20th century road with no side walk, we have to many sychophants in Abia, Abia state mustbe liberated from sychophancy for thestate to work and position itself as the no 1 state in nigeria cos we are educated,we are skillful in all we do, we are the japan of africa, just tell me what we can't fabricate in Abia (Aba) we have oil and gas in abundance, we have the market. Abia is the most blessed state in the eastcoast and we deserve more

Bros as we speak sidewalks are being built on both sides. One side is already at 80% completion.

I did this on Kamalu back in June. I've been personally following the construction of this road.

are you sure this is the same road?looks like though except the camera is a few steps forward from the point the unmarked rd was captured

It is!!! I can authoritatively tell you that. Now compare the pics and see the difference of what Kamalu was and what it is now.

Marking the road does not really matter, the quality matters more,i think the thickness looks fine but the open drainage is not commendable.

The picture used is old. The road was marked before the commissioning. You can see the same road with the markings in the attached picture.

This road is not wider than the Ikpeazu's own. The only good thing about this one is the avenue trees in the background and the sidewalk of which the abia government can still fix in the days ahead.

Kamalu Street is having sidewalks. One side already 75% finished. The other side will commence with street lights. There is major rehab of roads going in in main Aba. Total rehab of St Michaels, Jubilee, Hospital Road, Old Courts, Cameron Road, etc. All these will have new asphalt overlay, cleaned out drains, road markings and street lighting. Let's be fair, the governor is working. The major problem in Aba today is the people have to help the government. They need to be clean and change this mindset of littering everywhere with waste.
Politics / Re: Ikpeazu And Obasanjo Commission Roads In Aba (Photos) by santinoj(m): 12:41am On Dec 20, 2015
These roads are big enough for inner street roads.

It's actually called Kamalu Street.

A senator who served for close to 16 years lives on Kamalu and yet did nothing. Now the governor has done it and some people who aren't even in the state to help in development are condemning him. Pathetic!
Politics / Re: Ikpeazu And Obasanjo Commission Roads In Aba (Photos) by santinoj(m): 11:07pm On Dec 19, 2015
More.

They will be marked.

Politics / Re: Ikpeazu And Obasanjo Commission Roads In Aba (Photos) by santinoj(m): 11:02pm On Dec 19, 2015
Stop being deceived and hyping on negativity. Finally a governor who wants to work for Aba has come and all you are all doing is bringing you down. Someone mentioned Kamalu is just 200m, we'll it's actually 800m+ to the river with 2 spurs of 100m+ exiting to Okpolu-Umuobo Road. The roads have have marked with walkways being built on both sides. It is still undergoing construction and about 85% complete. See first two pictures of Kamalu as at today. Second pics are from just completed full overlay of asphalt at St. Michaels by the same company. This was done strictly at night to avoid disturbing traders during the day.

Ikpeazu will rebuild not patch patch nde iga adu. He has directed commisioner of works Hon Eziuch Ubani to carry out feasibilty study on Obohia,St Michaels road and Jubili road. Work will commence very soon. Relax gee.

As for ASEPA please pay your dues

Confirmed!!! I think he even asked Raycon that recently completed Kamalu Street to proceed on the rehab of these roads you mentioned.

The easiest way to crumble IPOB and the call for Biafra is to ask all those protesting and making unnecessary noise to each bring $3,000 to build up a financial reserve that will be used in building and sustaining the early months of Biafra after creation. Then let us see how many will still ask for this cause!!!
Politics / Re: Buhari As The Minister Of Petroleum - Constitutionally Right Or Wrong? by santinoj(m): 3:04pm On Nov 11, 2015
Y'all should ask yourselves one question, if it was constitutionally wrong do you think with a SAN as VP and other lawyers, the president would carry out an action without checking the constitutional implications? The President of Nigeria is the executive officer of the state and by law is in charge of every ministry. Deciding to appoint a Minister of State for a ministry who will work in line with him is within his constitutional powers.
