Politics / Ihedioha Has No Hand In Onyeriri's Misfortune by sameze88: 10:18am On Jan 20, 2023
Ihedioha has no hand in

Onyeriri's misfortune

-Group

A group, Coalition of Imo Young Leaders (CIYL) has called on those blaming erstwhile governor of Imo State, Hon Emeka Ihedioha for the disqualification of the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Imo West Senatorial District, Jones Onyereri to desist forthwith.

According to the CIYL, Ihedioha, a former Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives has no hand in Onyereri’s disqualification by the Supreme Court.

Speaking with National Newsbreak on Thursday in Owerri, Publicity Secretary of CIYL, Ebuka Nelto Mbamala asserted that there was no way Ihedioha would have been instrumental to Onyereri’s ordeal when he (Ihedhoha) had been similarly dealt with by the apex court.

Mbamala insisted that Orlu leaders should rather be held responsible for not living up to expectations and responsibilities.

He said; “Orlu leaders should be held responsible for not living up to their responsibilities and expectations.

“Ihedioha as the leader of the party had gathered all stakeholders and candidates, asking for out-of-court settlement for all contentions and the way forward for the party?

“From our sources in Imo PDP, Ihedioha remains the most pragmatic leader who is poised in giving right leadership at all times to the party and focused in ensuring that good governance is brought back to our state.

“Enemies have invested so much in Ihedioha's and Jones relationship, Ihedioha as the symbol of good governance in Imo State can't continue to be maligned at all times!

Politics / Gov Aminu Waziri Tambuwal A Modern Day Educational Reformer. by sameze88: 8:36am On Jan 26, 2022
Tambuwal on assumption of office as governor of Sokoto State declared **State of Emergency** in education. Through the acts of the Legislation procured a Bill “Right to Education Bill”. Bill for Free and Compulsory Education for all Children between the ages of 6 - 18 years, in all the Govt Schools. In Sokoto, it’s now a Criminal Offence to stop any child from going to School.
Know this, to Gov Tambuwal; he believes and understands like a liberal Nigerian Northerner: That to advance a society and sustain peace, an educated citizenry is imperative; The liberating force embedded in education and its centrality in the progress and development of a society cannot be over emphasised.

As a Visionary leader he has positioned the children of Sokoto for the future. The larger Nigerian Children/Nation needs to be properly positioned for the future.

Politics / .9th Senate Is Running Out Fast Without An Okigwe Senator In The Senate by sameze88: 3:48pm On Jan 31, 2021
IMO NORTH SENATORIAL BYE-ELECTION

THE SADISM AND CYNICISM Of DENYING PDP VICTORY AND DENYING OKIGWE ZONE REPRESENTATION IN THE SENATE

...OUT OF 109 SEATS IN THE SENATE, ONLY OKIGWE ZONE SEAT REMAINS VACANT SINCE OVER A YEAR

...9TH SENATE IS RUNNING OUT FAST WITHOUT AN OKIGWE SENATOR IN THE SENATE

...ONLY THE DECLARATION OF PDP WITH CHIEF EMMANUEL OKEWULONU AS WINNER WILL BE AN ACCEPTABLE JUSTICE

By Ogu Bundu Nwadike, M.A

Only crass sadism and cynicism could explain why the good people of Imo North (Okigwe Zone) Senatorial District would be denied due representation in the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

At the last research check a moment before writing this short essay it was confirmed that out of the 109 Senate seats in the Red Chamber, the only vacant one as at today is the seat of Imo North (Okigwe Zone) Senatorial District.

It becomes more saddening that from the look of things, with about 25 months and 100 weeks to the 2023 general elections, the efforts to produce a candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Court may linger all through the remaining life of the 9th Senate.

The scary thinking about the hanging fate of Okigwe Zone people in the Senate hinges on the fact that all plethora of courts cases instituted by both Senator Ifeanyi Araraume, and Mr. Frank Ibezim, both wannabe candidates for APC that were jointly disqualified, shamed and disgraced by the monumental ebullient judgements of Nigerian Courts on December 4, 2020, may all end at the Supreme Court.

From experience, the matters may subsist till even after the 2023 general elections, if care isn't taken, and something drastic done by those to whom it may concern, particularly the good people of Okigwe Zone. Action speaks louder than voice!

