The man is right. Since you said Igbos must be one Nigeria ,then allow them to be. Fact is no Yoruba man can intimidate any Igbo in Lagos. Lagos is no man's land just as Abuja is for every Nigeria. As long as we remain one Nigeria, everyone has right everywhere in Nigeria . When Yoruba's threatened to kill Igbo's in Lagos, how many of you talked? Well,I am just trying to be a fair judge here. I am SS before you will say he is Igbo but I love Igbo's for their industriousness and for being who they are without fear of anyone as depicted in the last election where they outrightly voted for Atiku without any fear of Buhari. Nigeria will be great if only Nigerians can follow footsteps of the Igbo's. They have not tested power unlike the north yet they prosper. 7 Likes |

MOD should please stop accepting posts like this. we are in a special time in nigeria. some of us sueing for peace are not stupid, the revelation God gave some of us about nigeria is dangerous . we have been in prayer mode and hopefuly God will hear us. anybody that is thinking war will divide nigeria is on a false hope. think of your love ones, ask your elders about the consequence of war. nothing last forever:neither APC nor PDP will rule forever. aspiration, desire, personal growth and destiny fulfilment are only possible in peaceful enviroment 1 Like |

His statement was not meant in any way to refer to Yorubas as cowards. He actually meant he could trust Yorubas not to hurt him . Don't forget that IBB's grandparents migrated from Ogbomosho in Oyo state to Niger state which means he saw Yorubas as his allies hence the vote of confidence on the Yorubas when it comes to his safety. Stop misquoting to suit your purpose. 6 Likes 2 Shares |

goodnessme1: Not all madam. The truth should be told, no Igbo man or woman will take it lightly if "onye mbia bia" comes out to declare the host community or state as a no man land, mbanu! We won't accept that. You might still be young and naive, but ask your folks, there was a time Enugu state people called Anambra people "Ndi Agba enu" and branded them visitors, it was so bad then that a lot of Anambra indigenes lost their jobs, in Enugu state! Unfortunately, we have been divided along tribal, ethnic and cultural lines, we are not one in this country, and if by an act of faith or choice you find yourself in different tribal and ethnic domain, respect the host community. Forget what the constitution says, this is Nigeria. 9 Likes 1 Share |

I am a full blooded Igbo man but I believe the Yoruba's need to rise up and defend their identity, land, and culture. It's unfortunate to say this but the truth needs to be said by someone. We the Igbo's can no longer continue to be territorial in another mans land. We go to a place, they welcome us with an open hand, we establish there and prosper and the only way to show appreciation to them is to declare their land a "no man's land" How is this possible? Every land has indigenes. What the Yoruba's are tolerating even we the Igbo's will not tolerate the same in our land. Why is it possible I can move to Lagos or any Yoruba land and willfully acquire any choice land at any part of Yoruba land as long as I have the means yet we cannot accord the same opportunity and privilege to Yoruba's in Igbo land? In my place no matter how much a Yoruba man is willing to buy land, that land will not be sold to him. There is a serious need for equity from all sides. The Yoruba's must be accorded what they accord us. The Yoruba's must demand what is theirs. In Igbo land, Igbo's speak with one voice and foreigners cannot Influence things in our land. If we have Eze Igbo in Yoruba land, why then can't we have Oba of Yoruba in Igbo land? Yoruba's must stand up and defend that which is theirs. The liberality of the Yoruba's must be reciprocated by others. You can easily be a house of assembly member in Yoruba land even as an Igbo man or Akwa Ibom person but can we say the same in Igbo land? You people must rise and defend what is yours. Elections in your land cannot continue to be decided by foreigners. It cannot happen in my place, so why would you Yoruba's allow it? Being too nice is foolishness. Defend what is yours now or forever lose it." Do you agree or disagree with Lawrence Ibe? 9 Likes 1 Share |
