Can this be possible despite all the name calling against the Uduaghan administration? Please let the world see more of these! |

Contrite and very foolish imaginative statement that shows the hollowness of the pit called mind of the originator. The originator is cancerously perverse and idiotic |

I don't need to itemise all he has done like the way itemise the money generated, because it would amount to telling someone that there is a well ahead of him, whereas he can see it |

Uduaghan has no doubt received monumental amount of money in his about five years as governor of Delta State, but fundamentally is where and how this money has been put to use? I speak from the point of view where I receive salary XYZ and proposed fully on how best I'm to spend the money only to get back home do a mental check and then find out that I have not spent the money the way I proposed but end up with a smile on my face that the money was well used. Uduaghan and Delta State present same chLlenge over and over again. Have we been careful enough to itemise in much the same clinical finese the way we xray the monies received, we will definitely end up with the same smile playing down our faces as the budget will almost balnce itself out. Think of the little pockets of roads all over the state that has made Delta State a multiple city state, think of the huge salary bills of teachers, think of the waterways and the challenges of bringing governance to the people who live there, think of the number of students whose fees are to be paid and so more. The issue is some persons so entrusted with some major jobs have failed the government and by extent ion Feltans, but we mustn't give up on the Uduaghan administration because we owe it a duty to provide the midwife and base for the Next administration irrespective of political affiliation. Uduaghan couldn't have embezzled all accrued £1.5 billion accruable to the state and yet some measure of work noticed neither would we for all certainty say he did nothing, but we should look at the challenges he equally faced too |

Once the road project begins which would be as massive as the transport Tsunami. Deltans will hEeve a sigh of great relieve. I think Your Excellency that old roads would not be neglecte too because they provide the strongest prop to the sustenance of the new ones. |

The approach of the Delta State Governor is most appreciated. Like he pointed we should leave out this flood issue from the whims of politics, if E K Clarke cud donate his structues to help IDPs then we should welcome a noble gestures and encourage it heartily. For those who would never see anything good in any effort, please remember that no matter vendatta you pursue, from now till 2015, EEU remains the governor of the state except God so decide, he cannot vacate it for U, and if U re a Christain, Paul admonishes us to pray for all those in authority for God has so ordained them. For the supporting group, please do not use this as a political point of success, use it to amplify the live of man that has been so misrepresented and give him a face of humanity, for the Governor, you have done well but like you said 'you saw faces of people looking unto you as their only hope' this shows the face of the true Deltan today hoping for a lease of life because they feel like the meaning of the name Emmanuel, Good life has come to live with them. Disregard the ugly comments, work on the constructive comments, take suggestions whether from the perceived enemies and uplift Deltans to a new level. God bless EEU, God bless Delta State 1 Like |

People have made their comments especially from legal, moralistic and common sense level in the guise of how the reclaiming process will affect the legal standing of Ibori. The saliency of this issue is borne of the need to not only protect the state of losing about 2.5 billion naira to the federal government, which is almost a fifth of the monthly allocation to the state, but in protecting the 'mantra' called Ibori. I here present some of the view points Ibori has not been convicted of any crime concerning his tenure as Governor of Delta State in any nigerian court. In fact the subsisting court decision cleared him of over a 100 count charge! He has also denied offering anyone $15m bribe. So if the ownership of the money is unknown, the owner of the bank inherits it! Yesterday at 8:31pm · Have u forgotten dat Uduaghan went to court sometime ago to say Delta State dld not complain dat her monies were missing. So which money are they asklng for again? Yesterday at 8:45pm · Like There is no proof that the money in question is missing from the state treasury. In my opinion it is the man's personal money. The question of the state demanding for it is out of place. Yesterday at 4:17pm · Like Delete Obukoadata Ogheneruke Presly Yes all monies confiscated from the former governor was deemed to have been illegally gotten from the Delta State treasury. Recall Ibori did not stand trial for amassing personal fortune but for defrauding Delta State, so the $15m should be no exception. I think it should be returned but the modus operandi for managing the fund should be a critical issue or should we say that the money confiscated in the UK should be forfeited too? Yesterday at 4:23pm · Like Delete Andy Obbu No Nigerian court have found Ibori guilty of any crime:. The state should file for separation of funds with the british government. Our problem in Delta is beyond this money in question. Ibori is rich Yesterday at 4:33pm · Like Delete Obukoadata Ogheneruke Presly Ibori is rich and rich he will continue to be, our grouse here is why will the federal government hold on to the money? Return it back to Ibori or Delta State! The law concerning bribery am not too conversant with. I will check and get back to you . The money belongs to Ibori. If the law provides for the money to be returned to the giver. The law does not allow it be returned to the giver rather to the state, which is Delta Also note that the case of bribery have not been established against the governor. To me it is an allegation made against the man by Ribadu Do you know Joshua Dariye is a serving senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria? Therefore, which ever you want to protect, Delta state or Ibori, the question is should that money finds it's way into the hands of one misguided EFCC official as has been the case with all exhibit monies in this country, or should we get back to the state to be used for some developmental purposes? I think the debate has gone beyond whether it should be returned or not, but to the level of how it should be managed as well as the expectant monies from the United Kingdom. Dr Uduaghan should begin to set up a Commonwealth Committee to identify strategic needs for the money to be so returned. In this light we would be looking beyond the government of Delta state to the people of Delta State 2 Likes |

The $15million dollar bribe allegedly received by the EFCC from the former Governor of Delta State Chief James Onanefe Ibori should be returned to the coffers of the Delta State Govt because it belongs to the state. When former Governor Joshua Dariye money was confiscated in similar circumstance, it was returned to the coffers of Plateau State. In the same vein, the case of Chief D.S.P. Alamieseigha the funds were also returned to Bayelsa State coffers. Why is the case of Delta State different? The money when returned will go a long way in addressing the infrastructural deficits of the state. This has been the argument. My guys what do you think? I'm eager to hear from you. I think a commonwealth fund commission should be set up to manage the monies and more that would be returned 1 Like |
