi has that in abundance and seems to always pass to Mikel when they play together. So in Lieu of that, I'd like to see a team of:
Ikeme; Shehu RB, Balogun & Troost CBs, Ndidi LB; Onazi DM, Mikel (anywhere in MF), Ajagun (AM/CM) Etebo/Aluko (LWF), V.Moses (RWF), Iheanacho (False9). We'd play without a point man. We'd just using roamers going forward.
