Chad is a landlocked African country whose military decimated and finished boko haram that has routed Nigerian military for a decade despite very high military budget 14 Likes 2 Shares |

haywire07: How you people stay in your hut in the village andnpeddle lies ignorantly baffles sane mind. Have you been to South East? When did you conduct the research all round south east to come to the conclusion that it is landlock? Let me healnyour ignorance. There's a place in Abia state called "Azumini" literally meaning back of sea, it leads directly to the blue sea, some people used it during the civil war. At the appointed time, it will serve as a trade route to the region. In terms of oil, the oil deposits in Imo stste keep increasing on daily basis, a lot of oil exploration has been done in Imo state and the results are impressing. Not just In, Anambra and Abia also have their deposits of the oil. Also do not forget that south east has the largest deposit of Gas in the entire country, little wonder NLNG is partnering with Imo State government on that project, and as you know, gas is the future even when the future is bleak for crude oil. But south east is not going to be oil dependent, we are seeing industrial revolution happening in Anambra, we have also confirmed that Aba is strategically positioned and ready to be the Japan of Africa. Onitsha main market, Nkwo Nnewi,. Ochanga Markets, Mgbuka , Ariara Market, Ekeoha Shopping center are some markets that are going to facilitate large volume trades in the region. Enugu has great deposits of coal in commercial quantity which has been abandoned for years, it will be harnessed to it's full capacity. Ebonyi has salt and rice, which can also be brought to standard and exported So you can see, south east is the only region that is dully positioned to be its own country because it will enable them harness their potentials. 35 Likes 3 Shares |

The NIGER DELTA, THE GDP OF THIS USELESS DIVIDIED NATION CALLED NIGERIA needs to break away and go it alone. Use the wealth of Niger Delta to develop the Niger Delta. Let the other states fend for themselves. Niger Delta can become the new DUBAI of Africa. 6 Likes 6 Shares |

Read up on Fulani. They believe in violence to pass their message but if you repel them severally, they will flee. They are weak militarily but will try to use a few of your people amongst you ,against you because they have perfected this because they have been in power for a considerable period. They have consistently used religion and basically lack of education among the Hausas. 3 Likes 3 Shares |

gidgiddy:: that's not true......a country owns and controls about 22km from coastline into the ocean..after then, it becomes no-man's land..this said river you are talking about flows into or from the ocean through rivers state(south-south) and so it's within their territory and control..just like the Panama canal is within the control of Panama. 21 Likes 3 Shares |

SW always making noise when they hear Biafra they will start panicking. See how they litter the thread on how they will be the best country. Awon cowards. Is ironically how SE they mocking of been landlocked is the one asking for their independent nation while cowards are worshiping the north as slaves to remain in one Nigeria. 17 Likes 3 Shares |

mrvitalis: You are not wise my friend. Southern Borno have Christians, Southern Bauchi have Christians, Northern and Southern Adamwa have Christians. Yobe have Christians, Kebbi, zamfara, sokoto have Christians. My question is how will you carve them into your delusional middle belt region? All these places I mention are very far from each other, and they are placed in the midst of Muslim predominant communities. I keep on saying SW and Kogi Muslims have strong bond with Northern Muslims, and they are the majority in SW. They have mutual loyalty between them. You can never create a region based on religion. In the middle belt 3 states are predominantly Christians while 3 states are predominantly Muslims. 4 Likes 1 Share |

BUSINESSARENAA:I've toured the South East more than you ever will. I know you typed all these with tears and pain but calm down. Ihotago? I know SE doesn't accept obvious facts, especially when it doesn't favor them. So I understand your pains. It's pathetic I don't know what map you are using, but let me agree with you about the presence of the river leading to hell. So ask yourself, does the river not exit itself through another state before emptying itself into the Atlantic? And why have they not built a major port there? Oil in Imo? Tell us the estimated deposit there And I don't think i said SE will not survive. At least they will eat enough ebonyi rice and their very salty water. Rather, I'm only saying their chances of survival compared to other regions will come with lots of suffering. 11 Likes 3 Shares |

Ezewuzie01: You are somehow correct. The fate of an independent South East is intrinsically linked to the South South for very strategic reasons that cannot be wished away. Without the cooperation of the territory that makes up the South South today, the SouthEast would really struggle to reach its full potential. The South South's later rejection of the Biafra project during the civil war contributed immensely to the stillbirth of the rebellion and loss of that war. 12 Likes 1 Share |

Ezewuzie01: So says a Igbo wannabe! The OPs question with regards to the south-east and south-south is just delving into the realms of fantasy, because he’s taken it for granted that the so called south-south as presently delineated would leave as one country, and the Igbo in this zone would elect to remain there to form Niger-Delta Republic, or whatever, with the Ijaw, Uhrobo, Itsekiri, Edo, and the hundreds of other disparate ethnicities that presently make up the zone! I may just as well ask where next a mammy-water would be sighted riding a unicorn! Also south-east leaving as presently delineated and being ‘land-locked’ is no more than an excerpt from the wet dream you had yesternight! What makes you think the south-east is presently ‘landlocked’ and doesn’t have access to the sea? What of the access from Obuaku, Oguta and Onitsha? Granted some work would need to be done to dredge and expand the waterways, but Panama and Suez canals have shown us where there’s a will...there’s a way, and that with determination and effort a independent country can achieve a lot! The issue of access to the Ocean being a problem is a moot point because, as i states earlier, there will be no Niger-Delta Republic that will include our allies/cousins the Efik/Ibibio/Annang, for access to the sea to become a sticking-point! The waterway we will need will be the one dividing a potential Akwa-Cross Republic from a Ijaw Republic, and so it will be a international waterway...or at the very worst, the ‘south-east’ republic will pay some charge to Akwa-Cross for its ships to use the channel with its (Akwa-Cross Republics) flag! And i’ve not even touched on our oyel and gas deposits, not to mention our human resource which even our detractors will admit are quite formidable! You lot salivating at the prospects of a homogeneous Igbo country suffering economically are just doing it out of hate, jealousy and anger that the ‘pesky’ Igbos have the temerity to try and scatter you darling ‘one Nigeria’! Your postulations are not based on any well thought out analysis, but are bourne out of sentiments and bile! 12 Likes 2 Shares |
