The problem with this is that ur try to suppress ur own need.

As Humans we sometimes try to protect ourselves, be selfish (which is normal) and take things given freely for granted.
For guys and babes, there are a lot of factors:- Like material advantage, Sex, infatuation, emotional Imbalance, experience e.t.c each affect the response we give.
Mothers and children, Children quite often take their maternal love for granted and treat it as overbearing
If God where human he would be badly hurt by the way his love for mankind is taken FOR GRANTED

My issue with the pastors is the type of interpretation they give the bible. And the thousands they suck dry. I once witnessed such preaching If not for the fact that accompanied some people there I would have asked the pastor to explian between the tithe and the peoples lives which they value the more?? Too much emphasis is laid on the tithe, infact, the pastor used the entire Sunday service to preach about giving to the church but not a second about the people's soul. He said so many things that made me want to stand up and question him.

The world is a global village now. What happens @ one end could have repercussions at the other. A small community in denmark is just a few click of the mouse button away from being international. The crusades (or Jihads) might be centuries ago but the evolution took time. It was not spontaneous. As much as we abhor it, As much as we dislike it, this violence will not disappear overnight. Its a fact of life. The stake holders has to work on together in mutual respect, tolerance and occassionally exhibiting a forceful willingness to use violence.

Northern Nigeria has always been a hot bed or religious violence. (I abhor the violence in all its entirity) Only CAN took a proactive step to avoid the violence by making a public annoucement on the 14th Condemning the cartoons. What did the Government do ?? Nothing, nothing. CAN anticipated it but has always been a minority player in the politics of northern Nigeria. The State and Federal Government and security outft were all caught napping. They contributed to the mayhem by failling in their primary duty. Provision of security.

Am niether Blind or a muslim. But u can call me a muslim if u like. Maybe a head Imam will in 20 years from now make a public annoucement apologising for the havocs these mullahs has wrecked. But it still does not mean that the crimes has not been commited and lives were not lost the apology in the future will not stop the problem now.
Am not defending the actions of these mullahs am pointing out those who contributed to shattering d peace.

        The cartoon was never published in Nigerian yes, but the  world is such a global village that these things done in other part of the world will have effect at the ends of it. I do not like the violence and the Ngerian situation in it. I am Igbo as well and regret that our people are at the recieving end of this things as well. I have brothers and relations up north who are one way or another affected. What the Muslims up north did is wrong in its enterity. The uneducated and extremists among them has been manipulated by a head Imam or cleric to unleash violence against the percieved enemies of Islam and Northern muslims in particular.

My beef is with the STUPID DANISH PEOPLE AND THE TWO FACED EUROPEANS. Google, Aol, MSN, yahoo (Though all American companies but they are global as well) and a host of others censor chinese search materials in order to pacify the chinese and gain access to their enormous market and yet they can't respect the simple wish of a religious people and censor such carton out of their papers.

The problem with the Europenas is they have refused to correctly evaluate the Islamic religion. It will not go away! it is here to stay. It is a fact of life. Their teaching is not all violence though some part of the Koran could be misinterpreted to preach violence.  The Europenas easily dismiss them as fanatics and yes they are fanatics but the attitude of the Europeans only give those minor few who forment troblue reason to unleash violence and cause troblue they make it difficult for the moderate ones among them to get following.

The Nigerian scenerio is simply pathetic .

 Every fool who is saftey concious must have known it is only a question of time for the violence to get to the north after the sprialing riot in the middle east. The government took no precaution to contain it. None!! Nothing !!! even though it took more than 2 weeks for it to take effect. If it is Odi, or Escavors, To Alams, Darieye, Ngige they will send troops proactively.

The north is not homogenous it is a misktake we make on this thread. It comprises of both christians and muslims, and the muslims are dominate unlike in Yourba land. So it easier for them to unleash violence because they are greater and can take saftey in numbers, in the Yourba land, if the muslims attempt to unleash violence it willbounce back to them as the yourba Christians and athesits are greater in number. The peace in Yourba Land is maintained by knowledge of strenghts.

Untill the Christians up north entrenches in the mind of the their muslims brothers that unprovoked violence will not be condoned trouble makers will for ever use them as sitting ducks. The peace can be maintained by the simple knowledge that they the northern muslims do not have the monopoly to wreck violence. We have seen it in platuea state where the Christians answered them with their own pill and they will think twice before unleasing violence again knowing it will be answered. Though Plateau resembles the Yourbas in strenghts of numbers.

The government tolerates the violence and gives room for it. Strigent measures will disuade it simple.

U talk of tolerance and peace! But the publication of that cartoon does not show any regard for tolerance. Peace is only achieved when parties involved respect those things others hold sacred. When people hold a particular thing sacred no matter how u feel about it, u should respect them and do not insult that thing.

Islam has always been known to hold things concering the prophet Muhammed sacred. For GOD's sake those stupid DENMARK NEWSPAPER people should have had the ssense to hold it sacred for them.

Yes they cartooned Christ, Presidents and what have u. But it is also known that christians do not react violently to it and presidents take it as part of their daily activity and ignore it. ut it has been proved time and time again that insulting Muhammed will proke violence so why should they do it ?!

Because one people does not react does not mean others will not. Peace is only achieved when u respect what others hold sacred. They will respect u as well

Let us share our experiences on the Lagos traffic & Danfo Drivers

Everybody in lagos seems to be in a hurry, Danfo drivers, private car owners e.t.c and the traffic is something else.

Two days ago i was walking along Ketu and saw a conductor and Danfo drive discharge a woman having convultion on the side walk

Today, @ Eko, i saw a man pull down a conductor from a moving vehicle and gave him sharp blows causing hold up as they were separated. Further down along the road, the okada driver i was on pushed an old woman who intercepted the Okada and delivered resounding slaps to the Okada man.