It feels too perplexing that Okigwe Zone people are being denied Senatorial representation because certain powers and principalities, godfathers and godsons in high places don't want to grant the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) it's well deserved divine victory and Certificate of Return (CoR) in December 5, 2020 bye-election.

The most appropriate nomenclatures for such decision is sadism and cynicism. It reflects the axiom that "you don't cut your nose to spite face". A hen doesn't betray and sabotage its eggs. It's only the smelly he-goat that commit the sacrilege of having carnal knowledge of its mother.

That's what some defeated, shamed and disgraced pseudo-politicians are doing to Okigwe Zone people under the circumstance of the Okigwe Zone bye-election. They're violently raping their Okigwe Zone trado-socio-cultural matriarch. That's sacrilegious!

It's hoped that the well-meaning people of Okigwe Zone will continue to make representations at all levels for the powers that be to respect the rulings of the Courts, and declare Chief Emmanuel Okewulonu of the PDP the actual winner of the December 5, 2020. Okigwe Zone people can get it if they really want!

The recent judgement in Kogi State in favour of PDP on a similar case of APC submitting the name of a candidate after the elections had been concluded should guide the Courts properly in the handling of the very sensitive case on the Okigwe North bye-election, which was won by Chief Emmanuel Okewulonu in the face of APC not having any candidate on the day of the election.

The partiality of encouraging the self-help by APC, which is struggling to manufacture a candidate where there's none must be resisted by Okigwe Zone electorate and people in support of the PDP and Chief Emmanuel Okewulonu. Nobody should help APC manufacture emergency any candidate!

Conclusively, the acts of sadism and cynicism being orchestrated and perpetrated by some unscrupulous pseudo-persons, with their external godfathers, power rustlers, and money mongers in Okigwe Zone must also be resisted and stopped. Ndi Okigwe Zone must stand firm and say big NO to enemies of Okigwe Zone! Enough is enough! The time is now!

Politics / No Better Option Than Chief Emma Okewuluonu (ikeoha Okigwe) ~ Amb. Ajachukwu Eze by sameze88: 4:01am On Nov 11, 2020
For the first time, in the Senatorial history of Okigwe, Okigwe people will have a better option in Chief Emma Okewuluonu of PDP. This is a man that has endeared himself to humanity over two decades now, with his own hard earned money. He has not been in any political office or undertaken any govt contract, yet out twisted all public office holders of Okigwe zone, past and present in benevolence to the people of Okigwe.

We have a choice to embrace a man who is a gift to humanity and who has lived his life savaging humanity, a Godsent to the political scavengers, vultures, the lords in the political evil Council, that has sworn not to allow Okigwe thread on the paths of development.

Emmanuel Enyeribenyemonyegeenyem Okewuluonu signifies the new dawn in Okigwe; for those who yearn for this in their lifetime, we are confronted with that ample opportunity to guarantee Okigwe we all, will always wish for, a scan on his antecedents will calm nerves and assure the long awaited Okigwe we shall be proud of. His name ushers in gentle breezes to the widows, less privileged, the hopeless. To him, his sleeping pills is doing good to people on everyday that comes-by.

We cannot miss this opportunity to rewrite the wrongs and set Okigwe on the Economical and societal developmental autopilot. I urge all proud Okigwe Sons and daughters to be spiritually sensitive on divine insights.

Aburi felicitate with Imo youths on Easter.

Politics / One Outstanding Quality About Emeka Ihedioha Is That He Listens. by sameze88: 12:43pm On Apr 05, 2019
One outstanding quality about Emeka Ihedioha is that he listens.

Leaders who actually wants to leave their footprints in the canals of history, eventually cherishes this great attribute.
They want the people to win and not them, great ideas to take presidence and not theirs which might not be the best at the time.

I have read about counter comments trialing on the media since the Governor elect announced and inaugurated the Technical Transition Committee, I wish to say that people who are engaging in this acts probably are unaware of Ihedioha's manifesto wherein one of the writes was boldly writing that his "Word is his Bond". Critical look at the collection of this great intellectuals and accomplished men/women, it depicts of a man who is willing to accept superior arguments and ideas, to leverage on best strategies, roadmaps and policies to revive Imo once again. This his words include and not limited, to run an all inclusive govt, leveraging on the ideas of accomplished Imolites, ability to listen to ndi Imo, reviving all sector of our common economy etc.

To Ihedioha best ideas must reign supreme.
