Seriously, how do you horror fans deal with being alone in the dark? Ended up watching The Conjuring 2 at a friend's place and I've been sleeping in my cousins' room since then. It will probably be weeks before I can sleep alone in my room again. And the scariest part is that it was based on true events.

Lol. that was one of the most terrifying scenes of that movie plus the bathroom scene were the mother tried to cool the boys temperature in that bath tub. Movie was Scarry as hell though, but I've seen it like twice so I guess it didn't quite terrify me because if it did,I wouldn't have bothered seeing it a second time.

This is one of maybe only four horror movies that ever really got its claws into me, that really stuck. I've watched it like 5 times now, and the scary bits still hold up. The noises (the noise that plays with the tape and the high screech) always give me shivers. This movie literally gave me nightmares, and yet, I cannot stop watching it.

I know the reason the movie didn't quite get to me like that, its because I saw the movie with a colleague during the day on Sunday after church service on both occasion, i know I wouldn't make that mistake of seeing such a movie at night.

Koice, what's the relationship btw the little girl & the boy she usually possess, are they related or something because the girl could have possessed anybody she liked but she choose the boy. I also guess they were age mates right.

Nah, I'm not really into horror movies like that to be honest, in fact I only watched this nun film because of someone else

You people that are not horror movie lovers should stop watching horror movies because you end up spoiling it and giving shitty reviews.

Stick to your romance movies biko

2 reasons:

- Aiden (the boy) watched the tape, and unwittingly bound himself to Samara (the demon girl)
- Both are roughly the same age, so possession-wise, he's very compatible, I guess.

Legend has it Samara is still looking for clueless souls to ensnare. Beware of any old VHS tape lying around you, could be Samara. grin

jeez dat literary sent cold shivers down my spine. But seriously, how could she still be looking for clueless souls to possess, when the climax has already been resolved. As in her main aim for the possession, wasn't it because she wanted her dead body located & her story told??

Someone who isn't a horror movie lover can't be objective in their review. #fact

You can't be objective in what you don't like. Its common logic.

I am not a romance movie lover so I definitely can't give an objective review on romance movies.

Stick to movies/genres that you like and give your reviews.

The vengeful ghost lives on... through the tapes. Legend says the sequence cannot be stopped, but can be avoided. Just make a copy of the evil VHS tape, and make sure another person sees it, then you're off the hook.

Adding 'fact' to the end of things doesn't make it true lol. I'm not a romance movie lover either and I can still have an objective opinion on whatever it is I've watched. Not everyone sets such a low threshold on basic rational thought for themselves, if you yourself can't give an objective review on things you don't like that's your own business lol leave the rest of us out of it please and tnx lol

KoiceReloaded:
THE MOST TERRIFYING MOVIES EVER MADE

- 28 Days Later: Imagine waking up to a world where you're an endangered specie?
- REC: Found footage Spanish Horror thriller about a documentary film crew following a team of firefighters. It started slowly, but once it kicks into high gear, it becomes a relentless, claustrophobic, violent hellride of atrociousness. And the ending... my God!
- Event Horizon: The first 20 mins is your normal sci-fi movie stuff, then, things got... eerie. This movie would scare you even on a bright sunny day.
- The Exorcism of Emily Rose.: If you watch this film, you'd never look at 3:33 (twenty-seven minutes to four/three thirty-three) the same again. Creepy as they come, this movie.
- The Ring: You think you're tough? Watch this after-dark with the lights turned off, then. I dare you.
- The Exorcist: No cheap jump-scares, just pure evil. Don't let your young kids see this movie, cuz it will f**k them up... 100%.
- Hereditary: It's very recent. I know, I know, it's not everyone's cup of coffee, but the horror creeps up on you.
- Threads: If you aren't afraid of a nuclear war, and it's ramifications, watching this movie will fix that ignorance, and then, some.
- Ju-on: The Grudge: Creepy as they come.
- Jacob's Ladder: I always recommend this movie any time horror comes up. What sets it apart from most of the others in the list is the fact that it's not only a horror, but is also a deep psychological mystery... mindf**ker, if we go the informal route.
- Sinister: Well... it's aptly named.
- The Outbreak; Showing how quickly a virus could spread, and it's ramifications.
- It Follows: Very creepy. The kind that stays with you for days.
- The Descent: Imagine getting lost in an underground cave, and realizing there are humanoid fresh-eating things down there with you? The moment they realize they are stuck in an unknown cave system... wow!
- Paranormal Activity: This movie is frigging terrifying, and more so, because of the handy-cam film style it employed. The documentary style makes the experience more real, like it actually happened.
- Dead Silence: Makes a strong case for the much derided jump-scare horrors.
- Insidious: The buildup of suspense is incredible.
- The Conjuring 1 and 2: Safe bets to scare horror newbies.
- The Blair Witch Project: There is something about documentary-styled horror that just sets it apart from others. The realism factor is certainly an A+.
- The Autopsy of Jane Doe: Best to watch after-dark, alone, with the lights turned off.
Lord knows I am done with horror after watching Annabelle: Creation. I will never watch horror movies again. It's messed up.

I've watched the Descent. Very nasty sad

There was something about 'It Follows' that didn't allow me go beyond the first five minutes of the movie. I didn't even know it was horror back then, but something turned me off completely and I've not watched it till this day.

bro do you know how long I waited for that movie after reading about it online. I did expect more twist, plot and adventure like in his JACK REACHER, minority report etc. to me American made (4/10)

You should not expect a twist in a real life story. I mean events that actually occurred, you cant TWIST the story to appeal to viewers, otherwise, it is no longer a real life story. But if it were a story created from a writer's imagination, then you should expect lots and lots of TWISTS. You were disappointed by the movie because of your OVER expectations of TWISTS.
