'Good morning', i said to the cafe attendant, 'how can i help you' he replied,i looked around the whole cafe hall,it was crowded with students that also came to check their waec result,before i could say WAEC,a girl slid from her seat to the floor, 'water ooo,water ooo' the cafe attendant screamed at the top of his voice,everybody had already gathered around her,i managed to check the computer screen in front of the girl to see what could have triggered her unconsciousness,una wan know wetin i see? she had f9 parralel except for yoruba where she had c6,i opened my mouth lyk i wanted to swallow something,before i could say 'buhari' gboaaaaaaa!,water was dripping from my cloth,the idiot that went to fetch water slipped and emptied the container of water on me, 'na me faint abi u know see who faint for ground' ,i screamed, 'hahahahahahaa' hopezy was laughing hard at me,shame swallowed me up,the unconscious girl coughed back to life and everybody's attention was shifted away from me; 'nobody dey check result again for here before una go come die finish for my shop' the cafe attendant announced, 'abi God wan punish you,after dem don baff me finish with water,you no go come still check my result for me' i almost said but i dare not say it because the guy in question looks like an olympic medalist in weight lifting. We walked down to another cybercafe,instead of buying browsing time, we decided to give the cafe attendant our details to help us check the result on his system and also print it,he asked if we have our scratch card,i replied saying i have mine with me but my friend here has the money with him,he handed hopezy a scratch card and collected his money,he decided to check mine first since i have my card scratched,my heart started beating at the rate of 5beats per seconds as he kept punching the keys on his keyboard,'i am done you can pick it there', the cafe attendant said pointing at the printer opposite him,i moved towards the printer,my legs began to fail so i told hopezy to help me get it,'o boy na 2credit u get oo' he said, i thought it was one of his jokes,so i moved closer to him and collected the piece of paper containing my hope of becoming a university student that year.

I came,i saw but i didnt conquer because what hopezy told me was nothing but the truth,his result was printed almost immediately and he had good grades.

I felt very weak as i walked back home, i was replaying the events of the previous three hours in my head,i was also thinking of how to present this kind of result at home.
