Business / Re: Refinery, Not Solution To Nigeria’s Oil Problem – Imf by prefers555: 8:16am On May 14, 2011 |
GUYS, SIMPLY PUT, THE IMF GUY IS ANGRY THAT WE ARE PAYING LESS 4 ACOMMODITY THEY ARE PAYING DOUBLE FOR. HE FORGETS THAT WE DONT HAVE REGULAR SUPPLY OF ELECTRICITY AS THEY HAVE IN THEIR OWN NATION. BESIDES THAT ITS HI TIME OUR GOVT GIVE THIS MONEY TO STAE GOVT TO INVEST IN LOCAL REFINERY INSTEAS OF INSISTING ON IMPORTING WHAT WE HAVE LOCALLY AS A RAW MATERIAL AND PAYING SO CALLED SUBSISIES. IT IS OBVIOUS OUR GEJ LED GOVT IS VERY INSINCERE. |

Politics / Re: Recurrent Crisis In Northern Nigerha; Tribal, Political Or Religious? by prefers555: 9:47pm On May 10, 2011 |
The problem is so enormous. I think the problem is that the average northerner aligns himself with islamic fanatism, too un-educated to know between left and right. The level of poverty in the northern states are extremely high. But above all, i think the northern governors should be made accountable to whatever mayhem that occurs within their jurisdiction. The bauchi state governors comment after the post election violent indictes that even the elite in the north has no respect or decency for the people from other regions. God help us if we do not sit down to discuss who we are and why we are bound together. The question now is when, how will the next northern mayhem occur. And how many lives are they willing to take? |
Family / Re: Why Are There So Much Pressure On Girl's In The Family? by prefers555: 8:19am On May 10, 2011 |
The man is under more presure than the lady. The guys brain is always ticking, thinking of how to get this and that. All the lady has to think about at a marriagable age is to get a nice well deserved husband who would definitely foot the bills or else he would be regarded as less of a man. Have u ever wondered why there are more males with mental sanity problem than the female. Simple, they are under both mental and emotional pressure. |
Politics / Re: Is The Fg Really Serious About Improving Power Supply? by prefers555: 7:15am On May 10, 2011 |
To solve the power issue, set up high level investigation into who profits from nigerias continued stay in darkness. Whatever company or importer found to have profited 4rm our sorrow should be left out of the grand plan to nigerias power recovery. Non of these companies should be awarded any of the juicy contracts to avoid sabotage. SIMPLE!!!!!! |

Politics / Re: Freudian Slip: Bode George Said He Is The Symbol Of Pdp In Lagos by prefers555: 11:44pm On Apr 13, 2011 |
GEJ has been able to charm us with his humbleness, mildness and all that. I guess we are still in for another four years of PDPs mismanagement of the economy. If you ask me, i think the PDP party leaders were smart enough to have chosen his kind for the presidential election. I think the other parties should try and learn a thing or two about the tricks b4 fielding candidates from god knows where, often times without the pedigree or charm to win over our votes. Imagine the likes of buhari, ribadu, pat utomi. These guys are probably the devils pretending to be political angels of our time, while GEJ is still the devil, so to speak that we know. I think a acandidate in the stature of men like adams oshiomole, BRF and other notable ones would have been easier to sell to the voting populace than people like pat utomi who knows neat to nothing about the suffering masses than conjuring worthless economic theories that dont make immediate sense to us. |
Politics / Re: Pdp Appears To Be Popular In The South West ? by prefers555: 5:23am On Apr 12, 2011 |
I beg to differ that the pdp seems to be gaining ground in the south west. I think the support garnered by the pdp in the last election has a lot to do with the seemingly mistrust of the fashola govt by the low income earners who have in one way or the other been maeginalised in the new look lagos state. I must commend the sw regions 4 using their votes wisely. I t appears the region definitely knows what it wants as far as choosing their govt it concerned. You mess up you get the boot. You impress, you get a second chance, that is what democracy is all about. I wish other regions would take a cue, not necessarily voting the ACN, but making sure a non chalant and repressive govt or party is shown the way out. |
