It's why I suggested Mourinho try out another formation like 352, or a 343 with the wing-forwards instructed to cut in most times, in order to provide Ukaku with another partner to help reduce the scoring burden on him. A partner that can ghost in behind the defenders while Ukaku drags them wide.

This is a very good performance. We looked like getting the first goal from the onset and when we eventually scored we were still the team most likely to score until a little panic set in but Lingard restored confidence.

We won't be able to play like this or score the two goals if Lukaku was on the pitch. This doesn't take anything away from him though.

Yes, Ukaku has poor finishing/technical ability, that's why if we've someone that can score and ghost in behind defenders like Martial did against Tottenham, we wouldn't be much worried with Ukaku's poor finishing coz he'd more like a player to give defenders a torrid time while the SS scores.
