The tracking on NIPOST website should show the current location of your package.

I ordered for an item on Ali Express with tracking number RB019428737SG. I got a message to pick up my items from the NIPOST Abeokuta and I went to pick them up on 19th January. I got 2 items but I told them I was expecting 3 items. But they didn't have any slip for the 3rd item. I tracked my missing item on 23rd January and saw that it has 'departure from outward office of exchange'. Lagos IMPC Air. That's after it showed it got to their Abeokuta office. I have sent NIPOST a mail and I didn't get any response and I called their Abeokuta office and they said it didnt get there. I don't understand what is going on or does it mean my item is been returned back?

Give your local Post Office 2 days to sort out the mails. You can visit the PO if you don't hear anything from them by Thursday.

Thank you so much. They called today and told me to come for it. But they are requesting #96,000 for custom duty fee because it’s an iPhone.

Please is that appropriate ?? as it’s looks strange.
I haven’t paid and I haven’t gone to collect it because I don’t understand how I have to pay custom duties after I paid doorstep delivery fee to Royal Mail in the UK.

Please kindly advise.

I'm afraid you will have to pay customs duty if it is an iPhone. Visit the PO and find out if the duty can be negotiated. Ask to see the document generated by NCS to confirm the actual custom duty fees.

It depends on the device model and valuation by NCS.

If NCS valued the package at ₦500,000 then total duty should be up to ₦96,000.
