This Kawhi story is strange AF.. Someone tell Him to stop playing fortnite and pull up at Oracle Arena.. We want all the smoke..
Loool this Kawhi is a weirdo. I get he needs to be healthy but to not show up at any of your team's games. I'd be worried about that as a GM. Whatever bad blood you might have towards the organization these guys on the floor are still your guys. Ohh well who am I to judge? He could have his reasons

grin grin Playoff Klay is fun to watch. He's one reason I think Houston will suffer if they keep depending on isolation plays by harden. A locked in klay can significantly reduce the efficiency of the isolation plays of harden & also punish every defense lapse by the rockets.

Actually have no problem with him not playing since he is injured or so he said. There is a man who played through injury and ainge shipped him off at the end of the day. He lost some dollars because of that i am certain.

However, not speaking to your team mates, not giving them any moral support is terrible and i am wondering if other GMs are looking at that before they make an attempt to get him.

The playoff is all about adjustments and that is what Spoelstra did in this game especially on the defensive end. He trapped the Sixers from the top by applying pressure during inbound passes and this disrupted the transition offense which was successful in game one. He also forced Simmons to become a scorer by defending the perimeter closely, having his players chase cuts especially during the pick and roll which forced Simmons to make shots. More importantly, he forced Simmons to become a defender which made him get 4 fouls.

Wade was vintage on the night as he resurrected the demons of the 2000's which the Sixers or anyone for that matter would hate to deal with. He ran the ball from the point and the Sixers had no answer for his step back fadeaway jumpers and drives to the basket. Whiteside is a very important piece because the Sixers are crashing the board on both ends but the man has to find a way to stay out of foul trouble. Dragic has been underwhelming in both games, he needs to find his mojo with aggressive drives while staying away from foul trouble.

The Heat are a very dangerous team because of coach Spoelstra and how tough they play. Force Simmons to score 30 if he wants but limit the assists and the rebounds. SIMPLE!!!!
I'm seeing the highlights now and the problem with the Sixers stem not just from the shitload of 3's they missed but the fact that a lot of them were contested and a lot of times with their feet barely set

Ilyasova-Saric-Belinelli-Redick are somewhat similar offensively and on a bad night everything can go to shit pretty quickly. Of course they have to roll out this lineup largely because Simmons cannot shoot but Embiid cannot return soon enough

Whiteside would be more important when Embiid returns. He's been a non factor for the most part

The Spurs would be the biggest losers any which way which is why Pop could not help but throw shade at Kawhi while praising Aldridge. I bet they would love to trade him but the injury and his demeanor would even make it tough to get full value.

Not necessarily because the Sixers were crashing the board and winning the offensive battle on the board. Ilyasova registered 11 rebounds with 6 of those on the offensive, Simmons 9, Saric 9 and a host of others. Furthermore, the Sixers had no answer for Whiteside when he was on the court on both ends but he was unable to stay away from foul trouble. The Sixers have to play this way because they don't have Embiid but it would be a difficult adjustment whenever Embiid returns because he demands the ball and that may change the way they play.

I have always maintained a huge level of respect for Spoelstra and the Heat and even before the post season I have stated how I want to avoid the Heat in the 1st round.

I would rather have your Bulls though!!! But hey, we know they are tank specialists.

But they won without him so I'd still say he's not really been a factor. Foul trouble or not his output has mostly been bleh.

The Sixers would need Embiid defensively and on nights their shooters get cold. Where Whiteside would be needed would be in helping to neutralize Embiid which he has had some luck in doing. He's also someone who can put Embiid in foul trouble as well
